Came in after church with my parents. We've been here before, so just doing a quick update. Surprised I've never reviewed before w/ 3 check-ins. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is nice and clean. The cushion on the chairs is a nice touch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great. While it was just us and another table, food was fast and my water was always filled. WITH ICE TOO. Superb. Food is delicious, and very on par with good Thai food. Standard base dishes that can be mixed with different proteins. Pad Kee Mow and the Eggplant were delicious and fresh. The Papaya Salad, while tasty, I'm a little disappointed in because they use the hand shredder. I think it's ok for high volume output, but my respect factor goes WAY up when they hand cut the salad. Overall a good Thai spot should the craving arise, but not my first choice for Thai food in Contra Costa County.

Lunch at Home Thai in Martinez - [[HIGHLIGHT]]cute atmosphere and a speedy lunch for $15!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Red veggie tofu curry with rice salad and a crispy roll. Everything was delish and hit the spot on this cold day!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Food and vibe is awesome![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is sorta small but decorated very nice and it's super clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is my go to spot around the area due to location and price.

There aren't very many Thai places around me, so I ventured out to Martinez to check this spot out. I am in love with their table condiments. A Spicy dry seasoning imported from Thailand, a house made chili oil, and a siracha style sauce. All of them were so delicious. For my meal I ordered fried chicken over rice and shrimp pad Thai. The fried chicken over rice was so good! Great flavor on the rice and the chicken had great crunch to it. Pad Thai was also good and even better with the dry spicy seasoning. Service was great and very friendly. I can't wait to come back.

Super rude service. No wonder the restaurant is completely empty at 7pm.

Updated the review to a 1 star. The worst and rudest service I have ever experienced. I very rarely give 1 star. I've done over 300 reviews and only given out 13 reviews with 1 star. I'm an easy person to please, I'm not some demanding Karen...but this place definitely deserves a big fat thumbs down. We are regulars here, and when we have out of town visitors, this is one of the places we take them to. Today family was visiting for Thanksgiving, so we took them here, 11/26/2025 at 6:30pm. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only 1 table was dining in, but had a handful of to-go orders. Dirty dishes were piled on every table[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. No acknowledgement, even after waiting 15 mins. I wanted to leave, but the rest decided to stay. We cleared and wiped down our own table, sat ourselves. 7:00pm- Server finally comes to take our order. He is extremely rude. Sighs, rolling his eyes, angry tone, major attitude. The final straw was when we requested if he could read the order back to us, and he said "NO!" and stomped away. It felt like we were on some prank show, but sadly it wasn't. We decided to leave. We told him that he was rude, but he didn't care. The place was empty when we left, we were the only customers, so they definitely weren't busy. I guess he wanted to go home early. Suffice to say, I can cross off this place from my list. We ended up going right down the street to Saneh Bangkok, where we had an amazing meal, with great service. Seems like we weren't alone in our poor experience. There is a 2 star review posted today from someone else with a similar experience- this is a different party, I don't know them. I guess its comforting to know they give angry service to everyone, not just us!

My wife and I were craving good Thai and remember reading about this place in a local FB group. We stopped by and Som, one of the owners greeted us and checked to see if we had any questions. We ordered the Spice Thai Basil (ordered it mild, but should have gone for medium) along with the Drunken Noodles. They give you a good amount of food and both dished were delicious as was my wife's Thai Iced Tea. Great service, food and prices.

Take out review. Everyone on our bocce team brings something on game night. Last night one of my teammates picked up pad Thai from Home Thai cafe. While I didn't pay for it, I sure did eat it! It was packaged really well and delicious! When a craving hits, they are now at the top of my list.

It was my first time there, the food was okay, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the service food and the ambiance very nice[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small restaurant in a little mall, clean and well organized[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I don't think I'll be going back since it was not anything out of the ordinary.

This is by far the best Thai we've had in East bay. We were very happy to learn that all their curries can be made vegan or vegetarian since they do not have shrimp paste in their curry paste. In addition to the drunken noodles and appetizers, we got the kao soy with tofu (vegan) and it was absolutely fantastic!

The restaurant is beautifully decorated with bright windows and an open style floor plan. They have a dedicated parking lot and a lot of street parking. Our server was very kind and patient with our indecisiveness. I felt for her during the rush hour and admire her hard work. The food was flavorful to my standards. Some Thai restaurants tend to taste too light but I was able to taste the various flavors at this restaurant. I specifically loved how the fish was still crispy while being juicy and covered in sauce. The warmth of the fried banana paired perfectly with the ice cream. I'm impressed with how intense and ripe the mango flavors were. Their sustainable to go packaging was the cherry on top. The quality, light yet bountiful flavors, and freshness of the food definitely adds this to my Martinez go tos.

It's a smallish place, seats less than 40 I think, unless there a hidden room I didn't see. The decor feels like you stepped back to the late 80s. The food was excellent, I was not expecting it. We ordered soup and a couple of different dim sum from their menu. I was kinda expecting some microwaved stuff. To my surprised, it was freshly steamed. Food was great and I learned the owner was a chef in a dim sum restaurant in the south bay before and makes it all himself. I can't rate any of the other things on the menu, haven't tried it. We landed on Pho May and we were so pleased to find a solid pho place so close to our house! The restaurant itself is exactly what you'd imagine for a Vietnamese restaurant - super inviting, Vietnamese decor, friendly employees, and heavenly smell of food coming from the kitchen. We got pho ga (chicken pho) and pho tai (rare beef pho) to go, along with a Thai iced tea. All of them were stellar. The broth for both soups were very flavorful, not too salty, and most importantly piping hot! The portions of meat, noodles, and toppings were very generous and super fresh. I ordered a 15 and a Thai tea. The broth was awesome. I was hoping for some Basil but got cilantro instead. The shrimp was good but the rest of the seafood lacked flavor. It didn't matter how much hoisen sauce and sriracha I put I couldn't get the right flavor flavor. The tea was kind of bland. Not sure if it was mostly milk and not enough tea or if the tea was just not as strong as in other places. Also this isn't so much their fault and I know fixing systems are hard but it being cash only makes it difficult. Luckily there was a bank down the St and I was able to get some cash. All in all it was "good" I might give it one more try or maybe two more tries because I want to taste their sandwich and the beef pho. Hopefully my next experience is better.

Was not sure it was fully fresh. The pork belly was rubbery & very thinly sliced and more veggie than meat. The wings came with the Korean sauce on them already, than on the side. The Korean sauce was soy sauce forward instead of a balanced flavor. Not a fan. The pickled papaya was not spicy & was pickled in a sweet pickling marinade. We walked in to find the restaurant nearly empty--just my friend and I in a space that could seat around 40. That's usually not a red flag for me but it made the underwhelming meal stand out even more. We ordered the #7 Hamachi Kama (grilled yellowtail collar), which came with rice and salad. The fish didn't taste fresh and had an odd texture--not what I've come to expect from this dish. The rice had a strange aftertaste, and the salad dressing was more like watered-down mayonnaise than anything appetizing. Next came the shrimp and veggie tempura platter. I get that tempura is a simple dish--hot oil, light batter, a good fry--but even that missed the mark. The batter lacked flavor and the portion was surprisingly sparse for the price point. I really wanted to like this place. The staff were polite and attentive, which I appreciate.
