Food was good. Service was great. We had the Kung Pao Chicken and Pork Lomein combination plates each for dinner. Again, both were decent / good, but there is better out there. The egg rolls were good as were the crab rangoons. Egg drop and hot and sour soups were both delicious. I was really wanting to give a good review. However in good conscience I can't. First, when food flies out of the kitchen unless than 5 minutes after ordering, it gives me pause to think of the food was all prepped with little to no cooking other than warming it up. I ordered moo goo gai pan and egg foo young. The moo goo was fairly tasteless with so much sauce it was dripping off the platter. The egg foo young was fairly non existent with two small patties at the bottom of a deluge of brown sauce. The surroundings were pleasant enough. I was somewhat dumbfounded that in a nearly empty restaraunt that had few customers on a Friday night, we were seated right next to another couple in an all empty restaraunt. I used to go to this restaurant when I moved here in 2015. It was fairly good then. As the years went on it became not very good. And Then not good at all. Quite awful. I stopped going there. Just tried it again today, May 12, 2026. Still BAD. Tasteless. Panda Express tastes better. How these people stay in business is a mystery to me. So disappointed...again. Julie was incredibly sweet and attentive, she truly enhanced our experience and made it memorable. She made us laugh and even helped me feed my baby! Ok just a quick update on this place. This USED to be my favorite Chinese place. It was my "go to" spot for good food, friendly and fast service, and inexpensive prices. WELL this all changed. Not sure when because I have been here in a few months. I picked up some takeout and wow! Didn't recognize any of the staff and the prices jumped!! My usual (I order the same things almost every time) order was around $65-70, it was now $95!! Got home and the food wasn't as good as before. Maybe it's because the price change left a bad taste in my mouth. lol. Anyways, I won't be back anytime soon. They just priced out this customer. I don't mind paying for quality meals but Chinese??? I went here for dinner tonight and split the Mongolian Beef with my parents. It was legitimately the best Mongolian Beef I have ever had! I will be trying this again the next time I'm in town. We've had this waitress before and she was ok but last night none of us left her a tip which I've never done before. The food was great as usual but she told of the house wine was $16 or $18 for a bottle and was charged 24.99 without an explanation. when we went to pay she shoved the cashier out of the way and then she said she told us it was between $18 and$20 but proceeded to charge us the full amount. We had to get up 3 times to get mustard, the food and the 2go boxes Never checked on us and it took an 1 1/2 ours. read more

I ordered two specials, chicken and vegetables, and beef broccoli both with fortune cookies, egg roll, and puff pastry to go. I tried to eat it at home, 5 minutes later (I live very close) and was disgusted at the fatty beef, greasy sauce and egg roll, and chicken pounded beyond recognition and taste. In my anger, I threw it out in the GARBAGE, even spitting out the few pieces in a napkin. The more I thought about it, the more I decided to return the next day and spoke to the manager. First off let me say that the staff is A+ and the ambiance is dark, serene and quiet! It is very comfortable. Maybe it was just visit but the food was just not great to be honest. I had a dinner combination of egg foo young with shrimp and it was so ungodly salty like you wouldn't believe. It's the sauce I get it but my goodness! The shrimp were good and the vegetables were okay. It started with an egg drop soup and that was the highlight of the meal, fried rice had no taste or vegetables in it. The egg role was okay my partner thought it was disgusting, crab puff was advertised as "imitation crab meat" at least they are up front and honest, credit for that ! But it tasted ghastly with a hint of sweetness. My partner had the beef and broccoli and was not overly happy. I have eaten at this restaurant many times. I decided today to come and eat at your restaurant. I was off work and came around 1:00 PM this afternoon. I was very rudely seated by the same waitress that waited on me. When I walked into the restaurant, she looked at me like I was some kind of homeless person that shouldn't be eating out. That kind of ruined my entire lunch I was dressed very casually in sweatpants and a shirt, but being my day off from work I was pretty comfortably dressed. She brought my soup to the table on a very cold small plate, which is never happened whenever I've eaten there before. Made the soup cold . Never have I had something very hot served on something very cold. I unfortunately ended up spilling some of the soup on the table by accident so she saw that came back with another bowl of soup and the crunchy noodles that I asked for which she didn't bring at first. She returned with a new bowl of soup, nice gentleman had already wiped up and cleaned up the table. This waitress was very disrespectful. The food was not near as good as it usually is the green peppers were not crispy at all. There was no onions in it at all two pieces of pineapple. It was supposed to be sweet-and-sour chicken there were no carrots at all. It was just not good at all. If I was to write this on yelp or anywhere else, I definitely would've only gave this like two stars if that. I was very disappointed. There is a competition restaurant that is opening in January next month in the FRYS parking lot across the street I will be checking it out. I definitely will not be back to your restaurant.. I also go to the other Chinese restaurant right there on Union Hills at the light with the two dragons out front. I called after I got home to complain. I got the same waitress answer the phone. She told me to call back in a couple hours. If this kind of service continues I can almost promise people with not continue to eat at your restaurant. Especially seeing a restaurant review . We arrived on a Tuesday around 6-6:15 pm. We waited