I was looking for a new place to try near me and found this gem in Old Buckeye. The vibe was perfect. With people celebrating birthdays, couples on dates, and friends just hanging out and having a good time. Everything we ordered was so good! The queso fundido and chicharrón de ribeye were incredible starters. My fiancé and I decided to go big and ordered the tomahawk steak. It did not disappoint! The flame, the flavor, the sides... everything was a solid 10/10. I also tried the ribeye aguachile, and wow!!! that was hands down my favorite dish of the night. The meat was super tender, and the flavors were just next level. I'd honestly come back just for that! It was our first time there, and James took such good care of us. He was really attentive, patient, and helped us pick out the best dishes. To end the night, the staff surprised me by playing Las Mañanitas, bringing out a mariachi hat for me to wear, and serving a delicious churro cake with a sparkler candle. It was such a fun and memorable birthday.

A bit out of the way, but worth the drive! Nice atmosphere - maybe a bit clubby on the playlist. The food and service are great. The queso fundido with chorizo was delicious with what seem like homemade flour tortillas. House margs with fresh lime juice are very good and just the right tart edge. Everyone loved every taco, our favorites being the carne asada and Birria. I will agree with other comments that the side of rice and beans are really small, but overall you don't lack for food.

Absolutely LOVED the vibe, the food, and the service! My husband and I treated ourselves to a date here on a Thursday afternoon and it did not disappoint. He ordered the spiked horchata and it was delicious! We also shared the steak flight parrillada and it was amazing! Our favorite was the picana! Melt in our mouth and full of flavor!! I will say, it says for two but you could easily share with 4 people if you start with an appetizer. Can't wait to come back again and bring some friends. A true gem addition to Buckeye! Likely to be our new fave!

We tried Barbon Asadero after seeing it mentioned on tv. The restaurant is very nice inside, and we were sat promptly. We ordered I believe queso to start. The taste was good but you only receive 4 small tortillas with the order. I usually don't eat Mexican food but chips for me would be a better option so half of the queso went to waste. My wife ordered tacos and I had the quesadillas. The food was tasty and cooked to order. The restaurant is a little pricey ,over 80 dollars for lunch. We will probably return but not for dinner as the menu prices scared us a bit. All in all a good experience, the 4 was for the prices.

Great New Spot in the West Valley! Came in around 8 PM with my husband and we got seated pretty quickly. We started with drinks--I had the Buckeye Sunset and he got a Modelo. Both were great and set the tone for a nice evening. We shared the ribeye chicharrón as an appetizer, and it was so good--super flavorful and crispy, definitely a highlight! For my main, I ordered the 3 red tacos with beans and rice. I would've enjoyed it even more if they had brought out some salsas to try at the table--would've been perfect for the tacos. My husband had the picana taco and the grilled Baja fish taco--he really liked both. Overall, it's a solid new addition to the West Valley. Great food, good service, and we'll definitely be back to try more!

Really good for this side of the valley. I've tried a lot of birria and this beef was the best I have ever had. If you are a fan of Brazilian cuts of beef they even offer picanha beef tacos, also very good. Give the nachos and margaritas a try!

The food was so tasty and we enjoyed everything! The service wasn't the best, but I'd be willing to give try again!

You order at the counter and the food comes out to the table. You can tell this place is family owned. The owners, whom I assumed were there tonight, were lovely people. While we waited, the woman who took our order brought out a basket of chips with refried beans and fresco queso on top with a side of salsa. Woah! What? Epic. But wait! A few minutes later, a precious girl with the most warm inviting, and beautiful smile came out with 2 warm, homemade corn tortillas, with salsa and cheese for us. These were just complimentary extras we didn't expect at all. Soo good. The restaurant is a humble place. Cute, clean, inviting and roomy. There is an inside seating area and an outdoor section. Someone was grilling meat out front. I think, the owner. I ordered a chili relleno combo. It comes with rice, beans, tortillas, and a drink. Hubs ordered two carne asada tacos, and a carne asada sope. I didn't try anything my husband ordered. ( I was laser focused on my meal lol) But it looked really good. He said, you can tell, they make their food with love. Yes, yes, yes, you can. My dish, was the best chili relleno I have had the entire 5 yrs I have been living in AZ. And the beans were phenomenal. Honestly, I prefer eating at places like this. We came for an impromptu date night. I can say it was one of the best meals and date nights I've had in a while. Thank you. So good - I could've eaten an entire plate of just that. The rice and beans were decent, however the beans could have benefited from a little more salt. You can choose either flour or corn tortillas. My only qualm would be that there were some temperature inconsistencies among the various components. Some were borderline room temperature, like they had been cooked first; others were piping hot.
