After falling in love with this place and coming here now on a weekly basis I'm done gate keeping cause EVERYONE needs to know how wonderful this place is!! Karla is our server most of the time and she's AMAZING! The Cucarachas are cooked perfectly and so full of flavor. My hubbie and I love spicy so if they have the "El Sinaloense" on special it's not to be missed! The BEST Mariscos in the Valley! The place does get busy but don't be afraid of the wait it's totally worth the hype! Get here ASAP!!

Monday morning after a long work week nothing I wanted more was some Tacos, Augachilies and a lemonade. Everything was amazing. The server Dulce was great, always checked on me, asked me about my week and my plans and it truly made my experience that much better. World Cup was on tv with the sound and I got to watch that as well

I've been eating this food since he started selling out of his van--and it was amazing. Then I tried it again once he upgraded to a food trailer, and honestly, I wasn't that impressed. But fast forward to the other day... wow. Probably the best mariscos in the Valley. All the flavors are distinct. Not a single dish tasted the same--which is rare for most mariscos spots, where everything tends to blur together. Not here. The torre was different from the ceviche, which was different from the cóctel. Even the limonada was crazy good. The service was great. We walked in with a group of seven. They told us it would be a 30-minute wait, but they managed to seat us in under 10 by rearranging tables to fit our group. Super accommodating. The vibe in the restaurant was perfect--great music, people talking and just having a good time. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat, I suggest getting it to go. The waitstaff were super friendly and quick on their feet. I'll definitely be coming back to this spot--no questions asked. It's officially on my must-have list in AZ. Trust me cuz yo gurl does. I went there for the first time with my in-laws. Didn't realize it was just down the street from my house so I've been missing out. The food is incredible. Very refresh for mariscos in the desert. Very deep menu with extra on a board inside that you would not see on the menu. The service was really good. They always come by every five minutes or so. Inside the restaurant was very nice and clean. Also very cold, which I enjoy and it's also good for the food as well. Can't wait to come back but with my wife next time.

First time here, decided to try because the great ratings! I do see what people mean by the service. We were given our chips and salsa but were waiting for drinks and by the time we got our water we had finished the chips. Food was delish. Our fave was the tacos dorados de Camaron. The tostada was a camaron mixto, both shrimps were juicy and full of flavor. Worth the try, be ready for spice! The Perla drink was delish , it reminded us of our beach vaca in Mexico! We plan to bring family when they visit, they will love it! The chef/owner served us our drinks. He was friendly and inviting.

This was one of the best meals I've had and I would've went back the next day if I could. The aguachiles and ceviche were flavorful and delicious. The oysters were fresh and had a great taste. The whole meal with my friend was one of the best with all we ordered and I'm super happy the 50min drive was worth it. Definitely coming back

So the food was great here as it usually is but I was a little disappointed to see on my receipt that I was charged for chips and never told about it and that I asked for a wedge of lemon for my water and was charged for it as well $0.89 for a small wedge of lemon and $1.25 for chips I never asked for. These things are a little excessive At least let customers know what they are being charged for

Id suggest to call in for your order of Cajun shrimp (must pay over the phone when placing order otp) because it does take about 25-30mins for them to prepare this dish. This sauce is a spicy garlic & they weren't shy of any garlic, this sauce didn't need anything added, I wish I boiled an egg to dip in this sauce . Mhmmmm I want this dish now

The place was packed but we waited patiently and glad we did. Food took a while but that was a good thing because they make everything fresh and made to order. I had the shrimp coctel (cocktail), the caldo mariscos (hot soup) and the Baja Fish Tacos (from the specials). Every single thing was amazing! Fresh Fresh Fresh!!!! Definitely coming back again.

To just leave a review I have to give them a 1 star. I walked in for lunch and requested a table for myself and for co workers who where on there way. Server refused to provide a table with more space. She said because I was the only one there at the moment. She wasn't available to provide me a bigger table. They had multiple tables open,I walked out. A different Mariscos establishment was more than happy to take our money and business. If they can't provide space don't open an establishment.

This place is so cute! It is on the smaller side, but their service and food were on point! I had a shrimp quesadilla, a modelo michelada, their special lemonade, and another shrimp botana - it reminded me of a seafood boil. I meant to get a picture of the menu, but forgot. Nonetheless, the service was fast, the server was attentive, and made great recommendations - you won't regret trying.

