If you want a breakfast plate this is the place to go! I almost went to McDonald's but after fining this place on Yelp I took the extra minute drive. It was well worth it! As I walked in, it look renovated and up to date with the decor. I got seated promptly by Tammy. Tammy was managing my table and a few others. The vibes of the place was my type, a mom and pops diner. Tammy suggested a pork ribeye but I proceeded with the half plate of steak ham! Oh brother was that a plate, I also ordered a pancake which was amazing. This place overall is a nice local diner, come in and support a small business. This is the biggest surprise for me. It's a little, modest little one story bar and restaurant that is a great place for Sunday night dinner too in addition to breakfast and lunch. It didn't look like the food would be really good but this is taking me back to the old style original local neighborhood good eats, great service, and nice clean bathrooms!! We ate here because my partner's band had a gig on a Sunday night to play from 5-8. I was impressed when I saw that the band was eating pork chops (full dinner with garlic toast, veggies, baked potatoes with the works (we are talking bacon, cheese, sour cream, and good old butter). Veggies weren't over cooked either! I ordered liver and onions because I was very much caught up in eating food from my misspent youth. It was very good. Not overcooked and that is amazing. And the gravy was really good too. I had the baked potatoes with the works and promptly forgot my resolutions eat less carbs. (In my defense, I was left unsupervised.) They recently renovated and it looks great. They were short staffed but we still had great service ! The breakfast is one of the best meals around and the price is very reasonable. We eat here at least once a month but I can see a lot of locals eating here more often. They also have events, live music and I imagine you could rent out the venue as well. Bathrooms are clean and if you want to split one of their huge breakfasts you can for a small fee. Perfect for our breakfast. read more

I took mom here for breakfast. You can see they've done some remodeling and added a bar area. Service is great from two elderly ladies. I ordered the hungry man Chicken Fried Steak with was 8oz with three eggs and hash browns. Mine was cooked perfectly. This place is great I have not been there to try the actual food but I go at night when it kind of turns into a club. The appetizers are great though, the ceviche is really good. The service is amazing the waitresses are very attentive and always make sure we're good. The ambience is amazing I like the karaoke and the music that is played there. Not everyone's cup of tea of course but I sure do enjoy and will go again. This location is SUPER lowkey and I see why they are. The menu here is HUGE, but so simple. Very affordable and the staff is super family orientated which we love. It is very small inside, but they also have an outside seating and to be honest either or is super accommodating. We were a party of 5 and everything we ate did not disappoint. I had the biscuit and gravy with bacon, eggs and a waffle on the side. I personally had to season my gravy, but I like that a lot only because I like how to season my own sausage and gravy. After I seasoned it, I demolished every bite of it. I also tried my husbands chicken fried steak and of course you can't mess that up. They also have two options of hash brown and both versions (country and shredded potatoes) are cooked perfectly unless you asked them super well done. The waffle its self was super fluffy and perfectly sweet with syrup drenched in it. We definitely make this our weekend spot as a treat only because they are closed by 7pm. Haven't gone here during dinner, but hopefully we can make it. Other than that, we've been here 3x's already and we stick to the breakfast only because we want to try everything - LOL! I've been here several times and have never given my review. This restaurant has been here since I can remember. It's on the side of a cemetery so you have to get past that. The parking lot is on the side by there's plenty of parking. There's outdoor seating and indoor seating. You wait for someone to seat you . There's a ton of booths . We went on Father's Day they were pretty busy. I like that they had the specials board as soon as you walk in. The menu is simple but it has a lot of good options. I ordered French toast and my husband ordered eggs, bacon,pancakes, and sausage. The portions are very generous. Everything tasted amazing and was very filling. Arrived yesterday via Uber to grab a bite while I waited for my car service to be finished. Some rude lady yells were closed very rudely without any explanation. Then she proceeds to scream across the parking lot at two guys getting out of a truck that had pulled in before getting in her car and driving off. Attitude was not required and enough to make me say I will never be back. Long time customer (since I was a kid, now I am almost 40) with Murray. Was going to give the new owners a try but after yesterday experience I won't be back. I don't expect them to stay in business for long. read more

Chicken fried steak is mostly batter, Paper thin steak, no sausage in the gravy and flavorless, hash brown is burnt, decaf coffee was in a tea bag vs fresh brewed tasted so nasty. What a great find! We've been there about 4 times now and have never been disappointed. They've really gone out of their way to hold the line on pricing while maintaining terrific service and food quality. Like other small local owned and run diners, expect a certain amount of delightful uniqueness. I took my mom there last week. She's 97 years old with dementia so this was an exercise in normalcy. We did this during the week when it wasn't so busy. That gave our server enough time to be accommodating and boy did she perform. She noticed that my mom was a bit overwhelmed with the tortilla soup (something she would have loved in years past), and the server volunteered an change to oatmeal which worked nicely for mom. read more
