Not sure where to start -- this place feels more like a local buffet. The food selection is just okay, not very extensive. Cleanliness was a bit concerning. The food I tried wasn't very good. If I had to pick something decent, it would probably be the soups. Everything else wasn't something I'd go back for. I had four plates, and by the last one I couldn't even finish it. I walked out still kinda hungry -- I just didn't enjoy the food or the overall environment. Service was quick. I think the biggest issue for me was the lack of cleanliness. Can you believe I've driven past this place a million times over a decade and never stopped to check it out? There is potential here, but today's experience definitely left me feeling meh at best. The place is quite large compared to what I was expecting. There are multiple stations from soups, salads, main courses, sushi and even a fruit/dessert area. We were seated right away and our drink order taken. I've never been to a buffet where you pay after, but that is how it was done here. For me prices were fair considering you could eat as much as you wanted. While I enjoyed some of the food others not so much. The small rice noodle dish I can't remember exactly what it was called was my favorite. The beef and broccoli was good as well as the banana pudding. For me the sushi tasted imitation and bland. The orange chicken, black pepper chicken and spicy chicken all tasted dry and like they'd been sitting under the heat lamp quite a while. I say this place has potential as I think if we had vo as they put the food out it would taste more fresh. We arrived at around 3 which is close to the cut off before they do dinner. There are some buffet items that were worth a second visit, and others worth avoiding altogether. First time here and I think it's a solid 3.5 experience, and I'd return when I'm the buffet mood. I love coming here with my son and any of his friends. The service for lunch is pretty hit and miss, most of the time I am lucky if I get a refill on my drink or plates picked up, but it is a buffet, so I really don't mind. I am there for the good stuff, the rest is how quickly the restaurant wants to turn over tables. They are priced affordable, around $16 for dinner and $13 for lunch. I really enjoyed their sushi bar and their teriyaki chicken skewers. My son loves their soup, noodles, fresh fruit and sushi as well. This is where we ate Christmas dinner. It was nauseating. Most of the food was obviously leftovers, heated over and over. We thought there might be something to avoid, but this was bad. The cold food was warm and even the soup was lukewarm. I won't be going back, but there was an even larger concern. I went to the bathroom, I was horrified. I have never seen a restroom so nasty, covered with black mold. There was water standing at the base of the wall that was visibly being dripped into. there is feces caulked into the toilet bases and the handles of the sink were caked with something that can't be described. What a wide variety of tasty treats, including a sushi bar, but also good sweet and sour soup, best egg foo young I've had in ages, chicken wings, plenty of vegetable dishes like string beans and broccoli (both cooked perfectly so still a nice bright green) CA rolls, shrimp, egg rolls, octopus, seaweed salad, and way too much other stuff and none of it disappointed me, although I wish all of it could have been warmer. Vegetarians could have plenty to satisfy them and I saw kids at one of the tables happily enjoying pizza. Something for everyone here and the reasonable lunch prices make it affordable too. Attentive server kept my water filled and took my emptied dishes away. The fried rice was tasteless & mushy, the beef was chewy, the chicken was dry, the shrimp was rubbery, the sushi was awful, the noodles after the first bite I had to spit out, etc. The server was attentive & so was the hostess. But you can get this service at most places. That's the reason for the 1 star, otherwise it would have been negative stars. I don't go to buffets but I decided to bc it was on my way home, and figure I'll give it a try after reading a few reviews & was craving Chinese food. Worst decision!!! Not to bad of a flavor and the staff is pretty fast at making sure you have your drink. It does upset my stomach a bit once I'm home but I think that's just me and my old age. Food is overall very well. I like the pricing averages. It's not gourmet quality but there is a few staple things like the plantains and sushi that hit every single time. The salad bar kinda strays me away and I don't know why for that matter but it doesn't look appealing. When I asked about getting a discount maybe or something he told me there's nothing he could do. I'm surprised that they open the buffet during the pandemic. They only offer dinning in, don't have outdoor setting at all, but they seems very careful. They provide disposable gloves for everyone for dinning, staffs and customers wear mask. They don't rearranged the tables at all, but it seems the customers spread out. I caught an elderly man didn't wear mask when he was getting the food at the buffet, it freaked me out for few seconds. I told to one of the staffs and she quickly addressed the problem. Although they follow the rules, but I still didn't feel comfortable to eat the food from buffet, so I ordered from the menu instead and stayed away from the buffet.
