While the food is good, their customer service is horrible. We made the mistake of forgetting our card at the time of check out and the restaurant thought it was ok to continue using the card repeatedly, amounting to nearly 1,000 USD within the span of 3 days of consumption in one location. We tried to just get our money back from the establishment without escalating this situation in any other way, but the manager faulted the customer and said the card was present at the time of transactions.... Obviously it was because it had been left behind. Anyhow... the manager was never present at the time of calls or in person situations. They provided an email for communication and even through email the problem was never resolved. I would not recommend this place due the the bad customer service. read more

No flavor, tastes very generic. It was empty on a Friday night, which should have been my first clue. Then the Salsas should have been my second clue, they were gross, pure water no veggies and no flavor or kick. The red tasted like tap water. Oh and the chips were dirty/stained with salsa already. Not sure if they reuse the chips after people leave them. Gross. I ordered the Large shrimp cocktail and it was bland. I added salt, lemon, and tapatio just to make it taste better. The shrimp tasted like they bought them precooked and just dumped them in. No flavor. They were also not properly cleaned, they still had the guts/poop. So I recently visited this Marisco place, the last time I've been here was about 2 years ago. In the past I had come multiple times because I always enjoyed the chips/salsa, broth & the food it was always fresh & had good flavor. So I recently went with my sister & we honestly did not enjoy it all all. The salsa, ceviche tostada seemed to have no flavor & had that weird refrigerator taste like they made it the day prior & did not cover it. We waited for what seemed like forever for this place to open. So glad to have one so close to home. So far I've tried the grilled fish tacos/burritos, mixed fajitas, chicken quesadilla, carne asada tacos & toritos. All were ok. It is a traditional Mariscos restaurant & the portions are huge. They have a full bar & aren't cheap Mariscos. The Michalada's are really tasty & have a shrimp hitch hiker which is yummy. There is a mess of bottled hot sauces if you want more zing. The soup starter is a nice touch & also good. The chips & salsas are not good. I'd skip those entirely if I were you. The service on all 3 visits were consistently slow. This place is tucked in side a strip mall area behind a carnacaria and a sonic. The ambience was good, the woman helping us didn't speak good English but was nice and had another girl who did speak English come over to take our order. We did a to go order, I felt welcomed but put off a bit. They took my order just a ceviche tostada and I was waiting for so long I ordered a Michelada which tasted like the one Puerto Peñasco it was good. they use Maggie in their dishes. Every culture has their own twist in making ceviche I didn't really care for Maggie in it. I like the fresh crisp clear broth of my ceviche. It wasn't bad it was good. The spot was pretty good just seemed very crowded and because of Covid they didn't want to sit my family that visited out of state together in one whole table we were 12 and but there was another table with about 15 and like three kids the what to seemed owner had a huge attitude and said if you don't like it then go. The fact that we had family out of state was very upsetting because we've come here before with family who lived here and we had no problem again we were 13. Very unsatisfied. This is a new restaurant in this area, came here for lunch and ordered the shrimp cocktail which didnt have much flavor, however it was packed with shrimp. Went here on Sunday. The salsa was not good. Very watery and no flavor. The food took about an hour! I wish they would have told us that it was going to be a wait, the restaurant was not too full. Waitress went to our table only to give us our food. The shrimp ceviche was almost raw. I know that ceviche is cooked in lime juice and i understand that it might not be fully cooked. It was a busy day but that just shows a lack of management and that wasn't the first time that happened. Iv came here twice and I will never come here again I felt like I was being judged by all the waitresses iv never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant because of the staff. This is still a pretty new restaurant in the area but it is definitely a must try! Everything we order had plenty of seafood. Not like other places that are lots of veggies and little seafood. You definitely get what you pay for here, if not more. When you arrive they give you a cup of caldo. Almost like a preview of their food and man was it good. Great food and friendly service. Mainly Spanish speaking waitresses although a couple speak English. Although this spot is fairly new, it's probably one of my more favorite Mariscos spots. Clean looking. The food taste fresh (as fresh as desert Mexican seafood restaurants can get). The bacon wrapped, shrimp stuffed Jalapeño Popper appetizer is really good. The rojo agua chiles is my favorite (really really spicy). Nothing to knock them on so far so they get a deserved generous 5 from me. read more
