I've been here three times total, but tonight was my first time dining in. The food is amazing 10/10 recommend. I've driven 30 minutes twice specifically for their food, and I'd do it again until the end of time. Dining in really sealed it for me. Everyone was so kind and attentive, and it's clear they have a lot of regulars, which says everything. When the regulars walk in, you'll know... it's basically "hurry up and get out of their spot" . Great food, great service, and a place that clearly takes care of its people. The food was fresh, hot and flavorful. The tables and bathroom are clean. I liked my noodles and orange chicken, we paid almost $50 for all of this though. I thought I'd leave a review with photo because I was looking for photos of the noodles/food in here before going. The owners are so nice and are always friendly! No matter what we order from here the food is delicious. The portions are good for the pricing and everything is alwasy freshly made. Once in awhile there can be a little extra grease in some dishes but overall they are fairly consistent. THE DELIVERY IS FAST!! I ordered "Noodle Soup" by mistake thinking it was Chowmein it just taste like veggies in water with plain noodles, although, not bad if you add your own spices and seasoning. The chowmein I did order came with orange chicken which were both really good, well cooked and flavorful, especially the orange chicken. The beef and broccoli was good the fried rice needed some more seasoning. The Crab puffs were my favorite taste good with sweet and sour sauce. The shrimp egg foo young was good (needed salt) overall I recommend getting orange chicken with noodles and beef and broccoli. Classic combo. read more

Welp, Yelp... I just moved to Phoenix from Rhode Island. There are at least 10-15 Asian restaurants within a 10 mile radius out there. My favourite is Lucky House-- family owned by Danny Zheng and his brother and children, they go to the docks everyday for fresh seafood and always remember your name and ask about "Mommy and Daddy" so nourishing and reliable. However, this review is about Star Wok. In a foreign land of chain food and sub-par grocery stores, there is always phenomenal food at Star Wok. We usually fetch the Hot and as our Soup, Mixed vegetables and Egg Rolls...both are bomb, but tonight my Love got the teriyaki Chicken and broccoli (he mentioned it would be perfect with carrots, onions, pea pods-- Men are silly.) I planned ahead and was craving seafood so I took a risk and ordered the spicy shrimp with mixed veg. I was worried it would be canned shrimp but lol and behold! It was fresh jumbo shrimp, perfectly cooked, broccoli, carrots, pea-pods, celery, onions, mushroom galore. A side of fried rice was more than enough for us to share and came with the meal. 10$ and quality. Customer service is on par. It's so important to support local business and families. We are definitely regulars. When we don't know what to make for supper we go straight to Star Wok!! Yum!!! read more

The service at this location is racist from every single worker/employee if you are black, brown or Latino, they will not take your money they will make every excuse not to serve you speak to you disrespectfully and make false claims that they're out of items/food that you'd like to purchase. seen their attitude changed, tremendously other ethnicities into their establishment to place orders. On this visit we ordered the lemon chicken, egg drop soup, fried wonton, egg rolls, mongolian beef, and chicken egg foo young, we were a little disappointed with our entrée's. The seasoning level was okay, however, the chicken was overcooked and there was just to much sauce. Our entrees weren't bad, however, they just weren't very good; there was nothing special Our meals were just okay, maybe I was expecting something more. I love Chinese food however, Star Womwouldn't be one of my first choices. But since there is a big selection on the menu, maybe the other entrée's are better tasting. read more

I ordered delivery from here 2 nights ago and the food was great. I ordered the fried chicken and pork short ribs in orange sauce. The fried chicken was a little bit dry but still tasty. Their rice was actually the weakest point of the meal because it was really dry. The delivery came about 5 mins late and the driver apologized immediately. I'm assuming he got lost in my neighborhood, which was no big deal. I found it charming that he seemed to sweat the 5 mins more than I did. Overall though, I would order from here again. Pros: Good serving sizes, good price, tasty food. Cons: Long wait time for the delivery (60 mins from order time to delivery time), dry rice. read more

They are fast, courteous, and give huge portions of food. Today there was a mistake made on my order for the first time ever!
