My wife and I popped into Big Buddha for a Sunday lunch and left seriously impressed -- this place delivers! The lunch specials are a total win: big portions, great value, and food that actually tastes freshly made (not just reheated takeout vibes ). We started with their sweet-and-sour soup, which was the perfect warm-up -- tangy, a little spicy, and so comforting that I kind of wished it came in a bigger bowl. For mains, I went with the Mongolian Beef, and wow -- tender beef, a rich sweet-savory sauce, and a bed of crispy noodles that added the perfect crunch. My wife ordered the Shrimp with Vegetables, and her plate was loaded with plump shrimp and colorful veggies swimming in a garlicky brown sauce that was seriously delicious. Each lunch combo came with rice and an egg roll -- simple, classic, and just right. The service was quick and friendly, and the whole vibe was relaxed -- a great little spot for an easy, satisfying meal. Pro tip: Go for the lunch specials -- you'll get a full spread without breaking the bank, and trust me, you won't leave hungry!

This restaurant was better than I expected it to be! The food is pretty americanised but it is tasty. We came here on a Wed afternoon and it was packed! There is lots of parking in the area. They also have patio seating but I'm glad we sat inside because it was super hot outside during the afternoon. They have lunch specials which are total worth the price. We got the chicken egg foo young with egg drop soup lunch special and the schezwan string bean with pork and hot and sour soup lunch special. Every lunch special comes with fried rice, an egg roll and a crab puff. The egg rolls were very good. The crab puff was ok, we would have liked more crab stuffing. The soups were excellent. You won't go wrong with either choice. The fried rice was average. I have had better fried rice in other Chinese restaurants. The entrees themselves were very good. The chicken egg foo young is a Chinese omelet presented as a cutlet of chicken and egg, bean sprouts, slightly breaded and smothered in brown gravy sauce. The portion was big and I couldn't even finish one of the cutlets, so we took most of my entree home. The schezwan string bean and pork entree was delicious. Husband finished every last bit of it. For the price of around $12 per special, we were satisfied and delighted by the meal. The ambiance is pretty casual but the restaurant is nice. We definitely recommend checking them out if you are in the area.

My new fav Chicken Egg Foo Young. Each lunch special comes with choice of soup, egg roll and a crab rangoon.

Yes even with all the restaurants popping up at Prasada, this lil place still packs them in at lunch time. Great lunch menu, with quick service and the place has a cozy feel to it that my family and I also enjoy. But get here nlt 12:15- 12-30 or you could be waiting for a table.

They have really good lunch special menu for very reasonable pricing. Inside is pretty big and nice, cashier was really friendly. But the food .. I got Mongolian beef, it was super salty. I couldn't finish it. I still will give another chance and pick some other item on the menu, if it's also bad then it's just how it is.

Big Buddha was just OK. Now, we ordered delivery so I can't speak to the ambiance or staff. The food was OK. Nothing wrong with it, and nothing special either. I guess I would order again as long as there isn't another run of the mill chinese place that is closer.

Best. Chinese. Food. Ever. Soups, entrees, appetizers, drinks. Everything is amazing. Sam is the owner I believe and I love how he recognizes my boyfriend and I when we come in and always greets us with a smile. Love the atmosphere, it's is quiet and peaceful. Support your local businesses!

Went today, Monday at noon-this place is packed. Standing room only. Ordered a lunch special to go, took apx 15 minutes. Ordered orange chicken lunch, delicious. Great crunch, great flavor, delicious rice. 1st time there, will definitely be back. It was loud due to all the people but not too loud. Host was moving people as quickly as possible.

