Had the Monty Burger which has Monterrey Jack cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and pickle but added grilled onions. I came here with my family of 5. My husband and I came here when we first moved to Antioch in 2018 and we loved it not sure why it took us 8 years to come back! I haven't been here for also twenty years. Don't know why, but it won't be another till I come again. I must have forgotten how great these burgers are. I brought my wife and my 9yr old grandson here after a skating trip at Paradise skate. I remember the Willy because I brought my son here when he was 14 and took on the Willy challenge. He failed . The place hasn't changed at all. It's a small place, Maybe 8 tables and counter seating. It shows a little age (being 78yrs old) but it was very clean. So now to the food. My grandson ordered the Hazel Burger (two patties) and fries combo, my wife and I split a hamburger and ordered a side of onion rings. My grandsons burger was ordered plain, bun burgers and cheese. It was huge 5/5 The fries portion of the combo, they were huge too. All three of us shared them and there was still some to take home. 5/5 Our simple hamburger was perfect. The bun was toasted and the edges had a nice crunch but not burnt, patty cooked to medium, fixing, just the right amount of shredded lettuce, tomato pickles and condiments 5/5 As for the onion rings, there was 9 in the basket. They were a 3/5. The coating was too crunchy and a few were doubled up so the batter didn't cook all the way though. Unfortunately they are not open on Sundays. Would love to come here after church. Oh well, will have to stop by again during my Costco runs. Lastly, before we left, two gentlemen sat at the counter and ordered the Willy to spit so my grandson got to see how huge it was. This is a greedy spoon worth a visit. Located in a small building this burger joint makes great tasting burgers. One of their signature burger is a Willy Burger. Willy must be a 2 lb 10" round monstrosity and great tasting burger. In addition to the Willy, we also got hazel burger and bacon cheeseburger deluxe. The burgers here are amazing. The service was great and our server took great care of us. They do have some parking available around the building. read more

Food was so amazing and at such a good price. I'm so impressed. We got the hazel burger double with fries, the Willy burger, and a three piece chicken tenders. Burgers were great. Spoil alert, they have the good thick cut bacon! Needed just a little salt but otherwise food was wonderful. Service was excellent and fast. We couldn't dine in due to it being so close to closing when we went but our cashier was nice. We seen the Willy pictures and she came out and showed us the buns. It was sweet. I was amazed of the huge burger they sell, its like the size of someone's face. The burger tasted great and their fries are crispy. If you want something sweet, their milkshakes don't disappoint. I was unsure of having the cherry flavored one, however when I tried it I was speechless because of how good it was. Best hamburger I've had in a decade at least! I got the hazel, which is 2 quarter pound patties with the works, and fries. The patties are hand formed and smashed just enough to get a nice crust, all of the toppings were fresh and delicious, and the owner and staff were super friendly. This is such a cute, hole-in-the-wall type of place. And those are oftentimes the best-hidden gems. We had the following: Cheeseburger = 10/10 Frings = 10/10 Chocolate shake = 20/10!!! All the food was fresh and made to order. The burger was huge and tasty. The frings were fried perfectly. But, the star of the show was their shake. I saw them scooping out the ice cream for it, and using the old-school milkshake machine, so you know it was going to be amazing and it did not disappoint. Usually great experience! I'm not sure if it was one of those days or what ! But customer service was HORRIBLE !!!! They have a new way of placing orders, you make a phone call , they text you back with a link and you place your order online. I place my order at 12:09pm they email me and gave me a confirmation that it was ready by 12:34pm I got there promptly (keep in mind I'm on lunchtime) I asked for my order & the girl that works there takes a minute to tell me that my order is not done because they couldn't do it on a French roll (which it was an online option), & that she supposed to call me but got busy and forgot ... if I still wanted or if I want a refund? Obviously I wanted my order , at no point she apologized nor seem to care...and they weren't even busy !!!! The food is good as always, the people that work in the back are nice, but this girl has no manners , no customer service skills. read more

I ate half of my bacon cheese burger and half my fries I got VERY VERY SICK! Hazel's is a cute little drive in with delicious options. My spouse and I stopped by for some burgers and to check out this local establishment. Hazel's is a small shop but there is plenty of space for 20ish people at the same time. There is enough parking available so no issues there either. There was one table finishing their meal when we arrived. It seems like a lot of people order for pick-up/take out but the weather was great when we visited and had a great cozy vibe. Since this was the first visit, we wanted to try a few different items to get a feel of the food. We order Captain Crunch Berry Malts, Willy burger combo, cheeseburger deluxe, and Fran fries. Captain Crunch Berry Malt - delicious and worth every penny, Hazel's should consider also doing a cinnamon toast crunch flavor because that would to die for Willy burger combo - LARGE (had to take have of it home and it's likely 2 meals of leftovers), fresh, properly grilled onions Cheeseburger deluxe - lots of meat, fresh, great flavor Fran fries - fran-tastic lol nacho cheese, grilled onions, Philly steak meat and jalapenos are a prefect combo Staff is friendly and quick. Not a lot of small talk which is fine by us, especially since they had pick up orders trickling in the whole time we were there. Took my daughter Mac to Hazel's in Antioch after telling her for years that this spot had a monster "BIG WILLY BURGER"! This burger is GIANT.... Each patty ways 1lbs. And is the size of 4 whoppers. Had them cut it in half for starters and she CRUSHED it!!!! Let's just say that the food and staff her are always amazing and consistent. What a great lunch date with my special little monkey. Good food with great prices, I've been eating here for over 30 years, consistently getting the Hazel Burger basket and a cherry milkshake. The burgers are well made and so are the fries, I just wish they offered different sizes in milkshakes, as I usually finish mine before getting the food home to my family. The dining area is small but also has bar seating (no alcohol is served), and a couple of outdoor picnic tables for nice days. read more

Literally the best burger in the bay. For the price of Carl's Jr, you get the best burger you've ever had here. Shop is small and we've seen it too busy to get a seat before but it's always clean.
