We stopped by here to have a cóctel and ended up trying other dishes from their menu. They start with complementary chips and salsa, which the salsa is flavorful. They also give you a complementary shrimp consomé. We had their plain oysters which tasted fresh, and we also had the ones that had shrimp and sauce and it was a bit too much. Lots going on! The pulpo cóctel was a good portion and it tasted good. The filete de pescado was also breaded very lightly and tasted fantastic. The service was good, the lady checked on us several times and ensured we had everything we needed. My only recommendation would be for them to lower the volume of the music they had playing, it was so loud that it was difficult to hear the conversation we were trying to have. read more

Well let say this !! It sucked pretty bad and I don't usually talk bad about the waitress or cooks but they really made me pretty upset. My in laws order came out and we're done by the time I got my food. My wife's came in a box to go due to it taking so long, the waitress could just let us know what was going on but did not until she seen I was pissed!! My Shrimp enchiladas pretty much sucked? My family can eat at most fast-food chains, but I chose not to. They found their food, but I was the holdout. I lifted my eyes and caught a glimpse of Mariscos in a random strip-like mall. I said I wanted to eat there. I walked into the restaurant to my delight, and music from a live performer greeted me. There were several families seated in booths. I picked up the menu and found the perfect meal a Fish burrito. It was scrumptiously delicious, pure, authentic Mexican food. I savored every bite. I could go there and just order the rice and be satisfied. I highly recommend Marisco Camaron Pelao. It will be an experience you will not easily forget. When You visit, tell them Omar sent you. Talk about authentic! I cannot wait until my parents come to visit. They are going to love it here I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it was delish. There was so much food on the plate! Hubby ordered three fish tacos and he was very happy. Our waitress didn't speak a word of English but she did a great job communicating and the food came out perfect. Service was great. Drastic improvement from my last visit. The shrimp cocktail is very flavorful and the shrimp are tender and plentiful. It is very easy to overlook shrimp and many other mariscos restaurants are guilty of this sin. I am still not in love with their prices. Not good at all. The ceviche had barely any shrimp in it. The ceviche was watery and no flavor. Loc Cameron's momias were over fried bacon and also no flavor. The beer was hot! Very attentive customer service here! Our group had ostiones sencillo, ostiones pelao style, and tacos dorados de marlin. The oysters tasted really fresh and the smoked marlin tacos dorados with cheese were very tasty. The michelada was on point but I wasn't real happy about the $11 price when it came with just a half glass of michelada mix. Overall great place and I would visit again when in the area. read more

I would not recommend this restaurant first time there , I got food poisoning I ordered the fish taco plate. I ended up in urgent Care , I had never experienced such pain ,wasn't able to work for 3 Days didn't get better until the 5th or 6th day I contacted the owner Alma to let her know. The service at Mariscos Cameron Pela'o is incredible! We came for pick up, and they were so generous and kind, they set us up with a great margarita mix to go!!! They're beans are some of the best I've had, and their shrimp tacos are succulent and well seasoned. Definitely worth checking out if you stop in Goodyear :) read more

Wow! What a treat. This is as authentic as it gets. Food was excellent with great flavor. It's a small family ran business and only one person working the entire front of the house. This caused a little delay on service. However she was very friendly and attending us as much as possible. If they could have one more person helping in front there's no reason why this wouldn't be a five star. We will definitely be back. read more

I love this place, they have good food and awesome service but one thing that chaps my hide is that they always forget my silverware and I have to wait in the waitress till she comes back and her response is ...is everything alright???talk about adding insult to injury. The restaurant is very small and well decorated. Nice new tables and dishes. The room was a little warm, but that was OK. It wasn't unbearable. The food took about 30 minutes to come out and was delivered by another server. Our server (blonde hair) never returned, no refills, and our dirty dishes were not picked up. Basically she came by when we were done eating. All servers seemed extra attentive to the tables with only men. A lot of socializing going on in the back. The food: -The aguachile tostada was the best dish. -The shrimp crunchy taco was okay, the sauce on top seemed more fitting for a sushi plate than a shrimp taco. Something about the flavor didn't make a lot of sense. -the breaded fish and shrimp tacos okay, they're doing way too much with the seasonings in the breading. -out of oysters at 1 pm on a Friday. Overall not too authentic compared to other seafood restaurants. Trying too hard with the flavors. Uninviting experience. If service had pep in their step I would give more grace.
