We were rolling west coming back from Joshua Tree National Park and were starving. I found this taco truck open until 10 PM! The gentleman greeted us and everyone was so nice and welcoming. I decided to try some new things & old things. The Torta! Wow, amazing. I loved the Telera bread, with the Asada & Al Pastor, lettuce, cilantro, jalapeño, onion, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and green sauce. Everything was delicious, fresh, and the flavor was amazing. I would recommend. Horchata! I don't remember what is all in this but it's so freaking delicious! Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milk flavor that just hits differently. It's sweet , but so tasty. I never got to the burrito & took it home. The Torta was so big I could only eat half. My beautiful wife loved the queso tacos with Asada and was very happy. She also got the watermelon Fresca and I tried it. Like a piece of watermelon in a cup. Phenomenal flavor. I literally stumbled onto this gem and would definitely go back if in the area. They are at it again! Flooring customers (us) with flavorful meals. Had a try at there off menu chilaquiles burritos that was exceptional. The burrito had great flavor and the spices were perfectly balanced without being overwhelming. The portion size was phenomenal--definitely satisfying and well worth it. New location is at 1130 North 186th Drive, Goodyear, Az in case you are directed to the old location in search of really great tacos! We were flying down 10 West developing a bad case of the hungries. We found recommendations for JalisTaco and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the directions took us to the old location but after a little GPS magic we were able to find the current location about 10 minutes away. The truck is parked in a nice open area with ample parking. There is a shade structure over 8 tables for those who do not want to take their order to go. We ordered a cucumber agua fresca and a horchata to drink and a combination of pollo asado and al pastor tacos. The aqua fresca and horchata were both wonderfully refreshing and tasted like they had just been made. Our taco choices are made to order but the short wait was worth it. The friendly person behind the table called that our order was ready and we eagerly dove into our tacos. The pollo asado tacos were perfectly prepared with generous quantities of meat topped with diced onions and cilantro wrapped in corn tortillas. These little gems were delicious. The al pastor tacos were equally delicious! Mounds of meat, freshly prepared, with tasty onion and cilantro accents. We loved our visit to this little taco oasis and are hoping for an excuse to take I-10 somewhere in the future so that we can stop by for more tremendous taco goodness! read more
