I kept getting TikTok's of seafood boils, so my big back ahh had to find a spot to satiate this craving. I found Bag O Crab. The moment I sat down I was serviced, by the prettiest and funny waitress. She wrote my order down, and the food came out within 15 mins. I went with her recommendations and it was amazing. 10/10, it's a shame I didn't get her name. Thank you for the onion rings! read more

Came on a Sunday around 7:10 PM, and there was no wait, which was nice. The food was okay overall; flavor is mid, not impressive at all. The shrimps were really big, which was a plus. They also have a good value if you order one of the combo meals. There's a downside, the bathroom was pretty messy, with paper towels scattered all over the floor. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but when it comes to seafood boils, I think there are better places I'd would choose to go. read more

This seafood boil spot deserves more than 5 stars. From the quality, service, flavor, and price point, everything was absolutely on point. Our server Alyssa was amazing. She was very informative about the menu and gave great recommendations that did not disappoint. You can really tell the staff cares about the experience. While we were there, I overheard several regulars talking about how addicted they are to the food and service, and after eating here I completely understand why. We started with the calamari and sweet potato fries, which were both perfectly cooked and a great way to kick things off. Then came the garlic noodles... and wow. They were fantastic. You can taste that they use fresh garlic, and it makes all the difference. For the seafood, we ordered shrimp and snow crab. Everything was fresh, juicy, and flavorful without being overly salty like many seafood boils can be. Every bite was satisfying. Great food, great service, and great value. This place definitely earned its reputation, and we will absolutely be back. Highly recommend if you love a good seafood boil. read more

We usually go to the location here in Tucson where we always get great food and great service and where we live at, but drove up to the Phoenix location to meet a friend who came from out of town. The food was still good. The service really lacked. Normally they'll empty out the bags into your metal bin which they did not also very slow on getting refills on drinks and cleaning up the table.. when it came time to take food home they just brought the container which in the Tucson location they would've filled up and give you directions on how to reheat your food. I did speak to the person I assume was manager and told him some of the faults that should be improved read more

Based on so many positive reviews, I decided to try this place out against my common wisdom of not going to a seafood place in the middle of the desert. First, I have to emphasize that the service was excellent, and the waitress was very friendly and we were seated quickly . The bottom line is the seafood is very bland and not anything near a high-end cuisine. Anybody who is a seafood connoisseur will run from this place and never enter! The calamari was so overcooked, and It literally looked and felt like an extremely thick rubber band. The excessive amount of batter broke away whenever you took the first bite and all you had was the rubber band. The fried shrimp had no spice and again had massively excessive amount amounts of batter ..not tasty at all! The Cajun fish was an unusual fish, which was very flaky, but not cod. Perhaps some people would like the Cajun flavors, but I was not a fan. Sometimes the best way to assess food quality is just to see how you feel afterwards. I can tell you it was not a good feeling and we were craving to have any kind of dessert or coffee afterwards to just get rid of the taste and the feeling. Will definitely not repeat . With all of this said, on a Friday night this place was absolutely packed with a one hour and 45 minute wait . It seems like most people who go there love the drinks more so than the seafood. We are always excited to have a new restaurant to enjoy in the neighborhood and Bag O' Crab is no exception. Parking was great and as I entered, noticed a nice outdoor patio. The dining room was a little plain, with what few decorations there were, appearing to be afterthoughts. There was soft elevator-like music playing in the background. To me, the atmosphere should be much more upbeat, with a place like this. Everything was just so plain and unremarkable. We decided to get snow crab, shrimp and mussels. Also, we ordered the Korean wings. Now for drinks. When I go to similar places, I always enjoy a beer with the upbeat atmosphere and seafood. Unfortunately, while some Bag O' Crab restaurants offer spirits, this one does not. That was a big disappointment and alone will keep me from returning. I drink responsibly and don't need someone else to make moral decisions for me. Maybe they are waiting for a liquor license. The food was just meh and certainly no better than similar places. Because I don't like eating out of a bag, I asked for a plate and received a small paper plate. They did provide scissors to cut the crab open, which I didn't care for. I asked for a small fork to rip the legs open and to my amazement received a plastic fork. Without a decent fork, how do you get the meat out of the body where the legs connect? I have asked for similar at similar places and have always been accommodated. Last, the food was just okay. The Korean wings had a lot of what tasted like Tobasco, which made them taste not very Korean. The crab legs were too soft to break in half and were a little on the fishy side. I was forced to use the full-size scissors to access the meat. The one shining star was our server. She was happy and friendly. She was truly a delight have for dinner and the one reason that I would ever consider returning. Nothing at Bag O' Crab was terrible, but nothing made it special either. When you spend 100-$150.00 for dinner, it should be something a little more special. They are new, so we'll keep an eye on them! read more

