This is one of the best or the best Mexican seafood meals I have ever had. As a spicy lover I was over the moon with the ceviche, torre, and tacos durados. Two wimps in our group were not into seafood or not into spicy so they had quesadilla with fries or chicken tenders with fries. If this is you, just order a kids meal like a boss! One person had the soup and loved that as well. Maybe ask for your fries unseasoned if you don't want too much flavor. Just good enough but no intentions to return. Service: lacks urgency and attentiveness. Friendly but unaware and unchecked which tells me this is how they always operate. The restaurant was half full (5 tables) 3 servers mostly inside of the kitchen area the whole time. Our drinks came after the food order was taken which took a while for how simple their menu is. The food took about 30 minutes to come out and was delivered by another server. Our server (blonde hair) never returned, no refills, and our dirty dishes were not picked up. Basically she came by when we were done eating. All servers seemed extra attentive to the tables with only men. A lot of socializing going on in the back. The food: -The aguachile tostada was the best dish. -The shrimp crunchy taco was okay, the sauce on top seemed more fitting for a sushi plate than a shrimp taco. I went there for the first time with my in-laws. Didn't realize it was just down the street from my house so I've been missing out. The food is incredible. Very refresh for mariscos in the desert. Very deep menu with extra on a board inside that you would not see on the menu. The service was really good. They always come by every five minutes or so. I've been eating this food since he started selling out of his van--and it was amazing. Then I tried it again once he upgraded to a food trailer, and honestly, I wasn't that impressed. But fast forward to the other day... wow. Probably the best mariscos in the Valley. All the flavors are distinct. We have been waiting for this to open, so as soon as we saw they were open we had to try it. It is a small place about 10 tables or so, you order at the counter. The menu is a little on the smaller side, but they do have a kids menu for those who need that. I ordered the shrimp ceviche, my husband had shrimp cocktail with octopus, my son had shrimp quesadillas and we ordered chips and salsa. The ceviche was perfectly cut, and fresh tasting. I ordered the full order and it's pretty big! My husbands cocktail was a good size as well and flavorful. My son said the quesadillas were cheesy and delicious. We spoke with the owners and they have not yet had their grand opening, they are on a soft opening right now. I've had two wildly different experiences here. The first one was phenomenal. I had the best table salsa that I've ever had at this restaurant. The chips come hot and salty. You haven't even gotten your food yet and it's already a good experience. My first entree here was the verde aguaschilles. It tastes exactly like you get in the Yucatan. It's a huge portion too. With an appetizer, this could feed two people. 20 out of 5 stars. The second time I came, the salsa was different. It was good but not the one I fell in love with. And honestly, I respect that that change up their salsa recipe. I got a marlin and a shrimp taco. Neither of them tasted fresh. This place isn't cheap either. Tacos are like $5 and the aguaschilles was maybe $25? It's good for a work lunch. It's fast and great service. There are plenty of tables. read more

The food is great. Knowing this, I told my dad about it weeks before he flew into town to visit. My family and I came expecting a wait. We were told 30-40 minutes which we understood, considering there were 6 of us and not many tables. After some time over an hour, we were finally seated. The place seemed more like a house party than an actual restaurant. The table they were waiting to give us stayed. They were obviously over-served alcohol, making frequent or long trips to the bathroom. The whole general vibe seemed to be prioritized around having a good time rather than actual service. Really Tasty Fresh Seafood  This was our fiirst visit to Mariscos A Todo Mar and I have to say we really enjoyed the food. The shrimp were fresh and very well seasoned. I really enjoyed the Papas de Todo Mar. They are topped with a house made sauce, grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, and fried fish, so many unique flavors in one dish, and the serving size is very generous. I asked for a lemon as our meals only came with little to non lemon, upon asking the waitress for more lemon, she replied that it would be an extra charge. We were in the Tolleson area and searched for a Mariscos place when we stumbled upon Mariscos A Todo Mar. It is not a large restaurant but easy to find and every table was full when we arrived. We waited for 20 minutes at the bar area which only has a few bar stools and about 4 chairs along the window by the door to wait, if you get there and those are full you have to wait outside. First impressions were super busy = good food and clean. The servers were busy going to tables brining drinks, food, etc and manning the wait area. We ordered a michelada while we were waiting and it was excellent. We got a table and they quickly brought us chips and salsa that are free, but if you want more chips there is a reasonable price to pay. The salsa was excellent with hints of habanero. You can see the kitchen staff working on preparing the mariscos from every part of the dining area, and they are moving fast preparing the food as it is ordered and the head chef calling out the orders, you can also hear the bell ring as orders are ready, it's a non-stop orchestra of movement in the kitchen. Be prepared to wait up to 30 minutes for your food because they are firing it up and preparing fresh as it is ordered. You can tell this place takes pride in the food they make. Our order of food was excellent, amazingly flavorful and presented nicely. We will definitely be back again as the prices were reasonable, excellent quality and great taste. Our server was Alexia and she was nice, efficient and very apologetic for the delay but we were not in a rush and sometimes you have to wait for great food.
