It's definitely more of a fast-food-style Mexican restaurant, but we always know what to expect. The food is consistently good, and the burritos and seafood are our family favorites. The staff is always friendly, and the prices are reasonable, we always leave satisfied. The atmosphere can get a little loud inside, so when the weather is nice, we prefer sitting outside. My least favorite part is the salsa bar, but that's more of a personal preference. I have a hard time enjoying the salsa, peppers, and radishes knowing they're self-serve and so many people have been around them. Overall, La Costa is a longtime Oakley staple for our family. Good prices, consistent food, friendly service, and a place we continue coming back to.

We went around 7 or 8pm thru the drive thru and ABSOLUTELY worst experience ever. They must have all the youngsters working the night shifts because we could hear them all laughing in the background of the intercom when the man was trying to take our order. The person on the intercom wasn't even paying attention to my husband when he said what he wanted to order, it was like the worker was more focused what was going on in the background then the customer in the line. he even asked us to repeat our order multiple times cause he couldint hear and we heard him laughing which my husband just pulled up to the window. Everyone in that kitchen was just laughing having a blast while we spent 10 minuets trying to order having the worker making up repeat what we said and he's laughing in the background as well while we're frustrated When we confronted him it turns out he spoke little to NO English at all, thankfully my husband was fluent in Spanish and it was almost like he didn't even speak ANY Spanish at all?!? My husband asked him if he spoke English or Spanish and the worker replied with spanish, and when he spoke to him in Spanish the worker acted confused and acted like he ain't understand a single word my husband was saying. (For the record my husband is from Michoacán) Absolutely terrible experience we would not be going here again, the manager was no where to be found and seems to be as childish as the rest of them, scheduling all the friends together instead of the hard working staff who actually do a good job.

The container was huge, and it was full! 3 scoops of rice, a small bed of cabbage, and so much beef! The side chicken was also a good amount of chicken on a bed of cabbage. The rice was well done. Nothing crazy. The beef? AMAZING! So much beef and so flavorful, slightly sweet and salty, and savory, AND umami. The beef itself had a good bite to it & seemed like quality meat. The chicken was also very good - moist, flavorful, and tender. I couldn't even finish my meal! I have a good amount of beef and 1 scoop of rice leftover, perfect for tomorrow! 10/10 great place!

It's a place of happiness, nostalgia, and déjà vu, one bite and suddenly I'm reminded of so many wonderful childhood memories! I'm so happy that we have Jollibee close to us here around Brentwood. Whenever I'm craving comfort food, I already know where to go! The Chickenjoy is AMAZING... crispy and flavorful on the outside, juicy and tender inside. Honestly, it's still one of the BEST fast-food fried chickens for me! And the Jolly Spaghetti? Forever a favorite! That sweet, savory Filipino-style sauce is something you just can't compare to regular spaghetti. And of course, you cannot leave without the Peach Mango Pie! Crispy, warm, sweet, and dangerously addictive. I could probably eat several in one sitting! My only advice: bring a little patience, especially when it's busy. Sometimes the wait can be longer because they get so many customers and large orders--but honestly, I can't blame people for ordering in bulk! Good food is worth waiting for. Jollibee will always have a special place in my heart. It brings back memories of growing up, family, happiness, and home. I will ALWAYS come back.
