I finally decided to try this spot because I've heard great things about here. We walked in and were told to sit anywhere we like. We sat down and instantly got the menu and water to drink. The customer service was excellent! They checked in on us and made sure we're doing alright. The place was nice and clean. My man ordered shaken beef with garlic noodles and fried chicken. I had the bbq beef with garlic noodles. The food was amazing and delicious. The meat was perfect, no bones or hella fat. The noodles was great. I def wouldn't mind coming back. It's a good amount of portions too. I wouldn't mind coming again.

Discovered this place via Yelp as it was highly rated in the Brentwood area. Nice, clean joint with Asian themed decor. They have abundant parking right outside the restaurant. We arrived at about 2pm on a Sunday and got one of the few open tables. We were seated immediately and the staff brought us menus and water. Our group got the vegetable ramen, Thai fish fry, chicken ramen and the Vietnamese fish fry with garlic noodles and steamed veggies. We also shared the egg rolls. The portion size was generous and we mostly liked our entrees. The Thai fish curry had a sweet undertone which my friend didn't appreciate too much but liked the fish overall. I enjoyed the fish fry and the steamed veggies. The garlic noodles were delicious but a little greasy. Overall, would come here again if I was in the area and wanted Vietnamese.

Had a great experience at Moodles Vietnamese Kitchen! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. Our favorite dish was definitely the salt and pepper shrimp. It was crispy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor from the garlic and fresh jalapeños. We seriously couldn't stop eating it! The pho had a rich, comforting broth with plenty of meat, and both the fresh and fried spring rolls were delicious. The roasted chicken with noodles was also cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive

I'm new to the area (work related) so seeing what Brentwood has to offer and trying new food places I'm very excited for. Went to Moodles with coworkers for some Pho on a cold day. Menu items looked good and I was tempted to try some other things but I stuck with the Pho. I believe we all ordered the Eye Round Pho in either regular or large size. Two people also split the Shaken beef with garlic noodles. The broth was delicious by itself but I had to add in some classic favorites: chili oil, hoisin, bean sprouts, mint, jalapeño and lemon squeeze. I usually add two scoops of chili oil so I did the same. Man, their chili oil is spicier than other ones I have tried. Just a tip, add it slowly. I enjoy spice but two scoops was a little too much. We all left full and satisfied!

Saw the pictures and came here with my wife on a dinner date. The place is in a lot so it might seem inconspicuous but the inside is legit. Two TV's up with the playoffs on. Sat quickly and had water on the table quick. Funny as this may sound it's legit. The water came out in these nice steel cups with the small ice chips! It tasted delicious! I ordered the shaken beef garlic noodles, and my wife ordered the shrimp garlic noodles. They both were really flavorful. Like towards the end everything was cooked together at some point. We had a side of steamed veggies they literally were just that, no salt or anything else! But you gotta get the veggies in. My wife loved Moodles and said it was her new favorite spot! Needless to say we'll be back!

It's not often enough I find a place like this! It was on my radar to check out, but it was family that told me I had to go with them and try it! They already had their favorites! Each of their favorites were ordered and I suggested an item they hadn't tried. Without going into all of the details, I will just say that I was impressed with the freshness and quality of every dish! I don't doubt that all of the dishes will impress! The dish that I suggested was the Chinese Sausage Fried Rice. It is so good that we ordered a second. If you like Chinese Sausage Fried Rice, order this! Overall, a small friendly place! Warm & friendly service. The cook talked to us about the food and he stopped at all of the tables! Cheers - Eric

We recently moved to Oakley and tried a few Pho places around. We found Moodles on Yelp and went to Brentwood to check them. It's just a few miles from our house so the drive was quick. Noodle is on Sand Creek Road. Parking is abundant and the place is spacious. They have a lot of tables and chairs and the place is clean. I ordered the Spicy Beef noodle with beef, pork, Vietnamese ham, and tendon. The service is fast. I had the order within 10 minutes. I ordered the regular size and it's just right. They serve a generous amount of beef. The rice noodle is soft. The soup is not too spicy. However, you can add slices of jalapeno to get more kick. I enjoyed this meal, and it will be my go-to pho soup from now on. They also serve rice plates and I will try them next time

First time here and it was very good. My friend had went the day before and loved so we had to run it back. We order a lot more food but I forgot to take pics. Please go try and it's lots of parking available. Everyone was overly friendly and that was a win! Clean and spacious

    An exceptional Vietnamese dining experience.

