We just moved to Oakley and were surprised to see Dutch Bros while driving down Main St in Oakley. We've been to their Martínez and enjoyed their coffee. This place is smaller in size than the one in Martinez. We ordered online and the wait was 15 minutes. By the time I went to the window to pick up, I saw a long line of cars in que to get to the drive-thru. It was a weekend so there were more customers. I suggest you order online to avoid the long lines at the drive-thru. It's a little quicker. I ordered the Golden Eagle with Espresso, Caramel & Vanilla Breve w/ Caramel Drizzle. We get dutch bros at least once a week, the kids and I love it as a treat for ourselves but after a recent experience I don't really want to go back, which is a shame because they are usually always so helpful and friendly. But my husband went out of his way Wednesday morning before work to stop and get us the cute little froggy keychain at 5am the line was long and he was worried about being late but did it anyways. told the guy he was ordering from he was getting a drink to get us the keychain and when he got to the window they handed him his drink and they told him if he wanted the key chain he needed to order a medium at least. he had no clue and the person he ordered from did not tell him knowing that's why he was there. He said I'll pay the difference for a medium and you don't have to make a new drink we just want the key chain. They said no if you want the key chain you can go wait back in line and order again, the line was still crazy long and he had already waited a long time the first time so he just left. When we got out of the house in the morning to try and get one they were all gone. We are so disappointed and understand the policy I just wish the person that my husband had ordered from had told him. read more

Since moving here in Oakley, I never heard or tried Dutch Bros. When driving I noticed the place and saw a huge line of cars then wondering what was all the hype about. I googled and checked out all of the unique flavors they had such as coffee, energy drink, lemonade, sparkling soda, ice tea, smoothie, etc. The first flavor I tried was the salted caramel protein mocha. OMG the flavor was so amazing and I thought way better than Starbucks. Another time I tried was the dutch love rebel energy drink and also amazing! This particular franchise seriously needs a lot of work. People don't know what they're doing. Lines are everywhere from the parking lot to the self pickup window. People were also ordering from the window and I kept being told your drinks are going to be up in 2 minutes which they never were. I had an order yesterday that should have been ready by 1:30 (I used the app to pre order). I got it at approximately 1:47. I kept telling them I have an appointment at 1:45. All I ordered were 2 simple club soda drinks, it wasn't some elaborate coffee concoction. Supposedly there's one opening in Brentwood 5 minutes from my house I might give them a try but if they operate the same way as Oakley on Main St, hard pass. read more

I came to the Dutch Bros in Oakley around 4:30 p.m. and ordered a drink. By about 4:45 p.m. I received it, but decided to head back around and kindly ask for a remake. I want to make it clear that I was not rude in asking. Unfortunately, I didn't end up getting my remake until 5:23 p.m.meaning I waited around for roughly 30 minutes with no clear communication about where my drink was. I even asked about it, but no one seemed to know. The cashiers were kind and did what they could, but overall I felt neglected while standing there, especially since the line wasn't very long at the time. The drinks here can be a hit or miss. I've had good experiences before, but this one was disappointing. I hope management can work on improving communication and timeliness when it comes to remakes so customers don't feel ignored. read more

I love the Ninja Turtle ( Iced mint mocha made with chocolate milk), I've been ordering that for years and it's my go-to! I also have been addicted to their orange cranberry muffin tops, I get a few when I'm here so I can eat them throughout the week! We stopped by this location on our way to visit my Aunt and Uncle in Rio Vista. Goodness, the line was looong when we arrived, but there were 2 broistas that were taking orders while we were waiting. From the end of the line where we were to the window where we received our drinks took roughly 30 minutes, but it was worth it. I've been coming to the same location for years and have grown to remember the team members who work here, at nearly all hours of the day. They are a smaller team and operate out of a smaller hub, so you can expect for them to get REALLY busy. Nonetheless, a majority of my online orders are ready within 5-10 minutes. Only a few times I had to cancel, but the line was backed up towards the gas station. The team will remember your face and orders, which makes it a little more enjoyable that your small local can do that. The whole team have always been very polite and helpful. What was our go to since moving here in Oakley in Nov '21 is no longer our go too, sadly. Wait times were tolerable up until the last few months. I've waited in the drive thru line for about 30 minutes from start to order. We've waited over 30 minutes and up to an hour for mobile orders. And today, waited about 10 minutes at the window without being acknowledged or greeted. I proceeded to ask the lady in front of me if she had ordered and she stated she hadn't and had been waiting for 15 minutes. We both ended up leaving without ordering anything. As a previous review said, the vibes or attitude of the employees have changed too. We come here a lot so we would see a lot of the same faces. There's been an influx of new staff and now I rarely see the same faces we normally did. Drinks have been hit or miss and seem like they are half assed by whoever is making them. With all that being said, we will not be visiting this location anymore. Sad to say it but it's not worth the time and don't feel good about spending our money there anymore. read more

I ended up ordering a medium Kicker which is described as an Irish Cream Breve. Tbh I was surprised when I got it because medium is MASSIVE! It might as well have been an extra large size with how huge it was but I get the plus size is more value for your dollar? The Kicker was really sweet so if you like sweet coffee, this is definitely for you. It tasted more like a dessert instead of coffee which was alright for me. Kinda wish it had more bitter tones or a stronger coffee flavor but it could be just the drink I ordered. Overall not bad but not sure if it's worth the 30 minutes for me! read more
