My breakfast was good and the coffee was okay. Generous serving size. Prices are reasonable. And I had attentive service by Tammy.

This location is SUPER lowkey and I see why they are. The menu here is HUGE, but so simple. Very affordable and the staff is super family orientated which we love. It is very small inside, but they also have an outside seating and to be honest either or is super accommodating. We were a party of 5 and everything we ate did not disappoint. I had the biscuit and gravy with bacon, eggs and a waffle on the side. I personally had to season my gravy, but I like that a lot only because I like how to season my own sausage and gravy. After I seasoned it, I demolished every bite of it. I also tried my husbands chicken fried steak and of course you can't mess that up. They also have two options of hash brown and both versions (country and shredded potatoes) are cooked perfectly unless you asked them super well done. The waffle its self was super fluffy and perfectly sweet with syrup drenched in it. We definitely make this our weekend spot as a treat only because they are closed by 7pm. Haven't gone here during dinner, but hopefully we can make it. Other than that, we've been here 3x's already and we stick to the breakfast only because we want to try everything - LOL! Next on our list is their Texas frenchtoast. I will say with this place growing with customers, be PATIENT with the staff because they're sweet and spot on with orders.

this is a very low key cafe. located on a main road of 18th street, you are met with a spacious parking lot. the entrance is small, but you'll find the way inside after taking seat, we loved the ambiance, which was chill and tranquil. although serving a varied menu of american food all around, most customers are elderly, and are regulars as well. as it was morning time, my mother and i went breakfast mode. my choice was waffle combo. my mother went pancake combo. both had their pros and cons both main dishes were mostly made w whole grain, which is healthier, but not as flavorful as you'd want. our sides of bacon were great, but the ham tasted salty. all around, solid dishes, delivered w a small wait customer service was excellent: our waitress was coming through every so often, and gave us coffee refills. also chatted w us :) although not a perfect meal, we left satisfied and happy

The bar room was offered and based on our experience of a live band or good music we chose of our area. Unfortunately, the service ( if there was any) was non existent . We sat there for more than 10 minutes. No one asked us a question. Came to check on us or anything. They watched us. Do you have a food return to the dining room with menus and hand and no one attempted to see what was going on There were only two other couples sitting in the room. It was almost empty. We wound up moving back to the dining area because we plan to have tea and coffee. Once we or seated in the main dining area, the service was stellar. They checked on its regularly. We got water immediately. They took our order within 3 to 5 minutes that continue to check on us throughout the meal refilled our beverages. It is regularly crowded there the beautiful world that room is covered by direct sunlight from the windows that show you the waterfront there's plenty of seating, the music is loud enough to enjoy but low enough to have conversation and enjoy your meal simply perfect I got my favorite the crab sand, which is at market price and delicious. My husband had a jumbo shrimp scrambled that comes with bacon and avocado, and it was delicious. I adore this restaurant and I really enjoy the fact that they've started covering the outdoor patio area so you don't have direct Son. It's a perfect place to enjoy a good Saturday or Sunday brunch with friends and family. It's always have fun. How am full of live with people enjoying their meal Except to spam $50-$75 a person depending on what you choose to eat from the menu and what type of beverage you have and that only includes one beverage Your average brunch scramble or omelette runs about 30 bucks. Anything seafood will be 40 bucks plus coffee and $3.75 and refillable which I love and I can't really show you the cost of a cocktail. It's been a minute.

As for the food, it was overall just okay. For the price point, we expected a lot more flavor and quality. Most dishes were pretty bland and didn't really live up to the hype social media gives it. The highlights for us were the crab sandwich and clam chowder -- my dad especially enjoyed those and said they were really good. The patty melt was also solid, with nicely smoked beef, and the albacore tuna sandwich tasted fresh and decent. Bruschetta was ok also. We felt like it had too much sauce. The Chicken Marsala unfortunately tasted very plain, almost like hospital food, with little flavor. The seafood ravioli looked much prettier online than it did in person, and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't memorable either. The pesto fries mostly tasted like garlic fries since we couldn't really taste the pesto, and the garlic fries themselves were just okay -- honestly, Super Duper's garlic fries are way better in our opinion. Overall, nothing was terrible, but nothing really stood out enough to justify spending around $300. It just didn't match the expectations social media created for us.

