I stopped by about 30 minutes ago for the first time in many years. I decided to check it out as I kept seeing ads on Facebook. There's a lot of seating inside and seems like a great place to hang out with family or friends to unwind. There were so many delicious drinks to choose from but I decided to go for my typical order at most boba places which is just a classic Brown Sugar Milk with boba (with 50% sweetness and extra boba). (There's also a lot of food options as well!) My order was ready in less than 5 minutes and they actually followed through with my request of "extra boba"! They gave SO much boba I was ecstatic! You'd be surprised by the amount of boba places who don't follow through with "extra boba" even if you paid extra. Also if I didn't convince you enough to head over to this boba shop -- they cooked the boba perfectly! 10/10! This place is so underrated! Come on by and support local! Came here on a whim and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and the place has a cozy vibe inside. There is a couch, tables with some games and various other seating. We both enjoyed the banh mi. My daughter liked the mango slush, although it was very sweet. Next time I'll ask if they can adjust sweetness. The chocolate Oreo smoothie was also good. I was skeptical about ordering their sugarcane juice but to my surprise, it was comparable to that of popular sugarcane juice spots in San Jose. The juice was refreshing and sweet. Maybe I came on an off-day but Tea Spot was not great. The milk tea did not have a strong enough tea flavor, it was overly sweet and the boba itself was hard and not cooked well. I'm glad others like it though. I feel like there's much better boba places. read more

You cannot order the percentage of sweetness with this drink, but the sweetness was perfect. Definitely a winner! Brown Sugar iced coconut Milk w/ mango boba - 5/5 The flavor was perfect. Excellent drink. Honey boba needed to be made (takes about 10-15 mins), so sub with mango popping boba. The mango popping boba was delicious, but the honey boba wolves matched better. Pork Loin (Roast Pork) Bahn Mi sandwich - 5/5 Excellent sandwich. The bread was very delicious. The crunch was perfect and the pork loin and veggie condiments completed the overall flavor just right. I would order this sandwich again. Honey BBQ Pork (Char SIU Pork) sandwich 5/5 The char sui made this sandwich pop. The veggie condiments, sauce, along with the delicious bread makes this sandwich excellent. It's great to know that there is a very good Vietnamese bahn mi sandwich cafe that also serves excellent drinks in Brentwood. Tea Spot is great, but I've found that my drinks aren't often mixed super well so I have to take them home and blend them again myself. I love their Taro King milk tea, it's really good and they have non-dairy options available. They also have sandwiches and small bites that are actually pretty good. I like their popcorn chicken and the sauce that comes with it. Sometimes wait times can be a little long, even when there aren't that many people in the café. Presumably because they get a lot of takeout orders and DoorDash orders! I honestly like this spot a lot, it's worth a try. It's far better than any chain! My husband picked up much needed drinks on a hot day. We both ordered the Winnie the Pooh but mine was subbed with boba instead of lychee jelly. The drinks were not too sweet and the boba was soft and fresh. The menu has a variety of drinks that includes many fruity flavors that I would like to try. They also have bahn mi sandwiches and snacks like popcorn chicken. We were a bit disappointed with the popcorn chicken as they reminded us of nuggets and not popcorn style. I love Tea Spot! They have the best handmade taro drinks in Brentwood. My two go-to drinks here are the handmade taro, ( with the best real taro chunks!) and the coconut smoothie ( just soooo good.) They make their drinks not to sweet and their boba is chewy and bouncy. The service is good, other than the fact that it takes a little longer than other boba places, but it's clearly worth it because you can see them make your drink fresh! Coming in, the first thing i noticed was one of the employees not wearing a mask and the other not wearing any gloves, which is concerning for sanitary purposes especially during this time. I ordered the ding dong oolong milk tea with creamer and egg pudding. The egg pudding was a bit hard but the drink overall was delicious, it's probably my new favorite drink! The pork roll was good, but not my personal favorite. I was concerned about how they made my sandwich without wearing any gloves. Overall, i plan to come back to this place in the future but only to try more of their drinks. After waiting over 20 minutes I left because I had to go pick up my daughter. A waste of $16 but I don't even want to go back to get the drinks after reading reviews about their horrible hygiene. Came here after work, heard about it from my boss. This place is genius! I can't believe I didn't know about it earlier. We met up with some friends around the area and came across Tea Spot. They have interesting names for their drinks and I decided to try the "winnie the pooh". It was very vibrant and pretty looking. After a couple years of being a returning customer, I can guarantee that the quality of their food and beverages and quality of experience has been maintained. Order through Yelp and went to pick up my order. After letting the owner know i was there to pick up my order, he went to add ice to the drinks. As he added ice to my drink, it looked like he added too much ice and proceeded to remove and rearrange ice from my drink WITH HIS BARE HANDS after handling the register. We even made eye contact right after he did that and decided after that, I no longer going there :( I went there 1 time before and actually enjoyed the banh mi (which he also made with his bare hands ‍) and the coconut taro sago drink.
