The food is good however they raise their prices at lunch on Mother's Day. We went to have lunch there and were told we could not order from the lunch menu. We don't like ordering from the dinner menu because it's way too much food. Also you have to order everything separately. read more

We had not been here in a while so we figured we would have something different. I got the Sweet & Sour Pork. It was dry, veggies still raw and so much breading on the pork that's all I could taste. A solid casual Chinese restaurant and take-out place. Hubby found this through GrubHub some months ago and we decided to try it out. Flavor wise, it ranks as a 3 for me but giving this review overall 4 stars. This restaurant is one of the very few places that makes fried rice exactly how Hubby likes it. Fried rice is fried rice to me but Hubby has strong pickiness tendencies. This is one of the main reasons we have been ordering from here as of late instead of our long time favorite. Prices are very comparable to similar establishments as well. All of our orders have been through delivery so I'm not able to speak on the in-person dining experience at this time. Each order has been packed with care and delivery times are reasonable and available all day from what I can tell. At 2:15 a knock at my door that says DO NOT KNOCK a dozen times because I have a brain damaged dog who will bite. It was my order. I said this is wrong. Well, he said next time we will do better. NEXT TIME??? I had to reheat everthing. The food was awful. Beef was gristlyb and the chick full of fat. The fried rice was greasy. It was a huge waste of money for me and embarrassing to serve. I love this fooD. And yes I made a caption D it means Dang gOod. If I had my way I would eat here at least 3x's a week and not blink an eye. 1. It's so fast 2. It's so good and like fresh and real food ingredients and not greasy. 3. The people are awesome and fun. Example I love the burnt parts of the pork and they know me well enough now that they are willing to specifically give me all the brunt that they can. So I get a burnt hoook up. We've tried the following: Wor won ton, egg rolls, orange chicken (sticky), teriyaki chicken (LOVE! and not sticky), chicken lo mein (incl w every one of our orders), lemon chicken (served w a fresh lemon), beef broccoli, beget mushu (best served fresh, not recommended for delivery, crepes dried a bit), fried rice, almond chicken, cashew chicken... whew! We ordered take -out from here and were pleasantly surprised that we found a great place for Chinese food. Our order came hot, and was very tasty, and the portions were so large, that we had another meal from our left overs. Also, they have "the best" egg rolls, large,full of goodies, and not a greasy mess. We also got the king pao chicken, the pepper steak, and the Won Ton soup, which came in a large container, here again, full of goodies, and enough for 2 to have a hearty bowl. My family and I used to frequent here, until the drive through employees became rude. Tonight I decided to go again, to see if they are back to being a good place to eat (at one point we loved it). It's even worse. Drive though guy, with a strong accent, wanted to take my order through the glass. He couldn't hear me, I couldn't hear/understand him.... Very unfriendly and difficult to order a snack meal. My to-go order didn't even have a fork or a napkin ‍ The food was not even good... the rice was super salty, the chicken was tasteless.... Quality of chicken can be questionable. Most of the time the chicken seems like scrap pieces of some kind of chicken. Wife found bones in hers. The owner rounds up the bill. I got the combination B with orange B chicken. It is horrible. The egg fried rice is too dry and rice is hard, it seemed not fully cooked. The cream cheese wonton is not even good. I wouldn't say this is the best chinese food. I wouldn't even say their service is the best. What works for me about this place is the convenience of it all. I'm a frequent shopper of the neighborhood walmart directly across the street from here. Since china place does phone in/pick up orders, I can call my order in while I'm still at WalMart, then just swing by after groceries are done. The convenience of it all lies in their pick up window. Yes, they have a window similar to drive-thru eateries...and if you call in an order ahead of time, you can use that window to pick up. Honestly, it works when I have a trunk full of groceries (which usually includes perishable items). I'm fat and move slow, so saving me the time from parking, getting out of the car and going through the door does make a difference. Plus those perishables get to stay in the comfort of the car AC while I just drive up to the window. Yeah, I know...some may call that laziness, but NO! I call it efficiency.
