The lady that picked up was very kind and offered to take my order over the phone (I opted to just drive over and order in person). They do take card. They also have 3-4 booths to sit at if you decide to dine in. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. The oxtails were so good. Flavor and super tender, literally fell off the bone when i picked it up. Pieces were huge but came with a lot of fat on it. Mac n cheese was bomb. Cheesy, not super salty and not over the top. Perfect and would for sure get again. Greens were cooked perfectly, not super soggy, seasoned well, small bits of pork. I think i was missing the gravy but overall would get again. Fried catfish was good, batter wasn't hard/stiff. Shrimp was tasty. I didn't care for the oysters. Potato salad was really eggy and was probably the best side we got. French fries were just ok. Also got the peach cobbler but was way too sweet for my liking. When we got it i had to question if it was peach cobbler or yams because it was so sweet and didn't have a ton of peaches. Overall, i will be eating here again. i love a mom n pops/hole in the wall and i look forward to supporting small businesses. Though the food took a while to come out, the worker was welcoming and the food came out fresh and piping hot. Great portion for the prices. Hours may need to be updated so just call before coming in.

I really wish I had checked the bag before leaving, I would have demanded my money back. When I opened it at home, I found razor thin, rock hard pieces of something, (can't rightfully call it fish), coated in cornmeal and fried until it was inedible. Most of them have clean intestines, but do pay attention if u don't want to eat their poop. There were probably only 5 ish that had the inside of the head blackened. The mussels were gigantic and delicious. Sausage was a bit salty. Potato is delicious, as well as the corn. Sauce is really nice, spicy level is fair. The hot for me was like an enjoyable kind of hot. I do find the corn stuck in my teeth tho, maybe bring your own floss just in case. Overall very nice! Would come again.

BEWARE: Unsanitary Food. Health Code Violation Served on a Plate…read more My Dungeness crab from DoorDash arrived with dirt and barnacles still stuck to it. I understand leaving the hair, but the barnacles and dirt? It was absolutely disgusting. I brought it back to the restaurant. They offered to remake the meal for me. When I asked if they clean the crab, they said they clean out the inside. I then asked if they actually wash the dirt and barnacles off the crab. The cook inspected the crab I brought back and told the staff member helping me that it was clean and that older crabs just look like that. As you can see from the pictures attached, it was not clean. I was taken aback and told them I didn't want a remake. I just wanted a refund. I did receive a full refund through DoorDash. The staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. However, the level of cleanliness here is unacceptable. Honestly, I think the health inspector should pay them a visit. If you choose to eat here, good luck. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Even if they say the sauce is in the bag, always check the bag anyway…read more We ordered for pick up on our 30 minute break, food was ready in time, my partner asked for musubi sauce and the girl said "it's in the bag" He gets home, sure enough the sauce was definitely not in the bag. I just said to save the musubis for later so he can get the sauce on the way home from work. We had the chicken katsu plate, it was a good portion, but the katsu sauce was watered down, so disappointing. We asked for all rice this time because I just couldn't like their mac salad and it would always go to waste. I called in to notify that we didn't get any musubi sauce and the man said we have to ask for it...which we did and were told it was in the bag. He asked if I wanted to go back so I said yes, we'll get a katsu and musubi sauce. My partner went back after work and the girl was giving him a difficult time just picking it up. She kept asking "you came earlier right?" He answered yes and she didn't even want to give the katsu sauce, but ended up giving a smaller container of it. It was already an inconvenience that we had to wait to eat what was supposed to be part of our lunch, but does it hurt the business that bad to give an extra katsu sauce for having to drive back? I was going to give 4 stars since I didn't want to make a big deal over the sauce, but after I seen the small size of watered down katsu sauce and heard about the issue my partner had to deal with to get the sauces, I just don't want to get my Hawaiian food from there any longer.

I always try to resolve directly with the store 1st but they do not allow that so I went to Yelp. Anyway, this was my fav wing spot. I usually love the chicken skin for the seasoning and crispness. But, last week the salt and pepper wings tasted old like it was precooked before I ordered and then sat for way too long. Today, the chicken was SO HARD I was concerned for my teeth. It was clear they double fried (possibly) some old chicken or they have changed their recipe and process and it now tastes like trash. Most were out mostly but a few items remained. We looked again at the menu and saw bbq links. Husband inquired. Not quite what we thought bbq smoked sausage would be and my Husband informed them that we're still looking. Now we're looking at a seafood platter. Another typo. So, I confirmed the $10 2 piece fish special with 1 side and ordered that. My husband ordered the seafood platter with wings, prawns, and red snapper. Fried seemed like the best option to get a fresh dish. The wait wasn't long. The interaction between the staff and us seemed to be more at ease and welcoming once we ordered. We thought the fried items were seasoned well and plentiful but the sides were less desirable: red beans, cabbage, and greens(which were the best ). I was happy to hear that sides didn't have meat.
