They do have lunch specials which I ended up getting the chicken piccata with angel hair pasta. I loved the lemony piccata with capers. It was really good. It was my fiancé and I's first time at this chain restaurant. And overall, it did not live up to the hype. Maybe it's the dishes we chose or could be because of how new this establishment is. For appetizers we ordered chicken potstickers and the egg roll sampler. The pot stickers were room temperature and had a unique flavor that we couldn't decide if we liked. The egg roll sampler was good and we do recommend. My entree...I honestly should have asked our waitress to take it back. The steak was tough and the tortillas rubbery. Both the black beans and rice had NO flavor. (Yes I know it's rice but, I was expecting cilantro lime. Menu nor waitress specified.) It was my granddaughters birthday. We were excited to celebrate with her, she picked cheesecake factory in Orem to have dinner on Sunday with the family. We called ahead and the hostess said the best time to come is 4 o'clock. They could most likely seat all 10 of us quickly. So we decided we would all meet at 4 o'clock. As I got there at 3:40, I checked in with the hostess she seemed irritated. There were 10 of us. She said it would be a while before they could even seat us. She suggested maybe we eat outside on the patio, today was in the high 90s and I did not want to sit on the patio. I told her we would wait for a table. (They didn't look busy and had a lot of empty tables) She seemed irritated, I did not want to be on the patio, so she told me she could have us seated by 4:30 and to let her know when the whole party arrived. I went in at 4:05 and tell them our whole party was here, the other lady which I thought maybe was a manager was quite rude and said we were quoted 30 min. that we wouldn't be seated until 430 and we would just have to wait. I let her know that I was there at 3:40 and it was quoted we would be sat no later than 430 and to let her know when our whole party was there. We did not get seated until about 4:40! I would've left, but my granddaughter wanted to eat there for her birthday so we stayed! Our server was fantastic, very tentative and made our granddaughter feel special on her birthday! Our check came to almost $250.00 the food was amazing and again the waiter was fabulous. Our visit started out awful but the waiter turned it around! I am an avid Cheesecake Factory goer.... Every time I go to the one in Orem, it's a terrible experience. Almost all waiters I've had have given bad service. Every single time we wait at least 20 minutes before someone even comes by to tell us to wait a little longer. And then they leave again. I only got one refill the entire hour and a half I was there which was bad too. I even had a situation where managers were talked to because the waiter was so bad. During this visit, the waitress forgot to put in our order for an appetizer but never even came back until we were done eating our main course so she didn't really check on us to realize that we didn't get our appetizer. Like all of the other bad reviews for this location, service is terrible and slow. The food is good, but that's all cheesecake factories. For the amount of money you pay to eat here it is not worth it. read more

Hostess was not very good at communicating with us and wouldn't look at us when talking so it was a bit confusing especially when it's so loud. I've noticed in recent years that the menu at The Cheesecake Factory (all locations) has diminished and is definitely not like it used to be. My experience this past weekend hardened my resolve to not go back. At the new(er) Orem, UT location, we arrived about 5 PM on Saturday evening. We took one of the high tables in the bar area to avoid a (really, a pretty reasonable) 20 minute wait for a booth. The waiter was really great, but the entire operation was understaffed for a Saturday evening. It took abnormally long to get drinks, bread, etc. Appetizer was brought out AFTER entrees. But that's not the worst. We ordered the chicken green chile enchiladas - which I have ordered MANY times before. In the old days, it came with rice and beans, AND a delicious scoop of sweet cornbread, which, in many ways, was the highlight. It's been some years since the cornbread has been removed, to my dismay. My wife and I shared the plate. She had one enchilada and I had the other two. The presentation and flavor were just sub-par in every way this time. The chicken was dry, no sauce on the enchiladas, very bland, and so tough I had to cut them with a knife. The rice was dry and bland as well. It gets worse. About 9 hours later (2 AM-ish) my wife and I were both up with upset stomachs. About a half an hour later I started vomiting uncontrollably. The other guests that we took there had other dishes and did not get sick. The ONLY thing that my wife and I BOTH ate that day, in common, was that plate. Won't be going back. We came in as a party of 10 and were prepared to have a great night. Instead, we were met with a level of incompetence and disrespect I wouldn't wish on anyone. To start, it took FORTY minutes just to get water. Not drinks, not appetizers - just WATER. And from there, things went downhill fast. We waited over TWO HOURS for our food to arrive, only for it to show up cold and poorly prepared. Out of 10 meals, SIX had serious issues - wrong items, undercooked food, and missing ingredients. To top it all off, one person in our group NEVER received their food at all. Not late - just never showed up. When we tried to address this with the wait staff, we were met with attitude, eye rolls, and flat-out rudeness. And don't even get me started on the manager. Instead of apologizing or offering any kind of solution, they were dismissive and borderline hostile. It felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there. We spent hours at this restaurant and left hungry, frustrated, and furious. There was no accountability, no compensation offered, and no basic human decency. DO NOT waste your time or money here. The red headed hostess was extremely rude to us - she really shouldn't be the first person to greet people. The only good things was our waiter. He did a good job and was very efficient. The Oriental Chicken Salad was the worst I've ever had - the lettuce was old and very soggy. The dressing did not taste like the dressing on previous salads - it really didn't have any taste, just soggy! The Chicken Madara was not good - the sauce tasted burnt. She also seemed annoyed of us. My sister received scrambled eggs, but asked for over medium, so the waitress also apologized and asked that they cook new eggs. My sister receives her eggs but now they are sunny side up, with runny white. She asks again to make over medium eggs, which the waitress took it back. My wife and I finally received the replacement Benedict's, but this time the hollandaise sauce was thick and disgusting. I put the sauce over mine and it immediately turned to liquid and seemed to only look like butter. My wife's tasted like they added buffalo sauce and was absolutely disgusting. The muffins were thin and hard as a rock. My sister now receives correctly cooked eggs, but now we have EGG SHELLS sitting on the top of the egg. This was one of the worst experiences we have had at any restaurant and the quality of the meals were sub par. We could have easily went to Dennys for far better quality. I would be ashamed if I were the manager and the manager we had was very off put that we complained and let alone didn't really want to do anything for us, but they eventually took our Benedict's off the bill and gave some credit to my sister. Again, we will never come back to this location, or may only come back for lunch/dinner. But Tru Religion is far superior for breakfast around this area and would not recommend this place for any type of brunch. read more

Unfortunately the waitress has not been informed to let me know, as I would have chosen a different plate if I had know. Wow if I could leave no start I would ... went to celebrate my birthday yesterday and just a pre text of how much I tried to accommodate the restaurant because I knew we were taking a party of 12 in there. I called the night before tried to make a reservation they wouldn't let me even talk to a manager. They said the recommend getting there an hour early for large party's. So we get there an hour early tell the very snotty host about the party of 12 she remarks with I have to get my manager. Then the manager comes ask me to follow me outside that they have no room inside and it would be at least another hour to wait for a table. The heaters do not work outside it was freezing I have a 2 years and a 5 month old that I wrapped in blankets . Then the best part before they sat us the manager himself said he was gonna set up our table and to give him 10 minutes after 25 minutes and then the host saying we never spoke to her or the manager they forgot our table and supposedly she already sat us lol.... Then we get sat....... 3 hours for food to come out. 35 minutes for 2 cocktails 4 sodas and 2 beers..... this is the worse experience we have ever had at a cheesecake factory will never go back and it's super embarrassing that they have a manager like that running the place.
