***** best breakfast ever ***** its a lotta food always fresh and served hot. the omelettes are my favorite they are humongous enough for two people to share. you will not be disappointed here. service: excellent price: inexpensive -- worth more food: delicious quality: excellent ambiance: diner vybe parking: busy lot

One of my favorites for breakfast... The Jumbo Dumbo. I added a side of linguica! Fat boy approved!

The breakfast is always on point! I get the Jumbo Dumbo or the AJ's omelet. The service is always on point and the ambiance is like being at home. They just need to update the inside. Never had anything else here but breakfast.

Well well well. What a treat. Our server had worked there for 30 years. Super cute intimate restaurant for a delicious breakfast. Give them a try. Extensive desiring menu options. Yum.

Came in for breakfast and met my daughter and grandson who is 18 months old. The server was awesome and immediately ask if we wanted a booster seat or high car. The menu is very extensive but I knew I wanted an omelette. I search over the many offering but the closes one that had all the goodies I wanted stuffed inside was their chicken supreme. I told the server that it had what I was looking for but I didn't want chicken. She stated I could substitute any meat. I chose bacon. The omelette came out piping hot and cooked perfectly, it was Stuffed, the servings are huge enough for two. I could only finish half and took home the remainder of my meal for dinner. They offer two sides so I had hash browns and fresh fruit which also was a huge bowl. That worked out great because I was able to share that with my grandson. Definitely will be coming back.

We visited on a Sunday morning after church. It was pretty packed! There were lots of people there already. I wondered how long it would take for us to be seated. But, we were seated fairly quickly. The seating was comfortable and the staff was really nice. I had ordered their big bacon country breakfast. My sister ordered the same except for she asked for him instead of bacon. Everything was delicious! I was really impressed. I will definitely be back. The only negative thing I had to say is.. I wish my hot cocoa came in a mug versus a plastic clear cup.

The pony pancake, the Maria's scramble with chorizo, hash browns, mole, cheese, onions.

Extensive menu, large servings, several options on breakfast. Service friendly, not too pushy, check in and coffee refills great.

If you want to know what a restaurant looked like in the 80's this is the spot. Time hasn't passed by at this classic restaurant beloved by our community. The food prices are average $25 per person, they serve breakfast and lunch, big portions tho, all the breakfast you can order them as burritos, omelettes or quesadillas. Is a fusion of traditional American cuisine and Mexican mole :) Customer service is good There's parking right outside and electric car chargers.

Do you ever have a meal that gives you a little bit of hope that the world is an okay place? Well, my breakfast here did just that. I'm not ever in this area, but needed to fill my time so decided to have breakfast and do some work. Most days breakfast for me is coffee and toast, coffee and a breakfast bar, coffee... you get the picture. I ordered Maria's Chorizo omelette, with a side of hash browns. The omelette actually has hash browns in it, but I'm a potato aficionado, so bring on the potatoes! It was a life-changing omelette. I mean, so good that I kept eating until I could feel stretch marks forming on my sides. The mole on top reminded me of the enchilada sauce my grandma used to make, so rich and flavorful. The portion size is huge, this could easily feed two people or I guess one extremely hungry person. I overdid it a bit, but I could not stop taking another bite. The staff here are super sweet, this is a diner that feels a bit frozen in time, but not in a bad way. You come here for a good meal, friendly service, where everybody knows your name kind of vibe. If you're driving through Antioch and looking for a breakfast spot, stop here! Order Maria's omelette or one of the other ones, there's a generous number of items on the breakfast menu.

I live near here and appreciate the kind and hard working people here and breakfast is really good but have never been a fan of dinners or lunches here. Just not liking the lack of quality tastes of the food. I will stick to the awesome breakfasts but not a fan of anything else.

So, it's a pleasure to recommend a good fish restaurant with a good view of the water. Our visits to Smith's Landing have always been a pleasure. The food is a tad pricey but always excellent, with a decently sized and varied menu. The building itself is large, comfortable, clean, and appealing. The atmosphere is generally quiet (for a restaurant of its size) and relaxing. And the view from any of the inside window tables or the outside tables is downright spectacular. You can see clearly the harbor and the river, offering an appropriate setting for the excellence of the food. In all, I'd give the place an A-, subtracting only for the slightly above-average price of the food, which is made up for in both quality and quantity. You won't go away dissatisfied or hungry. Currently, it's the best restaurant on the river.

This Hawaiian French restaurant is something out of LA, San Francisco, or even Honolulu/Waikiki. Such a great brunch spot! The interior decor is like a ruined old-French still quarter building with the visuals of balconies just like Paris. There are even classic vintage French poster prints on the wall with an island touch of plants hanging and the music of Polynesian reggae in the background. The menu is great with lots of items to choose from as well as a wine list. We started with a mimosa carafe with 5 different juice flavors to choose from like mango, strawberry, passionfruit, orange, etc. I ordered their Loco Moco which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I did love the way they cooked my burger patty (medium), so it had some nice char texture. My friend ordered the garlic shrimp with coconut fried rice. This tasted delicious and very authentic.
