The service was good, everyone there was nice. They did kinda ignore me for a bit at the door but they were a bit busy, so understandable. I do wish that they provide thicker gloves. I'm a cat owner and I do have some scratches on my hands unfortunately. And trust me it burns when it touches the hot ocean mix sauce The crawfish feels fresh, nice texture and is easy to peel. Most of them have clean intestines, but do pay attention if u don't want to eat their poop. There were probably only 5 ish that had the inside of the head blackened. The mussels were gigantic and delicious. Sausage was a bit salty. Potato is delicious, as well as the corn. Sauce is really nice, spicy level is fair. The hot for me was like an enjoyable kind of hot. I do find the corn stuck in my teeth tho, maybe bring your own floss just in case. Overall very nice! Would come again. read more

What caught my attention was the wings in a lot of the yelp photos but when I finally made it in, it no longer is there. Already turned off about that and then was not greeted by anyone, I chose to leave. They are in a busy road area but next to a closed out building that looked like a movie theater. So lots of parking space with only 2 handicap spaces. The parking slots are small though making a lot of cars park in taking up two spaces. Went during Happy Hour. The interior had a fun vibe, but the seating was a bit off -- the booth bench sat noticeably lower than the table, which made it uncomfortable. There was only one server/host working, though there were just about four tables occupied. Service was fine overall. I ordered the catfish and fries. The catfish was okay, nothing special. The fries came out without any seasoning, and there was no salt or pepper on the table. They did provide ketchup packets, tartar sauce, and lemon wedges. So found another gem of a place close to home. At first I was skeptical but we were greeted right away and they might have been short staffed but our server was really helpful and gave great recommendations. I took it as a good sign that he was smiling while telling us his favs. You could tell he loves the food. Being our first time, I think every one of us took one of his recommendations! This is a great spot for a boil! We tried the Cajun boil, the clam chowder bread bowl, a lobster roll and a crab & shrimp boil. All were delicious! The only negative was that the ac was out on one of the hottest days...but the food and service made up for it. We're going back for sure. Only gave 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. Food quality and preparation is garbage. Had fried calamari, shrimp and fish. Calamari was so tough and flavourless felt like I was chewing on my shoe. Same with the shrimp. The fish was unidentifiable, dry and so oily I could have slid it across the room on the floor and made it across the "restaurant." The service was a couple of kids, one of which could not even tell my wife what kind of dressing came with her "lobster salad." "It's orange, kind of." Was the description he gave. The portion of her lobster was about as much as you'd get from chopping up a single claw, maybe. I didn't try it, I was discouraged due to my own dish. We've always enjoyed this place as our local crab boil spot, but I specifically wanted to mention and rate their new AYCE Korean BBQ. I didn't have high expectations, but it was delicious! Unlike other popular kbbq spots, this place marinated the meat before serving us and gave us plenty and fulfilling sides. I also prefer their new tables and grill because it does remove all of that excess smoke without the overhead. Just note that when you come in you do have to choose if you're there for the seafood or for kbbq, they say it's one or the other. But we did get to order an additional appetizer of shrimp and garlic noodles to go with our kbbq. Overall glad to know there's no need to go all the way to concord for decent kbbq! read more

Came here during the week. Big parking lot that was mostly empty. We entered and were greeted and seated right away. The decorations are vibrant. Seems to have a lot going on. There is also a lot of space for large parties and enough booths. We ordered from their menu and their ahappy hour items. seafood boil came out pretty quick. Shortly after more people started to come. Our service was still great. Friendly staff. Quick service. Food was good. The seafood boil we ordered with Cajun garlic. I liked that the garlic wasn't too overwhelming. The calamari was my least favorite. But the other items were pretty good. Prices were good and pretty standard for seafood boil. The sauce lacked flavor, garlic, seasoning and thickness. It was super watery and lack luster. They didn't even bother cutting the potatoes in half. Just super huge red potatoes in the bag. Will Be coming back again 100% I came very early today , there wasn't much people, The food was very delicious, the soup was very good. I found it very infrequent that I was able to add crab meat inside the soup, most places don't normally give that option. My mother and I came through around 7PM on Sunday. My mother got the $25 seafood boil, while I stuck with a shrimp Po Boy. Wait was a tad late, with a 20 minute wait, and my mother's order didn't come with potatoes or corn, so we ordered it, even though our waiter let us know it was included. Ehh. This place has a lot to work on when it comes to their seafood boils. The flavor is just not there for me and this is just my honest opinion. I have ordered their seafood boils with shrimp, eggs potatoes and sausage and the flavor on the boil just didn't taste right. I also got calamari as an appetizer and it tastes like it was frozen and deep fried. I am hoping to give this place another chance but I hope they can improve on the flavor of their seafood boil because that's why I wanted to try them in the first place.. read more

We usually order takeout, and by the time we get there, everything is hot, fresh, and ready for pickup--super efficient! We've dined in a couple of times, and while the food was still solid, it didn't come out as fast as it does with takeout. Also, on both occasions, the service could have been better. The waitstaff wasn't as attentive as we would've liked, which took away from the dine-in experience a bit. I initially came here with the intention of ordering to go not anticipating how slow it would be on a Saturday night. I ordered a combo bucket #1 with crawfish, 3 boiled eggs, mussel, and shrimp with no head. The seasoning I had chosen was cajun garlic spice level medium. As I completed my order the young girl there told me it would be a 10 minute wait as all they had to do was boil the frozen food. I then decided to just sit in so I asked for a table as it seemed pretty calm and slow. There was good music there which made it more pleasant to sit there by myself. Once the food had arrived I realized that the seasoning didn't look as thick as I've seen in many other sea food boil places as it looked more watery. As I bit into the mussel I realized that it had almost like a rubber feel to it. It was hard for me to chew so I just ignored those afterwards. The rest of the food was alright as I was actually able to chew it but as I like continuously dipping my food into the seasoning I wish the seasoning tasted better and was thicker in consistency. No waiter came to our table so at 5:25 my husband got up and asked if we could order. Server got to our table at 5:31 and said happy hour was over and there was nothing he could do. Went here for my birthday dinner a few weeks ago. It was a rough start to the dinner but we left as satisfied customers. First you have to choose either seafood boil OR ayce kbbq not both which was a bummer because I went in with the mindset of getting both. But we decided on kbbq since that's new. Then they got our table all set but couldn't get the grill to turn on so we had to move everything to a different table. Fortunately all the staff were super nice and helped us move everything over. Our waitress explained that sides are very limited since it was new. They provided kimchi, garlic, and sauce (maybe a couple more things but can't remember). Kimchi wasn't as bright and flavorful as I'd like, but the sauce they provided was delicious. As for the meat, quality was amazing! It actually took us by surprise! The boneless short rib (I think that's what it was) was so tender. The only meat that was a little disappointing was the pork belly. I think if they served it as one piece rather than pre-sliced then it wouldn't have dried out so quickly when grilling. The staff checked on us throughout the meal to see how everything was and changed our grill a couple times. I would definitely get the kbbq again read more

When we came in, we got sat at a booth. Michael was our server and he was extremely attentive and nice. Our experience at Ocean 9 Crab was great. The ambiance was fun and the food was delicious. We ordered the spaghetti for our picky eating toddler. We were happy that they had that option and many more options on their menu. We also ordered the boiling option for shrimp & fried chicken lemon pepper flavor. The boiling shrimp with garlic butter was yummy & the LP chicken was large and tasted amazing.