There used to be a slew of good fish restaurants along the south side of the Sacramento River, but…read moremost of them have closed (The Point, Rio Vista), burned down (The Nantucket, Crockett; Moore's Riverboat, Isleton), or transformed into something worse than before (Monica's Riverview, Antioch; The Dead Fish, Crockett). So, it's a pleasure to recommend a good fish restaurant with a good view of the water. Our visits to Smith's Landing have always been a pleasure. The food is a tad pricey but always excellent, with a decently sized and varied menu. The building itself is large, comfortable, clean, and appealing. The atmosphere is generally quiet (for a restaurant of its size) and relaxing. And the view from any of the inside window tables or the outside tables is downright spectacular. You can see clearly the harbor and the river, offering an appropriate setting for the excellence of the food. In all, I'd give the place an A-, subtracting only for the slightly above-average price of the food, which is made up for in both quality and quantity. You won't go away dissatisfied or hungry. Currently, it's the best restaurant on the river.

The Problem with this establishment begins with the middle aged male manager. My friend chose this…read moreplace to celebrate my belated birthday. I was not impressed. The food was definitely on an Applebees level and not what you'd expect from a steakhouse. Back to the manager. He greeted my friend because he knows her family, asked her if she needed a beer refill, more water. He literally spoke to her for 10 minutes and asked her twice about a beer refill until she said yes. He wouldn't look at me, he didn't acknowledge me when I tried to be a part of their conversation, and he never once asked if I wanted a refill on my cocktail or water glass. I was invisible. Then the waitress was very sweet but she literally directed her questions about refills and recommendations to my friend and not me. I literally had to ask for a refill and an appetizer. It was the most strange experience I've ever had. I was quietly erased. I rarely think that I am being discriminated against and hate to use the "R' word, but I was dressed professionally, well spoken, polite with good table manner skills, and normally people treat me with respect. This was definitely an outlier for me. My friend, the server and Manager share the same skin tone and ethnicity while I do not. The way that I was treated bothered me immensely and after a day of processing everything, I called another friend who happens to be the same skin tone as my other friend to ask him if I was "tripping". He immediately said that I had been discriminated against and that I should speak to my friend to see if she noticed and to watch her response. So I did just that. She apologized for how she subconsciously noticed it but didn't feel uncomfortable enough to step in and help me. She said that clearly realized that she should have intervened instead of allowing herself to receive better treatment than me and unconsciously condoning the behavior. I could tell that she meant it and was deeply apologetic. Smiths Landing is teetering on self-destruction by hiring a manger and staff who are making some of their good customers feel less valued than others. They are a discrimination lawsuit waiting to happen. It also showed how employees can destroy an owner's business if the owner isn't on top of things. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is subpar and so is the service.

The morning atmosphere has that classic neighborhood warmth to it--no rush, no fuss--just comfort food done the way it's meant to be. From the moment we sat down, everything felt familiar in the best way, like our past and present got to meet right at the breakfast table. Our food was just... exactly right. The flavors were satisfying and full, the portions were the kind that make you feel taken care of, and the whole meal tasted like it was made with care instead of shortcuts. It's the type of breakfast that doesn't try too hard, but still delivers. Even after all this time away, **it was still excellent**, which is honestly the biggest compliment I can give. What made the visit extra special was the nostalgia. We weren't just eating breakfast--we were remembering why we loved coming here in the first place. It brought back that feeling of earlier mornings, earlier routines, and time spent together without even realizing how much we'd missed it. Coming back after so long made the experience feel bigger than a meal. **Bottom line:** If you're looking for a breakfast spot that's reliably delicious and also has that comforting, "we've been here before" feeling, **Sylvia's in Antioch** is absolutely worth a return visit--even if it's been years like it was for us.

This Hawaiian French restaurant is something out of LA, San Francisco, or even Honolulu/Waikiki. Such a great brunch spot! The interior decor is like a ruined old-French still quarter building with the visuals of balconies just like Paris. There are even classic vintage French poster prints on the wall with an island touch of plants hanging and the music of Polynesian reggae in the background. The menu is great with lots of items to choose from as well as a wine list. We started with a mimosa carafe with 5 different juice flavors to choose from like mango, strawberry, passionfruit, orange, etc. I ordered their Loco Moco which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I did love the way they cooked my burger patty (medium), so it had some nice char texture. My friend ordered the garlic shrimp with coconut fried rice. This tasted delicious and very authentic. It was better than some dishes I actually had in Hawaii. The French toast was regular and tasted nothing different than other's I've tried. It was toasted more than the usual to give it some crispy texture in which I loved. Overall, this bistro is phenomenal, and I will definitely take my family here for brunch next time. Their service is quick and very attentive which is important. Even though the place got packed up, the two employees frequently checked on people. I want to try more, and I'll be back soon.
