Curry Noodles, a specialty of Northern Thailand

Koon Thai Kitchen is a neighborhood favorite that we have enjoyed for many years. We prefer to dine in ... and usually have enough for leftovers. They seem to do a brisk takeout business. During Covid they were a lifesaver for us. We didn't use Doorsdash as they delivered directly. Good people; good food!

Amazing food ! We tried spring roll shrimp and wontons ! We loved it Service and ambiance is excellent

Curry and soup were good. The rest was terrible but we were starving

Came here wanting to support because times are tough for small businesses. They were completely empty during what should be dinner rush. The food wasn't authentic and a few of the dishes were too salty and tasted awful which was a disappointment. The service was terrible. When I started to mirror her behavior she took her phone out and started recording our family eat. Which is what led me to write a review. You've got to be so out of touch with reality, to treat a family that just ordered 150 worth of food so poorly. Especially when we came with respect and support. She gossiped about us in the back so loud just to make sure we could hear her. Why in the world would you treat a family with kids this way? Hackling the entire time we were eating. Her issue with us started when she brought the sticky rice out and I was shocked at how very little they gave for 3.50 each. It was half the size of my husbands palm. So for our family of 4 to have just a few bites of rice, we had to spend well over $15.00 with tax. That's ISNANE!! This is not a Michelin star restaurant , and they can't be overcharging customers. This was the first time ever we've been scammed that hard. No wonder why they dont advertise photos of their sticky rice. No one would dare buy it. Once the owner (who I'm assuming was the cook in the back who was also partaking in the gossip) realized I've had enough and started to take photos of their very empty restaurant, his smile left his face and he snapped back into reality. They then offered to eat the cost of the sticky rice. Word of advice: DO NOT ORDER THEIR STICKY RICE. Just order their bowl of steam rice. Would definitely not come here again. That was a lot to deal with.

The service was outstanding! Our host was kind and attentive. He gave us recommendations and was very friendly. The food was delicious! We ordered the basil noodles which tasted homemade and unlike other Thai restaurants. We also ordered the duck ginger with a side of white rice. Delicious! Ambiance was calming and clean. It was our first time and if we come back i. Town, we will comeback.

Best Thai in the area. Friends had recommended this restaurant and I am so glad we finally tried it out. Will be returning very soon!! Amazing food and service!!

We came on a weekday when it wasn't so busy and got our food very quickly. My favorite was the Cashew Nut with tofu. It almost tastes like a vegetarian version of General Tsao's chicken from a Chinese restaurant. But none the less it was very tasty. The crispy cheese wontons were freshly crisp and cream cheesey in the inside. Lots of seating! Kind and attentive servers, too. Would definitely come again and try the rest of their menu!

I met my friends Sarah and David for dinner here on 11/04/2025. We walked in at 5:30pm and were immediately greeted by the lone female server, who seated us at a table towards to back of the restaurant. The interior was very clean, and lighting was soft and warm. The giant restaurant logos on the walls were prominently displayed. Their menu featured a wide array of appetizers, soups, bibimbaps, cold and hot noodles, meat dishes, etc. We opted against their signature kalbijjim and instead got three entrée combos (L.A. galbi, spicy pork, and bulgogi). Each entrée came with our choice of tofu soup. Half a dozen banchans were brought to us before the arrival of the entrées. The buchu (chives) and baechu (Napa cabbage) kimchi were excellent. Our food took about 15 minutes to arrive. Portion wise, the tofu soups were of decent size, but the meat entrées were kind of stingy (they were served in small round skillets). I had the seafood tofu soup and it was very good. It was loaded clams, shrimp, and squid. We shared the entrées, and they all tasted great. The only gripe I had was a couple pieces of the galbi had very little meat on them. Service we received was great. Our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The total was somewhere around $130 (with a bottle of soju, a tangerine slushy, and a soda). Overall, we all thought the food was good. Return trip very likely. 4 stars. BONUS MATERIAL: - Ample parking on site. - Yelp waitlist deployed at this restaurant.

Was looking for a good hot pot place, and was in the Concord area…read more So I'll start with what I didn't love, but I did think it was a great gimmick for the area. The music was way too loud, almost like a night club - where you have to practically raise your voice to talk. It's great for guys, where their voice projects, but it's more difficult for anyone that has a bit higher. There are no tongs (but they will give you extra chopsticks). Also, the individual induction units are right on the table, instead of inset. This causes the potential of hot soup base spilling as a more likely experience for clumsy people. For the thing I love about this place? First... value for money. $29.99 per person for all-you-can-eat hotpot? This is amazing in this age where an entree is like $25-30. Appetizers are ordered 2 at a time, and meats are 6 at a time. Meats only come one on a thin tray, which holds about 4-6 slices. So you'll be ordering other helpings, since there are I believe 5 beef selections, and a pork and chicken selection (7) total. The middle of the restaurant is a large bar where you get everything that isn't a meat. The selection of vegetables, and noodles are pretty vast, and almost always refilled. The seafood area has shrimp, clams, tilapia, and mussels. Sauces area also on the sides which makes it pretty much an on-going motion. It's not the high-end of hot pot by any means, but the ambience that they're projecting works for the area that it's in and how they compete with the rest of the restaurants in the area. But for the money? I'd go here. We did sit in a side-middle area where it wasn't a booth. However, they made sure to separate out the seating so that if you were a group of 3, they situated in opposite ends to create space. That attentiveness of spacing actually created a better atmosphere which was a small thing, but a smart thing. Love that they actually celebrate birthdays with banging of pots, and wishing well. It's something that is fun for groups and definitely nice if you happen to be celebrating a birthday! Definitely will come back.

When we arrived, only bar seating was available, but we took it anyway because we were hungry and wanted to eat. They offer an extensive selection of food, and the quality is solid overall.