The seafood especially the shrimps.... delish!!!! This restaurant is small and took me awhile to Yelp it, the menu is only 1 page but ifyouonly interested in seafood, go there! The limeade is tasty and in a big plastic cup. Definitely recommended to try it out

The waitress was attentive the whole time, bathrooms were clean, and I really appreciated how mindful the staff was with my deaf friend. That always stands out to me. The calamari was okay. I liked it, but my friend said she's definitely had better. I also had to ask for lemon with the calamari. Last time I came with a friend they were completely out of lemons, so I was glad that wasn't an issue this time. I'd probably try something different instead of the calamari next visit though. We got the Pier 88 combo crab boil with the "All of the Above" seasoning in mild. It came out super quick and was very well seasoned. I personally thought it leaned a little salty, but I also saw other tables adding extra salt to their food, so I guess it just depends on your taste. Portions were good and everything tasted delicious. Very kid-friendly spot, pretty loud and lively inside, and honestly a great place for hosting bigger groups, family get-togethers, or even just catching up with a friend over drinks and seafood. I've been here before and would definitely come back again.

A Taste of the Bayou Right Here!…read more Walking into Flavors of Louisiana feels like stepping straight into the heart of the South--where the spices are bold, the portions are generous, and every bite carries a story. From the moment I sat down, the warm hospitality made me feel like family, and the aroma of Cajun spices drifting from the kitchen let me know I was in for something special. The Food The star of the show is undeniably the seafood dishes. The crawfish étouffée was rich and velvety, with layers of flavor that only true Louisiana cooking can capture. The seasoning was spot-on--bold without being overpowering, spicy but balanced. The fried catfish was golden perfection: crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. And don't get me started on the gumbo--hearty, smoky, and brimming with soul. Every side dish felt like comfort food elevated. The hush puppies were crisp little bites of heaven, and the dirty rice was so flavorful it could have been a meal on its own. The Experience What I loved most was the authenticity. Nothing felt watered down or rushed--it was food made with love, patience, and pride. The staff checked in often, always with a smile, and you could tell they genuinely cared that you enjoyed not just your meal, but your entire experience. Final Thoughts Flavors of Louisiana isn't just a restaurant--it's an experience. It's the kind of place you come to when you want food that warms your soul and reminds you what real flavor is supposed to taste like. If you've never had authentic Cajun or Creole cooking before, this is the perfect place to start. And if you already love Louisiana cuisine, you'll feel right at home. Authentic. Flavorful. Unforgettable!

It was both gorgeous and delicious!!! Nestled in an Avondale strip mall, this cozy little Japanese place serves up a deep menu of over 60 different sushi rolls, five different kinds of ramen, as well as staple Japanese and Korean entrees like Teriyaki, Bulgogi, and Katsu bowls. The restaurant is pristine: everything in the front of the house was clean and the decor was a balance of both modern and traditional Japanese. Their lunch rush was steady; the dining room was well occupied shortly after opening. And the service was attentive and genuine! This is, hands down, one of the best sushi spots in the area! I will be back!

Unfortunately, I have to change my review. We've been coming here since Sushi Love first opened,…read moreand in the beginning this place was on top of things, the servers were friendly and attentive, and while the kitchen could be a little slow at times, it was never anywhere near as bad as what we experienced today. Here's the timeline from when we arrived to when we finally received everything: 12:10 - Seated 12:20 - Finally able to order drinks and food 12:27 - Received my single sushi roll 12:54 - Guest received his entree 1:04 - Just received our gyoza appetizer It took over 10 minutes after being seated before the waitress even got us water. I was trying to look up other restaurants in the area because we were about to leave. What made this even more confusing was that it was a Sunday right after opening, and the restaurant wasn't even busy. Because the appetizer took so long, I ended up splitting my single sushi roll with my guest so he wouldn't have to sit there hungry while waiting on his food. Even then, it still took over 30 minutes for his entree to arrive, which was ridiculous considering it was just one dish. The most frustrating part was waiting nearly 45 minutes for a single appetizer order of gyoza. We were honestly close to leaving before it ever arrived, and I would have left still hungry. If the appetizer had come out in a reasonable amount of time, I could have actually enjoyed the roll I came there for in its entirety instead of having to split it just so we could get by while waiting. The pacing of the food also made no sense. Appetizers should come out before entrees, not after everything else. Instead, one person was eating while the other sat there waiting, which made the entire experience awkward and frustrating. If the waitress paced things correctly it would have made a huge difference and likely helped prevent the kitchen from getting backed up. On top of that our waitress never apologized for the delays or acknowledged the excessive wait times, not even after we waited over 10 minutes just to get water. She did repeatedly asked if we "needed anything else" while we were still waiting on food. Like, yes, we needed the food we already ordered? Overall, the experience felt extremely disorganized and uncaring from both the service staff and the kitchen. What's especially disappointing is that this wasn't our first bad experience here. This is now the second visit in a row where we've dealt with extremely slow service and a noticeable lack of attentiveness (last time we were there they forgot some food, not only ours but also a table next to us). This place used to be good, which makes the decline even more frustrating, the kitchen needs an overhaul or something. Sushi is good and not as slow but ordering anything from the kitchen or getting drinks is like pulling teeth to get. Sushi Love isn't a huge restaurant, so it's hard to understand how things have become this disorganized. We gave the restaurant another chance hoping things would improve, but this was by far the worst experience we've had here.
