The batter they use really adds to the flavor. One of the secrets to their amazing food is the incredible sauces they offer for dipping! Orangie is my favorite but Kluck-in and Korean BBQ are not too far behind! I wish they would sell them in bottles because they would taste good on so many different things. This place is so unassuming but sooo delicious!! The chicken was tender and the breading was crispy and surprisingly light. The portions are HUGE. I wish they'd break down the meals into options like a 3 count or 5 count tender meal but I wasn't mad to take home leftovers! They had several unique sauces that were fun to try as well. If I could give any feedback, it would be that the line was long and slow. Whenever an order was called the person next in line had to wait for them to choose their sauces before taking another order. I know things are tough with COVID but it was a bummer to wait so long in line and then be asked to wait another five min to be helped. We're always up for trying new-to-us chicken places and heard good things about Klucks. I opted for one of the sandwiches to compare to others... it's their tenders, which makes it tricky to hold and bite with their girth. The paper wrapping wasn't closed around it and it came upside down. The coleslaw was oozing out AND on the outside of the bun, so don't plan on eating neatly. We all agreed their variety of sauces and the breading is what sets their chicken apart... it's light and "krispy" with a nice crunch. The chicken itself is okay. They have about 9 sauces from sweet to spicy for dipping the tenders. I'd get tenders next time and avoid the messiness. Skip the fries (crinkle cut or Arby's curly style) and grab a Krispy treat instead. They're made local and offer a few flavors from regular to chocolate and another in between those. As for ambiance, this place doesn't have any. Maybe because it's new (I'm not sure how long it's been open), but it feels like they're not planning on sticking around with the paper menu taped to the wall and stiff chairs/benches. The teen cashier had to juggle taking orders, answering the phone, and handing out orders on a busy Friday night by herself. If you're in the area looking for a good sit down dinner and this place is full, go across the street to Golden Thai. Their pad Thai, Tom Kah Gai, and Panang are all top notch! read more

I ordered a Jr Chicken sandwich, and it was perfect in size for me! It comes with probably the best slaw that I've had. I added some of their chipotle mayo sauce which was to die for. My husband ordered the special of the day which was Kay's special and he LOVED IT. One of the biggest pluses for him was that the bacon was a good thick, crunchy slab of bacon. You know how sometimes the bacon on burgers/sandwiches is chewy or barely there? Not here. You could definitely taste the bacon. They have a wide variety of sauces for everyone's palate. Whether you like sweet and sour, spicy, or just ketchup. I also love that they give you the option of curly or regular fries. We need more places that sell curly fries. This was so close to a five because your garlic chicken is amazing. Hands down hit the spot and was so surprisingly filling yet refreshing (I know strange for fried chicken). But I would say that is about the extent of blow my mind that I had. I think the first time we went we only ordered regular chicken and tried all the different sauces which were... meh to a-ok. Then on our second go around when we got the garlic chicken it was taken to a whole new level. Right combo of garlic and sweetness and the crispness was on point. THE VERDICT: Go for the garlic chicken and I cannot vouch for the sauces or the regular chicken or the chicken sandwich, they seem to be hit or miss on those ones and the sauces were weird. I had a big lunch earlier. So I didn't know what to expect. The food was phenomenal and the service was great. I went back to them a second time and I decided that they were so good the first time that I got there bigger sandwich and the pasta salad. The pasta salad one of the best pasta salads I ever have. Ok, so I was not sure what to expect from this place. I am used to the usually Chick-fillet and Popeyes chicken sandwiches but this place peaked my interest. Once I told the nice kid at the counter I was new and had never been to a "Klucks" before he lite up and walked me through my options on sauces for my sandwich and for dipping for my curly fries. He did a great job. I ordered the "original chicken sandwich" as I am not a big fan of spicy food. It was VERY crispy and had like a coleslaw and sauce on it. It was delicious & messy (might not be best to eat in the car while driving FYI) but since I ordered mine for in house dinning it was plenty safe and I tore through my sandwich and their napkins dispenser with reckless abandon. The curly fried (front counter kids recommendation) were SUPER crispy and curly just the way I like them and I am glad I ordered a dipping sauce for them as a well (again, Counter Kid's idea) While it was certainly not the healthiest meal of the day, it was a wonderful guilty pleasure and a welcome relief after airplane pretzels and biscoff cookies. Congrats to the team for making it into a retail space after so many years at the farmers market. The space is right near the mall and the movie theatre. It's set up like a fast casual joint with a midlevel wall down the left, but so far no me u board has been posted. Instead, there was a small paper menu at the register as well as a board with specials. Maybe they're working on this? For now, the menu is simple. There are a few chicken combos (with fries) and a sandwich, as well as loaded mac n' cheese. I got a special--drumstick and thigh--with fries and a drink for like $8. Prices though are more like $10-11 for combos not on special. I also tried the loaded mac n' cheese with the Fire Steak option, a kind of sweet bulgogi beef maybe? We added some Smooth Hottie sauce to it for extra kick and the spice cut the fat and sweet. Highly recommend that trick. You could also top with chicken and ranch with Doritos, or an Elote option with fiery Cheetos. The steak was supposed to have Funyuns but I don't recall seeing them. The chicken is the star. That skin is crunchy x1000. Like, shatteringly crispy. The flavor needed a bit more seasoning, or I'd live to see a Korean fried chicken option (like Curry Fried Chicken in SLC) because they have the crust on lock. read more

I don't know how they do it, but each chicken piece did not disappoint. They also have 6-7 sauces to choose from. The sauces range from sweet to super spicy.
