I have heard about this place from a few people and decided to try it out today since I was passing through the area. I absolutely loved everything about this burger it's the best burger I have ever had at a restaurant before. The single patty smash burger was cooked to perfection. Crispy on the edges and juicy in the middle the burger was so big it had an extra inch or so over lapping the bun . I added mushrooms and fresh Jalapeños for just $1 more. Do yourself a favor and get you a Chef Jeff smash burger. It's hands down my new favorite place to get a burger and I don't live in Antioch I will drive for a burger that delicious. read more

Dine in and delivery review let's get into it! OK so sometimes I will make a review off my first time because it was either a hit or Miss .... sometimes I wait to make a review just to make sure I am being honest and giving authentic opinions. I have dined in twice and ordered on DoorDash once. OK so for dining review it is a small storefront. There's a few parking spaces in the front . there's table seating inside. It's a very small storefront , but it looks clean inside . The waiters and workers were very polite . the burgers are the reason why I waited to make my review is because I wanted to make sure that I was giving my honest opinion so overall I give them a four out of five if you are a meat lover you appreciate good quality meat whether it is steak chicken hamburger Philly cheesesteak ect . I've seen alot of other different reviews and I will say this ! the burgers are good. They don't need to be overly seasoned because it's good quality meat. You also get good quality bread and ingredients! Even the onion rings were thick cut ! you can tell not frozen premade onion rings . They are very hearty and accommodating with the toppings that you ask for I always get a double smash with extra cheese, mushrooms and grilled onions and they never disappoint whether I'm walking into the store or ordering it for Delivery. I would definitely recommend this burger spot if you're a simple person that likes a good burger that doesn't need all the fancy fixings but still appreciate a good quality burger. I will definitely recommend coming to this place. The fries are good. They have combo deals. Definitely give them a try. Remember GOOD MEAT DOESNT NEED TO BE EXTRA SEASONED OR SALTY ! Back to Chef Jeff's two weeks ago. Burgers, fries, onion rings and sodas for two people was about $34, which IMO is a good price. I don't understand the review that said his single burger meal was $30. We (2 of us) think this is the best burger place we've ever been to, and even tho we live in Antioch, we eat out in the Sacramento/Folsom area often. The burgers are flavorful and juicy, buns are fresh, and fries and onion rings awesome. Service is excellent, staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, as stated before, and the place is clean. I have been on the hunt for not just a good burger but a great burger. One that stands above the rest. I've been to all the places HD, the yard, melt, Cali Burgers, counter, shake shack. They all make a good burger. This place sits above them all. The simple menu tells you they want to be excellent at their craft. If you can order a burger and not have to put any condiments on it and it's juicy and savory that's epic. The service was spot on they came out and asked how I liked it. Everything is made to order and it was worth the wait. Shake was even better than most places too. I will be bringing the family back here and telling my friends. Didn't want a burger, but my son was craving "Jeff's" smash burger. I had never been before, drove past many times, now I know why the craving. Went in this past Friday, again not there for me, son ordered his smash burger with onion rings (no extra charge like most places) and a shake, Jeff's wife (Elise I believe) asked if I was having anything, no. Then I saw the limited time Patty Melt. My favorite, but no one makes a good patty melt anymore. I was right, no one makes a good patty melt, it was AWESOME. The bread, of course on traditional rye, was grilled to perfection, not toasted, yes grilled I say. Onions sautéed just enough to still have a slight crunch to them. The burger, oh the burger, crisp, charred edges, meat juicy and loaded with flavor, cheese melted, just as the name implies. Ordered the garlic fries, slight up charge, if you like garlic fries, pay for it, yum! My son's chocolate shake, made in a real metal shake container with real ice cream, and you even get the extra (confession I drank it OMG). Impeccable service start to finish. Incredible food from the first bite to the last. I could not finish it all, so my sister, who does NOT like patty melts by any means, decided to give it a try, should I say a finish. After her first bite, then a second one, she asks "is this for me, can I have it, the whole thing?" Yes, yes and yes. Chef Jeff you have converted her, you make a mean melt. We did take our food to go, it did not lack in taste, flavor or staying hot. The cheese on the smash burger was so creamy and melty, yes, I said melty, melt in your mouth creamy goodness. If you're a snob about patty melts like me, Chef Jeff has got you covered, but only for a limited time, it's on the sign.
