Super good Thai! Everything we had was delicious! Green curry, pad Thai, and eggplant- yum! Rice box could be larger but no biggie.

I like this restaurant on Clayton road. Easy to park, staff are very very friendly. And the most important the food is delicious! I ordered Pad thai and sticky rice with coconut ice cream. Yummy! Last time when I went with my husband before the COVID , I ordered shrimp in clay pot, chicken salad larb, curry noodles and fried calamari. They were delicious. We thought we would have left over to take home, but they're too good and we finished them all in one meal. Try it! and you will know you find a gem on Clayton road! I will try seafood soup and crunchy tofu next time. Hope this pandemic gone soon. I do not want to order to go or delivery. My husband and I enjoy eating take out from this Thai restaurant. They are currently doing take out only and do a good job getting the food done within 20 minutes of ordering. You can call in an order or order in the restaurant and wait. I like the basil noodles and my husband likes the pad se ew. Good flavor and portions! I like the to go boxes they use because they can be saved as Tupperware. We also usually get the lumpia appetizer. Never disappoints! read more

Solid food, but confused server and terrible at estimating service time. I love to support local businesses, but I'm sad when my food takes double-triple the time to be ready (for pickup). I called in an order and was told 20 minutes (I purposely arrived 20 minutes after that time and food was still not ready). We decided to try this cute restaurant out a second time since our favorite Thai restaurant closed (BKK), and we were less than impressed. We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, probably close to when they had just opened for business that day. The temperature outside was well in to the low 90's. And so was the inside of the restaurant. The single server was less than friendly (maybe she was experiencing heat stroke?), and she left a lot to be desired. But don't worry about us tipping her appropriately- she added on an 18% gratuity for our party of "6,"- 4 adults, a four-year old, and a 2-month old. Ultimately she was incredibly rude and completely turned us off of the entire restaurant. Food. Chicken satay was terrific. The other chicken dishes were dry- both the chicken themselves and the noodles, and lacked flavor (sadly!)- pad see ew and garlic pepper chicken. The flaming beef was amazing (per three of the four of us- the 4th party member didn't care for it) and one couple ordered a duck entree and raved about it. I doubt we will be back, unless to order chicken satay to go. read more

I have been going to this place since covid started for take out. Tonight decided to order online as usual. It asks for the name of the person picking it. I put in my adult son's name as he was picking it up for me. He gets there guy in front of him picks up his order for Maria, they give it to him and he leaves. My son gives then his his license and name. They tell him he needs to show a receipt and won't give him the food. She was rude, uncalled for. His name us right on the reciept. He asks why the guy in front of him doesn't have to show any ID and just picks it up under someone else's name. They say, he ordered online. Online! So did I. Food gets home, their BBQ chicken is now satay chicken, both the chicken & penang no longer come with rice. I'm sorry, $18.99 for bad chicken over lettuce with no rice is rediculous. $14.99 for a pint of panang with 3 pieces of chicken (no rice) Count me out on going here again. read more

We highly in addition we took our friends visiting from North Carolina and Philadelphia to Koon Thai for lunches and they just loved it because of their anthem city and service. I'm very conflicted about my review . . . I ordered online for pick up and received a text saying my order would be ready in 5 minutes. Got in the car and arrived at the restaurant about 7 minutes only to wait another 30 minutes. It seemed like they were very short staff so there was no one for the first 5 minutes I was there. Once I spoke to someone, I kept getting told only a few more minutes, which turned out to be completely untrue. The food itself was a little expensive for the portion BUT it was also very very good. At a recommendation of a coworker, I went to this Thai restaurant while in the area. The selection was plentiful even with their switch from dine in to carry out only. I ordered basil stir fry with chicken and the chicken skewers appetizers. The food was tasty, flavorful, and best of all fresh. Overall would recommend. One of the best Thai restaurants in the Bay Area! Every time we order for years this place is so good. Just taste really really good!