a few minutes before they could seat us. They placed us at a booth table where the booths were too close to the table so it was uncomfortable. We moved ourselves to the booth nearby with more space between the table and seat, but the seat cushion was worn out and uncomfortably bumpy. The waitress, Julie, was busy, and kept waiting on others before finally taking our order. Then we both waited an extremely long time for our food. The gentleman in a booth across from us, who came in after us, was almost done his dinner when ours finally arrived. My dinner partner ordered the Sizzling Seafood Platter. The menu said it was lobster, scallops, and shrimp with rice and vegetables. What came was a tiny 2 oz lobster tail, like a large shrimp size, a few very small shrimp, a few scallops. But, they also used a filler of Fake fishy Krab, to make the dish look larger. They had added a cup of FAKE CRAB aka Krab. Usually advertised as Krab. But, the menu did not have Krab listed as an ingredient. Krab (fake crab) is made up of various fish, not lobster, shrimp, or scallops). It tainted the dish. My partner put all of the fake Krab on a saucer. Showed it to Julie, our server. She told us it was described on the menu as being in the dish. We asked to see the menu. Showed her it was NOT advertised as having the fake Krab in the dish. She said she was taking the menu to the kitchen to talk with them. She then proceeded to try and avoid us. Finally, she came to a table nearby, and we called her over to show her the large amount of fake Krab that had been put into the dish to make it appear a larger portion. She kept saying it was just decoration. Something extra we were getting in addition to everything else. We pointed out that if Krab had been listed along with the Lobster, shrimp, and scallops on the menu it would not have been ordered. We asked for her to bring some of the other shrimp, scallops to replace the large portion of fake Krab. She kept repeating over and over the same thing. Just decoration, something extra. Finally she said other people eat it and she didn't care if we did not like it. We said what they did was false advertising. She said she didn't care, and that they had enough customers... Julie was EXTREMELY RUDE!! We do not recommend this place. They also charged $3.00 for some dried, thin, noodle sized wonton chips. Which they previously brought with the meal. A small pot of black tea also costs $4.00. They charge for every little thing, and give fake crab (aka Krab some kind of fish made to look like crab) in their dishes as filler in seafood combination meals. After reading years if other reviews Julie is mentioned over and over as being so incredibly RUDE. She claimed to be one of the managers. According to other customer complaints we've read from years of low rated reviews this place does not care how the food is served, cooked, described, and the video on their website is years old. They are definitely not a "Good Cina" restaurant anymore. I did get sick the previous time we ate here. I was concerned about getting sick again. Hopefully that's not going to happen, but too early to tell! They are in an area where many people are used to going for grocery shopping, Fry's across the street, and to pick up something from the CVS next door. So, for many its just convenient. But, it's such a disappointment so often to so very many! Read the one star and two star reviews. They just don't care. And, apparently Julie can get away with being rude to customers all day long, years on end and they won't fire her...Read all the low star reviews on Google, and Trip Adviser too. The food is really good we come here at least twice a month. The Long Island is the best I had. My favorite dish here is the orange chicken, and the cream puffs. Service is quick and the servers are nice, sometimes get a little to personal that makes it kind a awkward. Maybe they are just trying to be friendly. The places has plenty of sitting tables, the floor could benefit from tile instead of carpet, or often cleaning. Also, I noticed clutter in the server stations and in the back of the restaurant towards the north side of the building. read more

We had a reservation for Christmas Eve at 630pm that was made 4 weeks before Christmas and we arrived on time and still had to wait 1 hour then was told at 730pm it will be another hour because there are other people a head of us and they close at 9pm. Relax in a cozy updated but old style type of Chinese restaurant. Subdued lighting, soft music, a phenomenally unique carved wooden table, and a drink mixing station off to the side set the mood upon entering. Playing into the nostalgic feel, I expected a little bowl of fried wonton strips to dip into duck sauce and hot mustard, but alas, none came. For a few cents, they should consider adding that--it's akin to tortilla chips at Mexican restaurants--something to nosh on while deciding what to order. Same for offering up some hot tea in those little pots and tiny cups--I mean, if we're conjuring the Good Old Days, why not? I ordered a classic Mai Tai, although I wish the straw would've been paper instead of plastic, but the paper parasol was classic paper and wood: yay! It was perfect. Our server, Julie, was attentive and so warm and friendly that our entire experience was enhanced. PoPo Platter was my nibble-my-meal memory lane choice. There's something about making your skewered treats sizzle on a tiny hibachi grill! The filled wontons could've used more filling and the "crab" would more honestly be labeled "krab." The selection would be enhanced by adding in traditional shrimp toast by replacing one of the filled wonton items. My partner's pork, chicken, shrimp combo meal satisfied him and he said he'd gladly order it again. For some reason, we didn't get fortune cookies, but I thought of it on the way out and asked host Zack who quickly handed me 2 in cellophane. When we got out to the car, I handed one over and then looked down at mine and it was only broken bits with no fortune. It was not served in the regular Chinese takeout boxes, but in a styrofoam container. Panda Express makes better food. Good China used to be good. They have gone downhill. read more
