Always a great experience here. The bacon wrapped shrimp is so delicious! The family also got burritos and the kids chicken tenders, It was all good. The margaritas are equally as good. My son was in town again and after his last visit it was a must that we return to Fiesta Mexicana. Again, it was a great place with super delicious food and staff. Why is it that I always have a hard time walking out of this place, maybe because I am more ready for a siesta than a drive home. I had the Deluxe Nachos which I could not finish, but my son did. He had an enchilada and chile relleno, which he easily devoured.....along with two giant, flaming margaritas. Oh and we also had chips and salsa. So we again waddled out of Fiesta Mexicana, both very happy. Included pics of before and after. Staff is always friendly and cheerful, a fun place. There was even a birthday going on, we all sung a Happy Birthday and applauded. read more

Little annoyed that not only did I get overcharged on my check that was corrected after I pointed the incorrect amounts being charged but given the wrong change when paying cash. The overall experience was amazing! Got seated right away, got our drinks and orders in very quickly. It was our first time there & our waiter Ramiro was very attentive to us and explained the menu. He has good hospitality and went above and beyond with his customer service skills. The current manager also greeted us and asked us about our experience. Took my brother from Alaska here on a whim since we were visiting family nearby. It was a bit underwhelming. We both had tacos (he had al carbon and I had al pastor). Tortillas were not warm, the chips and salsa were okay, but you have to pay for a refill and prices were steep (16.00 ish per plate). We ate a few bites of the rice, I ate the beans and neither of us even finished 1 taco. Meat was without love - tough beef, slightly better pastor, but neither was fresh. I don't want to be harsh and give it 1 star, but I won't be back so there's no chance for me to rate it again. We left hungry and bummed that our tiny town in Alaska we are from had waaaay better Mexican food. Go figure. Also, the waitress came back 4x while we were looking the menu...apparently they just churn tables? Overall, 2 stars is as much as I can give. Maybe they make their money on strong drinks, hard to say. read more

We have lived in this area our whole life and were so surprised we had never been to Fiesta Mexicana. We finally decided to try it about a week ago and I want to point out that our service was great. But the reason for the 3 stars was that the food was marginal. We have four kids and got them each their own kids meal, which was one taco and rice and beans. The taco was ground beef, and I would not recommend it. None of my kids would eat it after the first bite. Drinks were also not included in the kids meal. So we were charged almost $10 per meal + a lemonade for each kid. This is also a restaurant that charges extra for chips, which isn't a huge deal, but just something to mention. For us, the quality of food just wasn't worth it for us. read more

I wanted to give this restaurant a second chance, so I went in for dinner this past Sunday with a party of six. The service was excellent--our server was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the food fell short. While the beans and rice were flavorful, the enchiladas were very dry and tasted like they were simply dipped in tomato sauce with no seasoning. I had visited Fiesta Mexicana a few times previously and we really enjoy the atmosphere, drinks and especially the food here. We always start with a Michlota (they do have Tacate light) which is delicious. They used to put three boiled shrimp on the rim, but have been absent on the last couple of visits. They have quite a few grilled items on the menu and one of our favorites is the Carnita Pollo. It is quite similar to Chicken Fajita and is delicious. It is a chain, but the food, server's and restuarant is decorated pleasingly. We made this one of our go to places in Avondale! read more

I drive all the way from Arcadia to dine here because the food is that good! the service from the time you walk in, all the way up to the time you leave is impeccable. My friend's experience: BEWARE! Always check your transactions once they clear the bank especially when there is a place to put a tip. We had went out to dinner at Fiesta Mexican Restaurant in Avondale ( Dysart and McDowell). It just so happens my meal was not good and very salty and I ended up getting my meal removed from the check. No drinks ordered so this left one meal just under $20 and the ambience was ok. Two days later I open up my banking app and see our Restaurant transaction for $67.71!!! WTF!! Turns out the manager tells me that my husband tipped the waitress $40 .... No he didn't.... More like are you f**king kidding me! Long story short I got my $40 back ... I hate when people try to take advantage of others ... I told him it was disgusting and theft and it was stealing and all he did was stand behind his employees. He should hold them responsible... Was he the one responsible? DONT TRUST FIESTA MEXICAN RESTAURANT -SOMEONE IS A THIEF!! How do you sleep at night stealing like that? WATCH YOUR TRANSACTIONS!!! read more

