The service is A1, family friendly and genuine. This place has seen me grow from my LMC college days to my full time career. The Staff has supported me over that time. Chill is a spot I will support fully. I appreciate everything they do for Brentwood and give it a chance if you are thinking about it, seriously.

This place is super cute and radiates the best "good vibes" the East East Bay has to offer. I stopped by after hiking over at Los Vaqueros Reservoir, and it was the perfect post-trail reward. Here is why you need to go: * The Service: Evette is an absolute gem! She is wonderful to speak to and such a kind, welcoming person. She truly makes the experience special. * The Matcha: Their iced matcha with oat milk was delicious--perfectly balanced and refreshing. * Dietary Heaven: They are incredibly inclusive with vegan and gluten-free options. The Bingka was fantastic! It's so rare to find gluten-free treats that taste this good. Whether you're a local or just passing through after a day in nature, I highly recommend stopping in. It's a great atmosphere to relax and refuel. I'll definitely be back!

This Hawaiian French restaurant is something out of LA, San Francisco, or even Honolulu/Waikiki. Such a great brunch spot! The interior decor is like a ruined old-French still quarter building with the visuals of balconies just like Paris. There are even classic vintage French poster prints on the wall with an island touch of plants hanging and the music of Polynesian reggae in the background. The menu is great with lots of items to choose from as well as a wine list. We started with a mimosa carafe with 5 different juice flavors to choose from like mango, strawberry, passionfruit, orange, etc. I ordered their Loco Moco which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I did love the way they cooked my burger patty (medium), so it had some nice char texture. My friend ordered the garlic shrimp with coconut fried rice. This tasted delicious and very authentic. It was better than some dishes I actually had in Hawaii. The French toast was regular and tasted nothing different than other's I've tried. It was toasted more than the usual to give it some crispy texture in which I loved. Overall, this bistro is phenomenal, and I will definitely take my family here for brunch next time. Their service is quick and very attentive which is important. Even though the place got packed up, the two employees frequently checked on people. I want to try more, and I'll be back soon.

It's available in various independent ice cream shops across the country, with a list on their website. Cool Spot in Brentwood is a purveyor of this ice cream - so we had to stop by and try it out! This place was a find - 23 different super premium ice cream flavors! We were struck dumb and just stared at all the choices; how to make up our minds? Finally, my wife chose the Vanilla Bean and Yippee Skippee. I had Cappuccino Break, also with the Yippee Skippee. Yippee Skippee was delicious, a unique combination of peanut butter ice cream with salted caramel, brownies and chocolate covered pretzels. Also surprising was my wife's Vanilla Bean, a rich, flavorful vanilla - not the boring vanilla ice cream we have had in the past. Cool Spot has a good amount of shared parking, and ample seating inside. They also serve coffee, hot chocolate, slushies and make fresh cookies right there. The cookies were baking and smelled divine but alas weren't ready yet by the time we had to go. Next time we'll have to try them as well.
