If you are looking for good, authentic, homemade Mexican food, this is the place. Not much ambiance but I frankly was not looking for that. It's just a place to get good food. Service is always solid and that's a plus. I ordered tamales for New Years and they were very good. Grabbed some menudo since I was already there and it was very, very good. They cater too. Can't go wrong with this place.

I keep coming back to this place. It's so convenient since it's near my parents home. The staff is always friendly and always attentive to help. Every time we stop by I try to get something different but those carne asada tacos and al pastor tacos keep on calling my name. It's undeniable. My husband really likes the carne colorada. But he is more easily persuaded into trying new things. Don't get me wrong, I love trying new cuisines and new places but those darn delicious tacos just got me hooked with no remedy at this point. We will continue to visit this place and maybe next time my asada tacos don't atacis me. Haha haha. Had to do it. It's late night while writing my reviews. Something had to give. LoL

Caldo de Res- the meat in the soup is corn beef.

We realized that we were running late, so I called to let them know and thankfully they noted it. Parking wasn't hard to find (on street or their own private lot) and we were easily able to check in. The place was pretty packed when we arrived, but they placed a reserved sign on our table. It was basically a steak/meat spot. I initially tried to order a Carajillo, but was told that they ran out of the espresso (it was toward the end of the night, so understandable), and instead opted for the Tia Mia (Mezcal cocktail) and my husband got the Buckeye Sunset (Tequila cocktail). Both were very well made--presentation and flavors. For the food, we got the Chips and Salsa, Birria Protein Bowl, and Picahna steak with chimichurri sauce. The food was all so delicious. Chips and salsa, salsa was a little spicy for me, but very flavorful. The protein bowl was huge and loved the flavors, but ended up taking half home. The steak was bomb with meat being very tender, properly cooked, and full of flavor. I think the meal was well worth it and pretty tasty. Service was pretty good too. Honestly, I would come back just to try out other items on the menu, for future trips.

I'd gotten the chicken plate, and LOVED it. Great cook on everything and really flavorful bites all around. (would have loved a spicier salsa option, tho). Ambiance is simple and open. Not fancy, but bright and airy. Service was fine. All around some of the best food I've had in the PHX are, so I'll be back on my next visit! (great gelato nearby for dessert also)

For those complaining about the price, what do you expect?!?! Go to Filiberto's and be a negative Nancy if you want "cheap" food with no love, no intention, and no happiness. The fish tacos are TRUE CALI fish tacos. Fresh fish, FRIED PERFECTLY. The sneaky menu item is the wings. Fried perfectly and huge. Perfect for football season. Do not doubt this place, do not question whether or not you should come here. Quite literally everything is good, and the menu has such a variety that you'll find something that works for you, and yes it will be good. And I'm completely serious when I say this - if someone complains about the food they're wack.

The crowd was lively, everyone was cheering, and it created such a fun environment for my friend's birthday dinner. Service ran smoothly the entire night, and the food was genuinely impressive. The shrimp and mahi mahi tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the Fez Burger was the standout. Cooked perfectly to a medium, the combination of the fried onion ring, barbecue sauce, and ciabatta bread made every bite a hit. They even went above and beyond with the birthday cake. It was beautifully decorated and made the celebration feel extra special. Overall, Pony's Miche delivered great vibes, great food, and a great night.

The carne asada is juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly how it should be. The verde sauce was a revelation--a pure adrenaline rush straight to green-painted Flavor Town. The aguas frescas deserve special recognition. They're refreshing, delicious, and likely one of the reasons people keep coming back. And the breakfast burritos? FAT. The kind of burritos that make you question whether you need another meal that day. You will not leave hungry, and if you somehow do, that's probably a you problem. Now, let's be clear: this is a food truck. Don't come expecting a full-service restaurant experience. There is outdoor seating with shade and a swamp cooler to help combat the Arizona heat, but the real attraction here is the food.

I would recommend. Horchata! I don't remember what is all in this but it's so freaking delicious! Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milk flavor that just hits differently. It's sweet , but so tasty. I never got to the burrito & took it home. The Torta was so big I could only eat half. My beautiful wife loved the queso tacos with Asada and was very happy. She also got the watermelon Fresca and I tried it. Like a piece of watermelon in a cup. Phenomenal flavor. I literally stumbled onto this gem and would definitely go back if in the area. We ordered chips and Gaucamole and were given something else instead. When my husband asked about it the server said we were given the wrong thing but we said it was fine and we would just keep it. We ordered food, my husband a breakfast burrito and me the chilaquiles. I had asked the server which sauce he would recommend as they offered three, and he had said the red was spicy so I chose it as I love spicy foods. It took 35 minutes for our food to come out. Once it came, my chilaquiles had green sauce on them, I stated that I had ordered red sauce and the server picked up the plate to take it back and got a little attitude with me and said I'm pretty sure you said green but ok. I then told him I'd keep it if it was an issue but he continued to walk away with the plate. He came back shortly after with red sauce and I thanked him. However, I was disappointed with my meal because I had also ordered my eggs over medium (cooked whites/runny yokes) and they were basically hard boiled with cooked yokes. The red sauce also was not even spicy but lacked any flavor at all honestly. So I was pretty disappointed. As soon as we left after eating and paying my stomach felt off, I got sick when I got home and stayed sick all night. I was fine before coming here and hadn't eaten anything else that day so I know it was from eating here. Needless to say we won't be going back here. If you want good brunch and especially good chilaquiles go to Park Cafe not too far from this place they have the best I've had so far in the area.