My families and I go to local mexican food spot! I've loved every meal I got here! The waiters are really kind and thorough with taking your order. This last order I felt like the enchilada sauce lacked a bit of its typical deliciousness. It tasted very tomato filled without as much flavor but still really goods also the salsa was a little disappointing as it didn't have much seasoning or flavor as well just very heavy tomato taste. Overall the food is delicious and I know we all have some down days so I'll still be back it just wasn't as good as usual. I love the decor and bright colors inside, their booths are actually comfortable with sufficient cushion. Great place for a nice family or date night dinner. read more

This Company was founded by Martin and Patricia Rangel about 15 years ago with all the struggles in life they wanted to be their own boss and wanted to serve the people the best Mexican food along with the atmosphere and service, so they opened their first location in Woodland Park Colorado which is still open to this date and with 8 restaurants strong and currently working on the ninth location in Avondale to be opened in August 2014. She asked if I wanted the tripas extra crispy I said no. I also asked how they prepare the suadero since I didn't see a choricera, but she wasn't sure. When the food came out, the tripas were a letdown. The texture was off, almost like a stale chip, and they were clearly overcooked. I asked if I could swap them for something safer, so I went with asada instead, but that didn't impress either. It didn't taste very fresh. Now here's the reason you should come to Tacos Chilangos: the suadero. Even though it's not cooked the traditional way, it was absolutely delicious. Perfect meat-to-fat ratio, super flavorful, and easily the standout. The guacamole salsa was top tier. I kept going back to that one over the others. All in all definitely stop by to try the suadero as for as the other two I'd would probably give them a second try.

Happy colors, neon, seriously the best salsa bar I have ever come across - they even had homemade, warm salsa macha on the side and everything else was cold and fresh because the condiments are covered in a literal steel trap to keep everything clean and sanitary. I had ordered my meal to go, and people started rolling up as I was leaving so I guess the party was about to start without me. Then I got my tacos home!! Exclamation point because they deserve it. I ordered two queso tacos that, of course, came with consumme. My eyes rolled back in my head when I took the first bite. The beef was juicy, flavorful, tender and the consumme complimented it beautifully. And when have ever been treated to so much cheese in a queso taco? Never. And the good, thick Mexican cheese, melted and abundant. Not some tasteless, cheap, inconsequential slop. My only regret? I live 10 miles away up a mountain and I couldn't run right back and order one more queso taco! I was literally starving for one more. This was my 4th visit, and I've recommended Zeta's Grill to others because they had always done such a great job accommodating my severe dairy allergy. Unfortunately, tonight was completely different. Food & Service Almost immediately I noticed things weren't the same. I even politely asked our waiter if the owners had changed because the food and service felt so different from my previous visits. I ordered my usual dinner platter, but: * The lamb came out plain with no onions or bell peppers, even though the menu photo shows both. * The baba ghanoush was missing the pomegranate seeds. * The hummus was much less seasoned than before. * My salad arrived covered in feta cheese despite my dairy allergy. * My grape leaves appetizer never came until I reminded them. * I never received the pita bread that normally comes with the meal and had to ask. * Halfway through dinner they remembered I had ordered saffron rice for the table. It felt like our table kept being forgotten all evening. Food Allergy I have a life-threatening dairy allergy, and I mentioned it multiple times while ordering because previous visits had always been handled so carefully. As we were leaving, my throat began swelling and my ears plugged up. I immediately asked if anything I had eaten contained dairy, including the pita bread. Our waiter went to ask the kitchen. The cook appeared visibly irritated about being questioned, retrieved the pita packaging, and read the ingredients aloud. The second ingredient was whey. By then I had already eaten about half the pita. I had to sit down by the register and use my EpiPen before I could leave. Our Waiter I want to give credit where it's due. Our waiter seemed genuinely concerned and apologized once he realized what had happened. He told me I wouldn't have to pay for my meal. I chose to pay anyway because I didn't feel this was his fault. My frustration is with the kitchen and management, not with him. Other Issues My friends were told their meals included one side, including Greek fries, but were later charged a $4 upcharge. Another friend paid $8 for only two pieces of baklava. When she politely questioned it, the employee became dismissive and insisted only the assorted version came with a full container. After we left, we checked the restaurant's own menu, which lists the assorted baklava for $7.95 for the full container, making the explanation even more confusing. Final Thoughts I brought three friends because I wanted to share one of my favorite restaurants with them. Instead, they watched me have an allergic reaction serious enough to require my EpiPen in the parking lot. I've always spoken highly of Zeta's Grill, which makes this even harder to write. I sincerely hope management reviews their allergy procedures. A food allergy isn't a preference--it can become a life-threatening emergency in minutes.

We hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Fiesta Mexicana in March, and were completely satisfied with every aspect of the event. We chose Fiesta Mexicana after visiting 8 other Mexican restaurants in the west valley, and it was the hands-down winner. We were particularly attracted to it's colorful decor, but were also pleased with the courteous and helpful staff, as well as the tasteful food and excellent prices for a group event. The manager, Francisco, went out of his way to make every aspect of our party an enjoyable experience. He worked with us to customize the menu to our liking and to keep the expenses at a reasonable level for such a large group. We were also pleased with the wait staff and the private area set aside just for us. A great time was had by all! Did we mention the food? It was equally as good as the service!!! I recently dined at Fiesta Mexicana with my family, and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. We ordered the Molcajete for two, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic and vibrant, truly a feast for the senses. I am happy to the point that my colleague prescribed Abunai to me. The nourishment is fantastic! It is super tasty and all that could possibly be needed nourishment for lunch. I have had the Mochiko Chicken and the Kalua Pig and both are awesome anyway, I like the chicken more than the pig. The chicken is so succulent and delicate and I cherish the sauce that is showered to finish everything. I got it with the fricasseed rice (an additional $1) and the Lomi tomatoes and onion and carrot and cucumber Namasu sides. It is somewhat expensive for lunch, mine adjusted to be $15 however the sustenance was extremely tasty so the cost can be supported. Hadn't been here in a few years and I was shocked the decline in drinks and food. The mangonada back in the day had chamoy rim tajin and came with a tamarindo. You could taste there was alcohol. And was delicious. This time around same drink tasted pre-made and 0% alcohol. No chamoy on rim. Not sure what was on the rim clear white maybe lime? No tamarindo candy straw. Was going to order food but when the peoples food next to me came out that was the sign that it was time to go. Their orange rice was white with melted cheese. The beans were beyond greasy cheese on top. And what I assume was 2 birria tacos looked burnt. The bowl with the consome was brown not red. If you know Mex food you know none of that is right. My friend and I come in about every other week for a margarita and some food, and one of the biggest reasons we keep coming back is the amazing service we get from Jose! He always takes such great care of us and makes us feel genuinely welcomed every time we walk in. He's always smiling, has such a positive attitude, and somehow makes even a quick margarita stop feel like something we look forward to. It's rare to find someone who is consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems happy to take care of their guests. I ordered shrimp cocktail that was pure water and the shrimp tasted like old people‍ I couldn't risk getting sick from food poisoning. my girlfriend got chicken fajitas they were all vegetables and 6 measly pieces of chicken. Amazing! This was the first sit down Mexican restaurant we've been to since moving to AZ. Service was great! Our waitress was Alejandra and she was great! My mom and I had the Tampiquena Chicken which was bacon wrapped chicken stuffed with shrimp, covered in cream of mushroom sauce. Delicious! My wife had the super burrito and said it was superb! And the margaritas? The shirts say best in the valley and they aren't lying! My wife had a frozen mango margarita and I had a Cadillac margarita. So good I had to get a second one! (Don't judge me!). I had tried them for lunch and had a good experience. Decided to try it for dinner. The restaurant does have ambiance and the servers were great. The food...no bueno!!! The chips were stale. The salsa was good. The food was really bland and they are probably 30-40% more expensive than other neighborhood Mexican Restaurants. We had expected gourmet Mexican food at these prices but the food was not only average, but lacked of any spice at all. I usually love to take leftovers home but not this time! We came to this restaurant for the first time ever and it has passed any and all expectation! The area was so clean and we were all impressed. the food was delicious and there were so many options! it took me forever to choose what i wanted to eat! Haven't been here in awhile but just saw the picture on yelp and decided to review one of my favorite Mexican restaurants and it made me hungry so I will be visiting again soon! They have great food, friendly servers, strong and delicious Margaritas! You get what you pay for with the margaritas unlike chain restaurants. I enjoy their Fajitas, Chips, Beans & Rice are excellent, I can't remember the name but the have a Steak Burrito on the menu that is fabulous. Portion sizes are very big so you can split most of the entree's. Dessert with sopapilla's and ice cream are amazing... save room! read more

