I think good Chinese food is hard to find in the valley. UNTIL NOW! We tried this place because they had coconut shrimp on the menu, weird decision but outside of the infamous seafood place where else can you find it. They were AMAZING. So the next day we came for dinner, because shrimp that good, hot mustard to die for? The food had to be good, and it was! We got coconut shrimp again, chicken potstickers, lo mein, pork fried rice, and orange chicken. All amazing, we cleaned our plates. It will now be my go to, hands down. The staff were all so friendly and informative. Now, when I came to leave this review, I was SHOCKED at the score. I don't understand it because it was out of the park for me. This is my second visit in 6 mos. I leave in N. Phoenix so it's a bit of a drive. I had the Mongolian beef lunch.. so good. I got the Spring tolls too. So yummy! Real Fresh vegetables not that white pasty filling many Chinese restaurants are using to fill spring rolls. Everything tasted so good. I wish I lived closer I'd be here several times a week! The rice was fresh and very hot. The Mongolian beef had the rice noodles and lite garnish of green onion- the way it's supposed to be!! And the beef was so good. Too many Chinese restaurants are using the cheap glued beef but not here!! I will be driving over more often!!! Very clean restaurant. Very friendly and helpful servers too. China Grill is amazing. Grabbed some takeout from China Grill for dinner one night. Service was quick, the inside during pickup was clean and the food was delicious! We picked up an order of teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and an egg roll. The chicken on both was great and not full of fat or weird. The flavors were perfect. The egg roll was stuffed and served with a house made hot mustard. It was so good with the sweet and sour. Overall, a great stop for a Chinese food fix. I score on the food first. Atmosphere is typical for a local Chinese restaurant. Most importantly it was kept clean enough. Food and service were great. That excites me since I don't know of many good Chinese restaurants. We only had two dishes off the lunch menu. I ordered the chicken curry with dark meat which came with soup and an egg roll. We tried the hot and sour soup which was very tasty. The egg roll was really one of the best I have had in a long time. My curry dish was so good that my husband ended it up wanting more of mine. He ordered the beef and broccoli bowl which we felt had very good flavor. For the same price ($8.99) I felt my lunch plate was the better deal. I look forward to bringing my family back. read more

I just called to have food delivered from China Grill, as we have done for years, and was told I have to order on-line. I went to their website, which is the same as it has always been, and there was no option to order. I called back and they walked me through using beyondmenus.com. So, I enter my order and there is a tip automatically added, and, from what I could see, not an optional field, or anything that could be edited. Also included a nearly $7.00 delivery fee, and a minimal support local fee. My almost $55 order became an almost $80 order. I backed out. Not going to play this game. I am ready supporting local by ordering. We have ordered delivery for years, and always tip the delivery person in cash. Hope your changes are profitable. Personally, we are within minutes of other Chinese food restaurants and we will now order from others. read more

They are very friendly and go out of their way to make your visit memorable. A few musts when you come here: Potstickers, Spicy Won-Tons, all of the Chicken dishes (Kung Pao, General Tso, Orange Chicken), and their Soups. We also like their Plum Wine. Amazing food on christmas day. We got take out it was perfect. The chicken beast with with veggis were delightful.

To be honest I was a bit scared to try this place because of my past experience with other restaurants. I am so happy I gave them a try because it was all so delicious and it was pretty quick for the size of our order. It was also on Christmas so it was nice that they were open. We have since been back. All take out, so I can't really speak on the location but for pick up the food still gets there hot. We will definitely order again read more

I get mapu tofu every week or so. My kids love it and they are picky eaters. The staff recognize me as the mapu tofu guy now.
