I kept driving past this place and we finally decided to go for dinner. Waking in, we noticed how spacious it is and there is different areas in the restaurant with more privacy. There was also a grupo playing, which was great because they were not super loud. So you could still have comfortable conversations. We loved absolutely everything we ordered. The taco gobernador and the tostada de camarón conocido was definitely the highlight. I also ordered a michelada and it was so good. Overall great experience and service, we will be back. read more

Got food poisoning no wonder it was dead when we died their for dinner. I had never gotten sick from eating oyster

I wasn't sure if this was a good spot for seafood but their food has me convinced that it is. Everything was hot and ready to be devoured. Only one thing I would change is the fried shrimp taco to grilled shrimp with a bit of a sauce on top. The taco you see in my photos was a bit dry and a little flavorless. But the shrimp empanadas were extremely tasteful and scrumptious. They made up for the taco. I ordered the crab soup and the amazing flavor it had had me on cloud nine. I wish I would have gotten crab legs instead of the knuckles because normally don't like to pull the meat out of the knuckles. I decided to give this place another try, hoping the last time was a fluke due to the pandemic. I should've just listened to my own review. Lol. Extremely overpriced food, plus nickel and dime surprises on the bill. $19 for 2 normal sized ceviche tostadas. $4 for avocado. List goes on. We ended up paying almost $140 including tip, for a not-so-great meal for 2 adults and a toddler. I understand why this giant place is completely empty on a Saturday evening. So we came here hosting a brunch for my family. Jenny did amazing with helping and getting a great menu set. The employees that work here as well are soooooo helpful and friendly they really know how to handle a large party and don't get flustered like you see at chain restaurants. The only reason I'm not getting five stars is the music it is way too loud !!!! Those guys need to turn it down you can't even have a conversation with them blasting. We got tire of just sitting there and no one coming to offer us drinks we got up and left after about 35-40 minutes. For a Friday night, this place was loud with the Banda but almost empty. I haven't been here in years but it used to be a very packed place. They still took a very long time to serve us. The Jamaica drinks (Hibiscus ) and Horchata drinks (Rice water) were very good. The caldo (soup) in the Cóctel de Camarón was delicious but that was it. (Shrimp cocktail ) Everything else was just bland. The bad part was that everything was dirty. The table "looked" clean but it had that slimy layer on top. The salt, ketchup, and mayo bottles all felt that way too. Even the kids Menu displayed in a topper on the table was greasy. For what we were billed it felt like all that was missing was to be charged for the napkins and straws. Seriously. My kids waters were $1.50/each the same cost as a kids' juice or soda. The other thing we noticed is that the menu said the kids meals were $5.99 but we were billed $6.25 for each one. No worries. The staff was nice and there was plenty of parking available as well as tables but I wouldn't go back even if they offered us a free meal. Thanks but no thanks. read more

Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious! Shrimp ceviche, filet al mojo de ajo (lightly fried filet fish with toasted garlic and butter sauce) was amazing, fish taco, even the beans were perfect and melted in your mouth! This place has great Mexican seafood. My husband and I went in with our kids. We ordered a variety of foods. My husband had the whole fried tilapia and oysters (both he said were good). I had the shrimp ceviche which was really good and a carne asada taco which was ok they used store bought corn tortillas. Two of my kids had carne asada burritos which were a nice size and my other child had the butter fried tilapia. He said it was real good. The micheladas are amazing! The wait staff was slow and not very attentive. Also the food came out at different times. Overall we really enjoyed the food and will be returning! read more
