Went there for their menudo, it's not too bad, but it was a little sour ?! Not sure if it's off taste or what. I didn't add any lime either. Got it Saturday noon, live 5 mins away. Menudo and a side rice total came out $18 something. A little bit disappointed tbh.

Visited Sunday morning. Stood in line about 10 mins with 2 couples in front. The couple in front of us left mad. When we reached the window the lady said they were having trouble with the grill and it would be 30mins before we could order. I would have been more understanding if there would have been a sign up so we didn't have to waste our time waiting our turn at the window.

Always a pleasure coming here to eat after a long day of mountain biking! Food is always fresh and tastes pretty good.

Tacos! Tacos! Tacos! Love me some tacos! Being in the area there isn't much around here other than off the street spots. Like others have said you have to pay attention to not miss the entrance. Going east will be on your right, going west will be on the left. Once you get there looks a bit abandoned but just park and walk in. You order in one truck and pick up on the other truck. Prices are good for the food. I got myself three tacos, two asada and one pastor. I will say the asada was better than pastor. It does take a bit of time to get your order. During summer I can see not being fun sitting and eating here. But they have fans and shade just in case you want to eat there. Beware tho there are flies. Overall very happy with their tacos.

You can tell if Mexican food will be good if there are Hispanic guests.. at peak lunchtime there was one white family here. Salsa is like hot sauce soup, it's just liquid and quite spicy. The tortilla chips are Mission Rounds! Not what I would call authentic. Trash and ants on ground. We ordered the same thing and the meals were very inconsistently sized. Pretty disappointed.

You order at the counter and the food comes out to the table. You can tell this place is family owned. The owners, whom I assumed were there tonight, were lovely people. While we waited, the woman who took our order brought out a basket of chips with refried beans and fresco queso on top with a side of salsa. Woah! What? Epic. But wait! A few minutes later, a precious girl with the most warm inviting, and beautiful smile came out with 2 warm, homemade corn tortillas, with salsa and cheese for us. These were just complimentary extras we didn't expect at all. Soo good. The restaurant is a humble place. Cute, clean, inviting and roomy. There is an inside seating area and an outdoor section. Someone was grilling meat out front. I think, the owner. I ordered a chili relleno combo. It comes with rice, beans, tortillas, and a drink. Hubs ordered two carne asada tacos, and a carne asada sope. I didn't try anything my husband ordered. ( I was laser focused on my meal lol) But it looked really good. He said, you can tell, they make their food with love. Yes, yes, yes, you can. My dish, was the best chili relleno I have had the entire 5 yrs I have been living in AZ. And the beans were phenomenal. Honestly, I prefer eating at places like this. We came for an impromptu date night. I can say it was one of the best meals and date nights I've had in a while. Thank you. Y'all are gonna see me alot. :)

No matter how busy, the wait is never long but your food is made to order. They have an abundant salsa bar and, if you sit outside, an employee is cooking up something on a plancha. We don't know what. We have only ever sat inside or carried our tacos home. Next door there's a modern bakery next door with cakes, bars, cookies and traditional Hispanic treats. We're looking forward to checking it out at some point. Stay tuned!

We decided to try again at this new location. It was good. The ribeye tacos are really good, as are the potato tacos (try them!). Our food arrived hot and everything was good. Personally I'm not a fan of their salsas. And I think it's lame to have to separately order chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant. Especially considering their prices are astronomical for Mexican food. And the chips and salsa are not cheap. But those are nit-picks. I'd say good overall. For me it's not anything great, and it's not a good, old, "family-style" Mexican restaurant with red plastic soda tumblers and plentiful chips and salsa. It's more of a "boutique" Mexican-inspired restaurant. Decent for sure, but the prices for me are way high for what it is (a taqueria really). Still, give it a try. I think when they're hitting on all cylinders their food is great.

We ordered chips and Gaucamole and were given something else instead. When my husband asked about it the server said we were given the wrong thing but we said it was fine and we would just keep it. We ordered food, my husband a breakfast burrito and me the chilaquiles. I had asked the server which sauce he would recommend as they offered three, and he had said the red was spicy so I chose it as I love spicy foods. It took 35 minutes for our food to come out. Once it came, my chilaquiles had green sauce on them, I stated that I had ordered red sauce and the server picked up the plate to take it back and got a little attitude with me and said I'm pretty sure you said green but ok. I then told him I'd keep it if it was an issue but he continued to walk away with the plate. He came back shortly after with red sauce and I thanked him. However, I was disappointed with my meal because I had also ordered my eggs over medium (cooked whites/runny yokes) and they were basically hard boiled with cooked yokes. The red sauce also was not even spicy but lacked any flavor at all honestly. So I was pretty disappointed. As soon as we left after eating and paying my stomach felt off, I got sick when I got home and stayed sick all night. I was fine before coming here and hadn't eaten anything else that day so I know it was from eating here. Needless to say we won't be going back here.
