We just moved to Oakley and were surprised to see Dutch Bros while driving down Main St in Oakley. We've been to their Martínez and enjoyed their coffee. This place is smaller in size than the one in Martinez. We ordered online and the wait was 15 minutes. By the time I went to the window to pick up, I saw a long line of cars in que to get to the drive-thru. It was a weekend so there were more customers. I suggest you order online to avoid the long lines at the drive-thru. It's a little quicker. I ordered the Golden Eagle with Espresso, Caramel & Vanilla Breve w/ Caramel Drizzle. This particular franchise seriously needs a lot of work. People don't know what they're doing. Lines are everywhere from the parking lot to the self pickup window. People were also ordering from the window and I kept being told your drinks are going to be up in 2 minutes which they never were. I had an order yesterday that should have been ready by 1:30 (I used the app to pre order). I got it at approximately 1:47. I kept telling them I have an appointment at 1:45. All I ordered were 2 simple club soda drinks, it wasn't some elaborate coffee concoction. Supposedly there's one opening in Brentwood 5 minutes from my house I might give them a try but if they operate the same way as Oakley on Main St, hard pass. read more

I came to the Dutch Bros in Oakley around 4:30 p.m. and ordered a drink. By about 4:45 p.m. I received it, but decided to head back around and kindly ask for a remake. I want to make it clear that I was not rude in asking. Unfortunately, I didn't end up getting my remake until 5:23 p.m.meaning I waited around for roughly 30 minutes with no clear communication about where my drink was. I even asked about it, but no one seemed to know. The cashiers were kind and did what they could, but overall I felt neglected while standing there, especially since the line wasn't very long at the time. The drinks here can be a hit or miss. I've had good experiences before, but this one was disappointing. Since moving here in Oakley, I never heard or tried Dutch Bros. When driving I noticed the place and saw a huge line of cars then wondering what was all the hype about. I googled and checked out all of the unique flavors they had such as coffee, energy drink, lemonade, sparkling soda, ice tea, smoothie, etc. The first flavor I tried was the salted caramel protein mocha. OMG the flavor was so amazing and I thought way better than Starbucks. Another time I tried was the dutch love rebel energy drink and also amazing! I've been coming to the same location for years and have grown to remember the team members who work here, at nearly all hours of the day. They are a smaller team and operate out of a smaller hub, so you can expect for them to get REALLY busy. Nonetheless, a majority of my online orders are ready within 5-10 minutes. Only a few times I had to cancel, but the line was backed up towards the gas station. The team will remember your face and orders, which makes it a little more enjoyable that your small local can do that. The whole team have always been very polite and helpful. What was our go to since moving here in Oakley in Nov '21 is no longer our go too, sadly. Wait times were tolerable up until the last few months. I've waited in the drive thru line for about 30 minutes from start to order. We've waited over 30 minutes and up to an hour for mobile orders. And today, waited about 10 minutes at the window without being acknowledged or greeted. I proceeded to ask the lady in front of me if she had ordered and she stated she hadn't and had been waiting for 15 minutes. We both ended up leaving without ordering anything. As a previous review said, the vibes or attitude of the employees have changed too. We come here a lot so we would see a lot of the same faces. There's been an influx of new staff and now I rarely see the same faces we normally did. Drinks have been hit or miss and seem like they are half assed by whoever is making them. With all that being said, we will not be visiting this location anymore. Sad to say it but it's not worth the time and don't feel good about spending our money there anymore. read more

We stopped by this location on our way to visit my Aunt and Uncle in Rio Vista. Goodness, the line was looong when we arrived, but there were 2 broistas that were taking orders while we were waiting. From the end of the line where we were to the window where we received our drinks took roughly 30 minutes, but it was worth it. Love the nutty Irishman and the palm beach rebel. This place is busy 90% of the time so anytime I pass by and it's not busy I have to get something ! Staff are always friendly with a smile and give good recommendations if you're unsure or want to try something new. From the moment I pulled up, she had an incredibly rude attitude and made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. There was no friendliness, no welcome -- just cold, dismissive behavior that left me shocked. I've heard great things about Dutch Bros, especially about the upbeat and positive customer service, so this was a major letdown. This place is always BUSY! Staff are very nice and accommodating. I ordered on the app for easy and quick curbside pickup. It is a blessing and so easy to use however the customization on blended drinks can be updated to add sugar-free syrups. I tried the iced caramel pumpkin Brulé and it was yummy. There is suitable parking spaces here but looks to be designed as a drivethru-style coffee pickup station. I was really confused on what to order as there is no big display for menu items when waiting in line inside a vehicle unless you walk up to the actual building. Luckily, there is an app available for download so when I return I will definitely opt in for ordering through there as I assume a full menu will be available. The lady outside taking orders was very friendly and took her time with explaining some of the menu items as well as offering some of her recommendations which really left a good impression of their service. I gave this golden eagle a couple sips and can imagine why this place is popular. I recently just started coming here because Starbucks wasn't making my drinks correctly, I live near this DB location now so I've been stopping by and, I haven't had a bad drink yet. I never try new things, or it's rare that I do, I've had a different drink every time and they're all wonderful. It may not be my cup of tea but the flavoring and how it's made, it's so good. I'm less than 10 drinks in and they're all delicious. The long line makes up for the customer service and the drink. The service is so fast, I was at a concord location & the drink came WAY sooner than expected. Idk what it is but the service is top tier. I've been going to the Dutch Bros since they opened, this location hasn't been good since the first crew! Takes forever to make your drinks, are rude when you ask for any changes to your drink when made wrong, and their customer service is absolutely terrible! When walking up to the walk up window, you would expect your order to be made first, but apparently they like to make you wait for everybody in the drive-through to get their drink first! This has happened to me every time I walk up to the window, they serve all of the people in their cars before they serve any of the people at the window. I don't think it's right to put the drive-through first when you have people that have been waiting 20 to 30 minutes at the window for their. I've been told by them to contact customer service, customer service does absolutely nothing and nothing changes at this location. I hope the Hillcrest location puts this one out of business, or maybe that the employees and staff can figure out a better system because reading other comments on here it seems like this is a recurring theme read more

First time coming here because my friend recommended me to download the app to get a free medium size drink. We ordered the Dutch bro's faves: Golden eagle which was a vanilla coffee iced with the caramel drizzle and the double torture which was iced and had whip cream on it/ vanilla mocha. Both were amazing and my husband loved it. It is better than Starbucks! The sizes to the drinks were perfect. The bad part is staying in the line because it was so long but other than that, totally recommend going!! read more
