First off customer service was great, the young lady at the counter greeted us as soon as we walked in. The place is nice and clean but the bathroom was under construction. I ordered C25 which was the shrimp in garlic sauce. I assumed getting the platter would be a better deal than adding add ons. As soon as I received my food, I was thinking, this is awfully light for a combination platter. When I got home, I was so disappointed. Not only is the portions small, but they use containers with individual slots that I wouldn't even use for meal prep. I traveled from Buckeye here and never again. The food was bland, and no type of seasoning whatsoever. The sauce was thin and the shrimp was lying on top which was about 4 of them. There's no way that this is an authentic Chinese restaurant. I put it in a bowl and there's no way that they are charging this as a platter. I do not recommend this restaurant based off flavor and portions. Highly disappointed. This was our second time coming here and based off that experience I would have rated Zheng's better, I had high hopes for my next visit. My favorite dishes use shrimp as the main protein and one of my favorite Chinese dishes is Honey Walnut Shrimp, I'm so happy I didn't order it be I ordered the shrimp lo mein and was very very disappointed. Honestly, this place was a letdown on uber. The portions are ridiculously small for what they charge. I ordered the Spicy Shrimp, which was over sixteen bucks, and they gave me six shrimp. Six. For that price, I expected at least a decent serving but nope, everything here is single serving. When you order Chinese food anywhere else, you usually get a full plate loaded with meat and a side of rice. Not here. The portions are smaller than Panda Express, and that's saying a lot. Even the chicken dishes were stingy. I kept waiting for the flavor to make up for it, but it didn't. The food wasn't terrible, just bland and forgettable. For how much they charge, you'd think they'd at least season things properly or give you more than half a tray's worth of food. 6/7 of the dishes were half portioned on the small plates, half rice half meat. As someone who casually enjoys Chinese takeout, this one's a solid 3.5/10. Edible, sure. Honestly, Panda does it better for way less. read more

I ordered $60 in take out. I asked for a side of teriyaki sauce - for the teriyaki chicken ordered. Instead of providing a side of sauce they called me twice on the phone to extort me for $3 + tax for a A SIDE OF SAUCE for the exact entree I ordered. That is how cheap these Chinese food people are. Think about that when considering portion size, speed of service, and quality of their food (they obviously aren't helping customers or cooking food when they are on the phone trying to sell a small side of sauce for $3 + tax for your teriyaki chicken). If the employees and managers were reasonable, throwing in a side of sauce in for a $60 order would prevent a poor rating and alerting customers of the cheapness, service, and frustration dealing with these Chinese food people. Zheng Kitchen, if you would like me to remove this post.... I'll need more than a small side of teriyaki sauce for the inconvenience. Isn't it more inconvenient calling customers and worrying about mediocre restaurant reviews than giving some sauce for teriyaki chicken for a paying customer of a large order of take out. I do like the large (although expensive) egg drop wonton soup. Highly recommend. The "sweet and sour" items are plain btw, they give you a packet of sweet and sour sauce on the side to souse your plain meat in, it's not pre sauces, you pour it on yourself. Great spot for Chinese food if you need a quick fix and can't make it out to the East Valley for Asian food. I always get the same thing here (General Tsao's Chicken and Young Chow Fried Rice) and it's been consistently good every time. Comes out fast and flavorful. Some of the freshest, most unpretentious-yet-amazing Chinese food I've had. Don't let this place fool you. It doesn't look like much, and you may not have a romantic date there, but it's the best King Pao anywhere. The fried tofu is served in a tasty brown sauce that is flavorful and perfectly savory. Had to try this restaurant out as there isn't too many Chinese food restaurants out in this area. The reviews are kinda all over the place and I'm pretty surprised they had a lot of bad ones. Called my food in and it was done in less then 10 minutes. The service was really good as well. Everything tasted really good . The portion sizes could be bigger with the amount they charge you for a combination. Also , the Lo Mein is missing just a little hint of flavor , but it's nothing some sauce on the side can't fix lol. Will most likely get this restaurant again as it was pretty good! read more

Let me start with... I ordered thru Uber Eats. This place is absolutely amazing! I had the happy family which I eat often in my travels. This one was one of ID not the best! They actually use cut up crab legs which was a nice touch! Great flavor and good size portion! I also had Mongolian beef and same goes for it! Perfect flavor great portion and did not disappoint! Close it off (or start it off) with fried dumplings and it's all ya need! I finished the Happy family and have some Mongolian for lunch tomorrow. We were craving some Chinese food as it had been a while and we hadn't tried a place around the Goodyear area since coming down here in May. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, on time, and the place was clean and serviceable. We had the General Tao's chicken, cashew chicken, and pork fried rice, all off of which were a 4 or better. The reason for 3.5 stars primarily falls on the "crab rangoon", they called it something else, and the egg rolls. These components of the Chinese food experience must be great to get 4+ stars. Unfortunately, they were not hot and crispy, instead the egg roll was downright cold and not fully cooked and the crab rangoon was just okay. I did enjoy the rest of the meal immensely and I will certainly try them again as I know the timing can sometimes play into these things. read more

The food is really good, I just ordered the orange chicken (which is white breast meat) and the shrimp in lobster sauce had a great flavor, but there were only 6 pieces of shrimp for the dinner portion which I think is just too little compared to the noodles. Since when does EFY contain the entire salad bar from Sweet Tomatoes? Hot wilted leaves?? Gross!! It's all leafy greens and bean sprouts. Teriyaki beef was basically terrible pieces of meat swimming in a watery soy sauce broth with onions and green peppers - worst teriyaki ever!
