Always great service as usual, haven't been back since before Covid-19 started I've seriously missed this coctel so bad & had to celebrate my friends birthday as well

This is a great restaurant the food is great

This is a great restaurant great food and drinks and my little baby. The atmosphere seems half restaurant and half sports bar.

The food is real good. Everything we had was delicious. Smoked marlin tacos, shrimp empanadas and the shrimp cocktail was awesome. Would definitely go again.

We waited for what seemed like forever for this place to open. So glad to have one so close to home. So far I've tried the grilled fish tacos/burritos, mixed fajitas, chicken quesadilla, carne asada tacos & toritos. All were ok. It is a traditional Mariscos restaurant & the portions are huge. They have a full bar & aren't cheap Mariscos. The Michalada's are really tasty & have a shrimp hitch hiker which is yummy. There is a mess of bottled hot sauces if you want more zing. The soup starter is a nice touch & also good. The chips & salsas are not good. I'd skip those entirely if I were you. The service on all 3 visits were consistently slow. Hopefully they work that out sooner than later.

This place is tucked in side a strip mall area behind a carnacaria and a sonic. The ambience was good, the woman helping us didn't speak good English but was nice and had another girl who did speak English come over to take our order. We did a to go order, I felt welcomed but put off a bit. They took my order just a ceviche tostada and I was waiting for so long I ordered a Michelada which tasted like the one Puerto Peñasco it was good. they use Maggie in their dishes. Every culture has their own twist in making ceviche I didn't really care for Maggie in it. I like the fresh crisp clear broth of my ceviche. It wasn't bad it was good. It's a place to check out for yourself. To each his own. Happy Eats!

By far the best michaladas/ seafood! Service is A+ plus, very friend and welcoming. The price is worth it.

First time here and we loved it! We've been looking for a great mexican restaurant and found it here. The salsa was very good and spicy. We had a burrito and it was freshly made. Also a taco de pescado and it was delicious! Been looking for a good fish taco and i finally found the place to get my fix. The hubby had ceviche de camaron which was bomb! A little pricey but well worth it! Definetely coming back!

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. I've been here before and would definitely come back again.

We were really excited to try Pier 88 Boiling Crab, especially since I love seafood and the Yelp…read morereviews made it seem promising. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown. We started with the clam chowder, which was extremely watered down and completely lacking in flavor. It tasted more like soup that had been diluted than a proper chowder. We also ordered shrimp with the Pier 88 seasoning, but the spices were barely noticeable--there was almost no seasoning at all, which is pretty disappointing for a place that markets itself around bold flavors. The service was just okay--nothing terrible, but nothing that made up for the food. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype, and we won't be returning.

For those complaining about the price, what do you expect?!?! Go to Filiberto's and be a negative Nancy if you want "cheap" food with no love, no intention, and no happiness. The fish tacos are TRUE CALI fish tacos. Fresh fish, FRIED PERFECTLY. The sneaky menu item is the wings. Fried perfectly and huge. Perfect for football season. Do not doubt this place, do not question whether or not you should come here. Quite literally everything is good, and the menu has such a variety that you'll find something that works for you, and yes it will be good. And I'm completely serious when I say this - if someone complains about the food they're wack.

I will try again, junkie that I am. BTW, I also ordered tacos for my husband. He is salt averse yet unbothered so maybe only my tacos got hit with an errant extra shake of salt. I left to make an appointment at the nearby nail salon and came back and they were still back there frying my fish - which, as mentioned, was chef's kiss otherwise. I loved my blue pineapple/coconut milk drink. This place is known for its beverages. Can't complain.

The regulars make it worth coming back as they're wholesome so the atmosphere alone is wonderful! Now we're hungry right so the live crawfish seasoning and heat options don't miss. I would say the "hot" for Cajun tastebuds would be mild it's always nice to know what fits they're oysters are purged and delicious as far as I can tell it's an all year option. Prices here are fair as the quality is good. Heard one person mention the sauce is good at pier 88 but everything else is better here...I'd take cooked to perfection than a little better sauce. You should too traveling or native. I'd post a pic of the crawfish (live it's in season) but they were perfectly cooked amazing flavor and I smashed the whole pound before I thought this place deserved the atta boy!

This is one of the best or the best Mexican seafood meals I have ever had. As a spicy lover I was over the moon with the ceviche, torre, and tacos durados. Two wimps in our group were not into seafood or not into spicy so they had quesadilla with fries or chicken tenders with fries. If this is you, just order a kids meal like a boss! One person had the soup and loved that as well. Maybe ask for your fries unseasoned if you don't want too much flavor. Can't wait to come back soon with friends because of the fun atmosphere and inventive salsas. A mariachi band might even make the rounds so bring your appetite, dancing shoes and a little cash.

The restaurant was half full (5 tables) 3 servers mostly inside of the kitchen area the whole time. Our drinks came after the food order was taken which took a while for how simple their menu is. The food took about 30 minutes to come out and was delivered by another server. Our server (blonde hair) never returned, no refills, and our dirty dishes were not picked up. Basically she came by when we were done eating. All servers seemed extra attentive to the tables with only men. A lot of socializing going on in the back. The food: -The aguachile tostada was the best dish. -The shrimp crunchy taco was okay, the sauce on top seemed more fitting for a sushi plate than a shrimp taco. Something about the flavor didn't make a lot of sense. -the breaded fish and shrimp tacos okay, they're doing way too much with the seasonings in the breading. -out of oysters at 1 pm on a Friday. Overall not too authentic compared to other seafood restaurants. Trying too hard with the flavors. Uninviting experience. If service had pep in their step I would give more grace.
