This pains me to give this review. I am a construction assistant superintendent who doesn't get much time for his lunches and barely gets hot food. I have loved In-N-Out, my whole life and today I have to give a bad review, not only to the restaurant but to the manager. Today when I arrived, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was greeted by very friendly staff and a clean location[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], but in the background, the manager kept praising how quickly they were putting out food. I understand that time is of the essence, but pushing too fast, sometimes creates more problems and rework. When my coworker and I went to get ketchup, one of the ketchup dispensers was dispersing a water down monstrosity that was extremely awful. I had to go get management and share with them because I like to support locations and companies that I love. After waiting a reasonable amount of time, my burger was ready and so is my coworkers, but when the manager walked up, he took my fries from my meal that was about to be handed to me and gave them to somebody in the drive-through. He then let my burger sit there and get cold while I waited an additional five minutes for my fries. When they did give me fries, they were extremely undercooked, limp, and absolutely the worst I've ever had In-N-Out in my whole life. Up until now, I have always known quality with In-N-Out but whoever this manager that is overseen operations in Antioch at 11 AM does not have the ability to manage quality and quickness. This was hands-down, the worst meal that I've ever had at any In-N-Out, in fact, I've never had a bad meal in over 30 years, in my youth I would drive to LA just to get in and out and today I can honestly say that I will never eat at this location again. Lint fries, a cold 3 x 3 burger and water down ketchup. Ask someone who builds $11 million luxury, hotels and homes. I can tell you that neglecting quality from the start always leads to rework. If I wasn't pressed for time, I would've had them remake the whole meal and it would've been much better but unfortunately, because at least 50 to 75 workers depend on my skill to continue the job scope I had to just take the worst food I've ever had an In-N-Out. The last thing I'll say about this is after he realized he made a mistake. He tried to create small talk to smooth over the lack of quality judgment rather than just say hey let me remake your food. It's gonna be a few extra minutes, but you're gonna get the best quality I can give you. He intentionally chose to just give me horrible food and try to laugh it off and then praise the drive-through for being faster, but neglected to provide quality to the people who come in and sit down. read more

Dont come if you want food poisoning, a staff was seen touching all over the kitchen (fridge doors, pots etc.) all with the same gloves THEN proceeds to touch all on the fries YOU GUYS EAT!!!! Not only that ...it gets worse... miss lady threw a piece of paper away and touched the top of the trash pile ... and then proceeded to touch the fries again ,bagging them up. They served us pretty fast but when my mom tried to ask for more ketchup -- politely, I might add -- the person who had passed by just ignored her and purposely didn't make eye contact with us. I laughed and said rather loudly, "she hella ignored you!" The burger patty was nearly non existent it was so small and all the produce was floppy and not fresh looking and was missing pickles. Just wow. Ok so we love these burgers and fries and service. But I've recently experienced what In-N-Out corporate is like and I am soooo impressed! Their customer service goes above and beyond! I recently went thru the drive thru and noticed my 7-up was not sweet, the syrup part wasn't working and it was all soda. So when I got home I called just to let them know. I wasn't upset but wanted to make it nicer for the next person. I evidently got a corporate person and they personally answered immediately (which is a miracle in of itself!) and when I told them what happened they apologized, said they would let the branch know and asked if they could send me a gift card for my trouble. I said sure, and I was a little dumbfounded. Sure enough, I got 2 gift cards for 2 full meals in the mail along with a signed nice letter thanking me for letting them know and apologizing again. Today they called me to ask if my experience when I used the gift cards was a good one and was there anything else they could do for me. Whaaaaaat!? WOW! I've loved In-N-Out Burger for a very long time. All I can say is that the menu and the taste of the burger has not changed. Still very good and has not lost that twang (that special sauce). One thing I learned about this place recently though is that they do not have bacon or out BACON in their burgers, good to know right? If you know In-and Out you would know they have other things they serve that's not on the menu but I can't tell you :). You'll have to find out for your self. So I went through the drive thru and it was pretty fast. Literally in-n-out. Living up to its name. The girl at the window was all smiles which is what we all want to see when at the drive thru.