My wife had some green chili something however she said it was excellent. I'm a Mexican food guy and is my favorite food El numra Uno. If your in the area or want to make the drive go. I lived in Baja for 8 yrs, moved to Phoenix 10 yrs ago, and was YET to eat good well seasoned Mexican food. I was unhappy with the the taste and even the kids meal was smaller than other places. My son was still hungry after his meal and chips. The giant Santa at the entrance put a smile on my face, and the waitress, Ursula, and the quality of the food kept it there. Tonight I tried the combo, with an enchilada and a chile relleno. The enchilada was good - it's pretty hard too mess up an enchilada. The chile relleno, on the other hand, was AMAZING. Those are my favorite Mexican dish, and it is hit or miss at restaurants. Now this is real Mexican Food! We came here for a company meeting and were immediately impressed by the service and attention they give you. ANYONE that says this place is NOT the best is fibbing. The staff is great! Christopher the bartender makes fantastic drinks. Assistant Manager Adriana is fantastic and is always friendly. As a matter of fact the entire staff is friendly and courteous. I have NEVER had a bad meal or drink at this restaurant. I have tried numerous Mexican restaurants and have always been disappointed. This is the only good Mexican restaurant I've found so far since I moved into town. The art and decor of this restaurant is beyond beautiful. I've tried the green and red shrimp enchiladas, pescado frito, wet burrito, and also the molcagete. Everytime I order something new im never dissapointed. If you're searching for a fine Mexican dining restaurant then this is the place to go. Me and my family love this place. First time coming here and WOW the food was amazing exactly what I expected! Margaritas are just great! And staff is super friendly as well. The entire vibe of the restaurant is great, nicely decorated a very nice bar side as well. Will definitely be coming again. I had the pleasure of dining at Fiesta Mexicana recently and the experience was amazing. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was festive and inviting. I had the enchiladas and they were some of the best I have ever had. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. My family and I came to Fiesta Mexicana to celebrate my sons 33rd birthday, and all of our food was fantastic. I had the Camarones a la diabla and they were delicious. The sauce is pretty spicy but the flavor is wonderful paired with the rice. Our server Sergio was very attentive and was always refilling our drinks and never let any of us go without anything we needed providing the best service. I definitely recommend. Chips and salsa, salsa was a little spicy for me, but very flavorful. The protein bowl was huge and loved the flavors, but ended up taking half home. The steak was bomb with meat being very tender, properly cooked, and full of flavor. I think the meal was well worth it and pretty tasty. Service was pretty good too. Honestly, I would come back just to try out other items on the menu, for future trips.