One of my favorite Chinese spots in Arizona! Closest to "authentic" Chinese food I could find! There were hardly any good authentic Chinese spots in Arizona so I was so stoked when I actually came across here and it was GOOD Parking can be slightly difficult because they have a small parking lot Service was very attentive and friendly It is very small inside so not much seating The menu has so much variety, whether you want rice dishes or noodles, they have so many different kinds you can choose from! They even have lunch specials (11am-3pm) and there are 20+ options all ~$15. Got the Popo Platter ($13.75) and there were egg rolls, fried shrimp, beef skewers, BBQ pork, and crab puffs. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! Enough for 2+ to share! What a wonderful appetizer! I would say it's 4/5 The chicken chow mein ($12.75) and the noodles were so crispy and it was loaded with chicken and veggies! Super yummy without being too salty. The portion was pretty big! This was a 4/5 Orange chicken ($13.75) was mediocre, not the crispy fried orange chicken I'm used to. It was more like pan fried chicken covered with orange sauce. It was pretty underwhelming.. I would say it's 3/5 Definitely would recommend and return

As far as the west valley is concerned, this is a pretty solid Chinese restaurant. It's always tough to compare to restaurants from back where they are from but I like this place. The spicy boiled won ton on the appetizer menu is really good. I can make a meal of it along with another appetizer like an egg roll or fried shrimp. We also really enjoy the orange peel chicken.

You order, pay at the counter and grab your beverage from the refrigerator. Your meal is packed in styrofoam so you either take out or eat in at one of the few tables inside. Parking is very easy because they are at the end of a strip mall in a big parking lot. Our food was very fresh. Portions were very large. The chicken in our dishes was masterfully moist and very tender. The food is a very good value if you like it. We ordered the yui shan chicken and the garlic chicken combos (only around $1. more to get soup, crab puff, egg roll and an upgrade from white rice to fried rice.) Based on only trying two dishes my conclusion is that they serve Arizona Style American Chinese Food. It is far less complex, less flavorful, and much less spicy than east coast American take out Chinese Food. It's not bad food in anyway so if you are from Arizona it is very good food. We started eating at the restaurant but I got the idea that I could take the food home and improve it for my taste. The food stayed piping hot and it did taste much better with just a spoonful of chili crisp added more flavors and some needed heat. The people working there seemed very nice and the restaurant looked sparkling clean. 3 stars is a positive review and means A-OK on Yelp. Give this place a try if you are good with Arizona Style Take Out Chinese Food.

Their food is consistently the same no matter how busy it is, most recently during a heavy dinner hour - prime time. Yes, expect to wait, we started the 30 plus wait time out side and then inside in the small waiting area. It's not fancy by any means. TVs with a game on, servers moving about, and a steady stream of to go orders. We had King Pao Chicken, Beef with broccoli and Mongolian Beef. Also Wongs fried rice & appetizer plate and soups. I had hot & sour soup, absolutely delicious, a little spicy as it should be. My Mongolian Beef was probably the best prepared, very tender beef and flavorful I've had, and always consistently the same each visit. The other entrees severed were equally flavorful, tender meats and served fresh & hot. Servers are kind and knowledgeable of each dish and offer suggestions of their favorites. The seating area is in need of updating but very clean, as are the restrooms. But it's about the quality, quantity & consistency that keeps me returning. Just go!

We walked into a COMPLETELY EMPTY restaurant. There was a man folding napkins and he said "sit anywhere!" Ooookay, so we sat at a booth, the RUDE waitress comes over to take our orders, "what you wanna order!?" Super aggressive! We order our usual. During that time I realized that it would be easier to eat at a round table so we could use the lazy Susan in the middle to easily reach our food. So we got up and we're going to move when the man who was folding napkins said "no! Wait for your waitress!" Waitress comes back and literally YELLED at us! Saying, "no!!! Sit at the booth!!" I tried explaining that the table would be too small and she continued to yell at me. I was on the verge of tears and didn't understand why she was so upset. Since we did not eat or drink anything, my husband said "let's go!" So we excused ourselves and left. The man folding napkins stood up and ran to the exit and started recording us. Not only was I scared, but my son started crying and my 70 year old mother began wheezing and breathing fast... they literally ran out of the restaurant as we were getting into our car and kept yelling & recording! I used to order $150-200 food EVERY MONTH!!! However we ALWAYS did pick up. Had I known how TERRIBLE THEIR SERVICE IS, I would neeeeeever have contributed to them!!! Absolutely horrible horrible hooooorible service! DO NOT GO HERE!! There are plenty other places to eat with better service!!! Huge pass and will never ever eeever return