Overdue review!…read more Since moving to the area, this has become one of our go-to spots especially for hangovers or afters when friends and I have had a long eventful night prior. Overall, it's a great place to eat with friends. 10/10. The service is fast, and it's self seating with menus already available on the tables, which makes everything easy and casual. I usually order beef combo pho, along with appetizers like egg rolls or spring rolls, and a jackfruit smoothie. It's actually the only place in the area that offers a jackfruit smoothie, which makes it stand out even more for me. The chili oil is also really good, not watered down or boring like at some other places. My father in law loves this spot too and always raves about it, as if we don't know about this spot, even though we do already know about it, which is pretty funny. It's his favorite place just for casual family dinner and a usual spot for birthday celebration lunch/dinner. They accept both card and cash, but there's a discount for cash payments, so I definitely recommend bringing cash if you can. It's also very family friendly. Overall, the food is consistently great and never disappointing. It's become one of our reliable regular spots.

It's an excellent place to go rather than going to a traditional dim sum restaurant. We came yesterday and filled out a sheet of their menu and how many quantities we wanted. The crispy shrimp balls were on the smaller end but they were still delicious. Their pineapple bun is also delicious and has a nice crisp texture. Their black bean spare rib with rice noodles isn't bad either but could be a bit more flavorful and seasoned more; most of the time it was bland. As far as drinks, I recommend their Hong Kong Tea (iced) and Thai tea. Both are sweetened perfectly and pairs nicely after each bite. I can't wait to come back again!

Unfortunately, my most recent experience completely changed my opinion. I ordered a roll for my daughter with no avocado and added cucumber. When we got home, the roll only had crab inside. There was no cucumber at all. I called and simply asked for a refund, but I was told the chef insisted the cucumber was in the roll, so they refused. Instead, they told me to drive back so they could remake it. After driving another 20 minutes back (40 minutes of driving total), the employee inspected the roll herself and immediately saw that there was, in fact, no cucumber. So the issue I reported from the beginning was real. What disappointed me most wasn't the mistake. Mistakes happen. It was being treated like my word wasn't trustworthy after years of supporting this business. Rather than believing a loyal customer or offering a simple refund, I had to waste my time and gas proving that the order was incorrect. It makes me wonder if one roll was really worth losing a long-time customer. Customer service is about how you handle mistakes, and unfortunately this experience left me feeling undervalued. I hope management reconsiders how situations like this are handled in the future.

She is a key reason as to why we want to keep coming back; her attitude and enthusiasm is fantastic. Me and my family enjoyed our dinner and loved every dish we ordered. Their wonton soup is an excellent choice for a starter and can be shared up to at least 3 people. The wontons are fresh and tasty, the mushrooms are chunky and complement well with the bakchoy. There's even thinly sliced red pork which adds some taste and texture to the soup. We thoroughly enjoyed their spicy Mongolian chow fun. This had some sweetness to it but also some heat which was just right. The beef was super tender! It melts in your mouth. My wife ordered the Sun Kitchen sushi special which was delicious and had big pieces. The quality of sushi here is great! My son enjoyed his bento box which consisted of teriyaki grilled chicken, salad with creamy sesame dressing and then large pieces of vegetable tempura. This is an excellent deal with a good amount of choices to choose from. Jeanette and Tony frequently stopped by to check on us and made sure our meals were good and our drinks were refilled. They are so accommodating and inviting. The music they were playing in the background was on point! They were playing smooth R&B in which me and my wife were dancing. It's spacious inside the restaurant and can hold a good amount of guests. I will say, I wish the temperature was cooler inside; it was a bit warm but didn't really bother us.
