OMG you have no idea how happy we are to have found this place!!! Good Chinese food has felt like an impossible dream since moving to Glendale from Chicago! We've spent nearly three years waiting to find this place and couldn't be happier that we finally did! Well, actually, they found us since they sent us their menu in the mail. Most of the other Chinese places we've been to had good sesame chicken but terrible rice. Or good rice, but terrible main dishes. This place has it all and it's all good! We got sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and beef and broccoli as our main dishes and they were all perfect and costing about $10-12 per dish. We got some beef fried rice and it was amazing! We got a couple orders of egg rolls, which were smaller than we're used to from a Chinese joint, but our autistic kids ate and loved them! I'll include more pics the next time we go here. I was too busy wolfing down food to take pics this time around. If you're on the west side, try these guys out, they're amazing!!!

New Hong Kong Express is under new management. Food was made quickly, and ready when promised. Food was hot and fresh. The Mongolian beef and sesame chicken were our favorites. Mongolian beef and onions were lightly sauced. Meat is tender. Onions had a nice chared quality. Sesame chicken is sweet. There was still a slight crunch by the time we got home. It was nice to find some tofu dishes on the menu. General Tso's tofu has a nice mix of tofu and vegetables. None of us found the spicy dishes to be spicy. They were still all enjoyable. I look forward to trying more pf their dishes. I think we may have found our new takeout Chinese place.

This place is one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants. I always order the Orange Chicken dinner combo and it is always delicious! I like the spicy chicken and the sides. I think it's worth the price since you get a lot of food for the price. Definitely will keep ordering and recommend to anyone! Their foods are warm and fresh!

The food looks and tastes amazing. 5 stars is not enough to rate how good it really is. Mic drop!

Always 10/10 they offer a great size portion too. I would definitely recommend trying them over Panda Express!

I used to live in LA and worked in Pasadena... a heaven for Chinese. So happy to say, I was not disappointed!!! It was SO good. Great selection and authentic taste. My to go order was quick even though I had ordered about 15 items! Their chili oil is delicious, too. Plenty of parking Hargow: DELICIOUS and plump shrimp Shumai: I'm so happy I ordered 2 orders Shrimp and chive dumpling: basic but still delicious Soy noodles: reminds me of childhood. Was as good as any place in San Gabriel, CA Spare ribs: tasty! Curry beef turnover: exceptional. I want one now! Roast pork belly: that skin is CRISPY! Amen. Shrimp rice rolls: their sauce was excellent and most places make it too sweet for me Turnip cakes: a little too oily but still tasty Salt and pepper pork chops: good cut of meat, lacking the salt and pepper taste Sugar cakes: not too sweet and good texture So happy to have authentic Chinese in Arizona after my move! THANK YOU, GREAT WALL CUISINE!! I'll drive two hours any time for you.

That said, expectations adjusted, this spot delivers a solid yum cha experience for Arizona. As you pull in, you'll notice it's located in an unassuming strip mall. Inside, the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect -- controlled chaos, with traditional steam carts rolling through a packed dining room filled with large family tables. The service is hit or miss, and with dim sum you often want your favorites right away, so sometimes you just have to wait for the cart to come around. Tried a variety of dishes. The Cheung Fun has always been a favorite of mine and it was decent. The Shumai, Har Gow, Char Siu Bao, Lo Bak Go, Taro, and of course Dan Tat (egg tarts) were all good. I think I'm officially done ordering Wu Gok though -- that one didn't do much for me and probably won't be on my list next time. Almost forgot, you can't have yum cha without Gai Lan, and as usual it was good -- honestly a dish that's hard to mess up. Overall, the best dim sum I've had so far in Arizona. PS -- thanks Joyce W for the recommendation. Saluti

Some of the portions have gotten smaller, things that are not supposed to be spicy are sometimes spicy and sometimes not even when you ask for them to be not spicy. There have been several times at the Emperor's beef have tasted like orange. Which it shouldn't. Most of the time dishes that Used to come with plenty of sauce now come with no sauce or a very watered down version of sauce. We almost always A few of the same dishes every time. But we never know whether it's going to be good or not anymore. And I must say over nine dollars for a large egg drop soup is ridiculous. Egg drop soup cost pennies to make and everyone knows it so to charge nine dollars for something that probably takes $.40 to make and maybe $.75 for the container is just ridiculous. I can see the prices Going up on other dishes because the cost of meat, etc. has gotten higher but seriously that's just too much for egg drop soup and half the time you don't know whether it's Going to be to salty or just right. I hope they get their act together. And start putting out the quality of food that they used to put out.