For a new establishment in the area, our visit was great! I feel like it usually takes places a bit to get acquainted with everything but the food and service were great. We ordered garlic noodles which needed a little bit more flavor, however with the sauce we added on the side it definitely added to it. We also ordered headless shrimp with lemon pepper seasoning and the flavor was good, I prefer it tasting more like lemon but still enjoyed it. We would have liked more options in terms of amount to order. You can only order by the pound for head on shrimp or 3/4 of pound for headless, no half pound option. read more

This place is amazing and better than any other spot I've been to for a seafood boil! I came here with my mom on a Monday around 6 PM for dinner. It was pretty empty at first, which was nice, but it started getting busier around 7 PM. The food was soooo fresh and flavorful :) On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, and the service was outstanding. We were looking for somewhere to eat dinner and came across this location. I've never seen this restaurant and soon realized it's fairly new. The place looks way bigger from outside than it is. There was no wait when we arrived and the hostess greeted us with smiles. We were quickly seated, given menus and drink orders taken. We chose the #2 boil with crab and shrimp. We also ordered gumbo and clam chowder. Our server was great our entire visit. Our drinks arrived in plastic cups. Not my davorotr. The tables were covered in plastic which I expected for the boil and easy clean up, but plastic cups yuck. The soup came out next with you guessed it plastic bowls and utensils. For the price I wasn't expecting to use plastic items to eat and drink. Location was clean and food was delicious. The gumbo was good but the clam chowder was amazing. We also enjoyed the boil. I came here because I kept seeing it all over TikTok and was really excited to try it, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. The onion rings were actually good, but the seafood itself was not. We got the Atomic sauce, and it had a very unpleasant taste that I just couldn't get past. I can't quite pinpoint what it was, but it tasted really off to me. 10/10 experience Went on a Sunday evening - no wait and service was extremely fast. Food was out fast and tasted amazing. My whole table got boil bags and we were all ever satisfied with the amount of food, the great flavor, and price of everything. Staff were nice, however it was down hill after I took my first sip of none purified water. I ordered the shrimp po boy, fish po boy and 2 orders of gumbo. Had high hopes but after I took my first bit I knew I made the wrong decision by making bag o crab my first choice for dinner. Owner stop penny pinching and take the gumbo, shrimp/fish po boy off the menu. It's the worst in town are make it a certified bit also cook some real fish I'm a disappointed unsatisfied customer. Bag O Crab turned into one of those meals you regret halfway through chewing. We ordered Combo Three for $65, expecting a decent spread, and instead got shorted on almost everything that should've made it worth the price. They were unexpectedly stingy with the shrimp, corn, and sausage, like they were serving samples instead of a full meal. The real kicker was the crab. Instead of crab legs, it was just one whole crab, and anyone who's ever eaten crab knows you get way less meat that way. Paying that much and getting less value made the whole order feel like a ripoff. On top of that, we were charged an extra $6 just for sauce on the side. All we wanted was a small container, nothing special, nothing extra, but apparently even something that simple comes with a surprise fee. For a grand opening, there were no specials, no deals, nothing to make customers feel welcomed or encouraged to come back. Most places use their grand opening to earn loyalty. Here, it felt like we were paying premium prices for bare-minimum effort. I even uploaded pictures of the menu so it's clear we weren't mistaken. For $65, this meal should've been satisfying and plentiful, not disappointing and overcharged. We walked out feeling like we paid far more than what we got. read more

We've been to bag O crab in Portland Oregon on 82nd ave and it was amazing! And this Goodyear location was almost spot on the same! Very delicious seafood ! The seasoning was delicious my lady got the Louisiana flavor and I got atomic sauce both very delicious! If you like spicy definitely get the spicer sauces like DYNAMITE & ON FIRE XX. Had a Lobster roll, $26 and the wife had fried Calamari for lunch today. We were very disappointed. The size of my Lobster roll was about the 1/2 size of a hot dog on a small bun. Came here on New Year's Eve hoping to end my year with some king crab. Was told they were out. Then they presumed to give me the smallest snow crabs I've ever seen in my life.
