I died and went to heaven after eating my burger and fries! I had the Garlic Burger because despite getting bad breath you get a burger that was master crafted by who you might think is SpongeBob SquarePants himself! So you literally cannot go wrong! The fries paired with their fry sauce is like eating ice cream with cake at a birthday party! I had a wonderful experience and will be coming back! The sign is bright and classy, inside you have a huge menu so you don't have to squint to see the options. There are a lot of pictures so you can see which burger fits your fancy as well as knowing the ingredients! The restaurant was clean, the staff were nice and welcoming! This is usually one of the best places in Provo to get a burger: good food, good service. But today something went wrong. I ordered a garlic burger to go. While I was waiting an in-store customer came to the counter with his burger asking for it to be remade. He said it was so salty that it was inedible. I just thought someone made a mistake, picked up my burger, and went to lunch. But when I bit into it, mine too was so salty that I couldn't eat it. Two thin charred patties, caramelized onions, Get it. Garlic burger, oh my, yes, egg, yes! Bbq bacon cheeseburger, again they nailed it, delicious. Kids bacon cheeseburger- my son gobbled it up. The buns are perfect, they have this toasted buttery flavor, so good. Tater tots, fries, and onion rings are all are so good! The sweet potato fries were probably our favorite! I've been going to this restaurant for years and I wanted to preface by saying I have been eating here since I moved to Utah county. The service at this location is almost always top notch, they are kind and friendly and have a great understanding of the menu without making you feel rushed. Now that being said I didn't have the greatest experience this time but the girl who took our order is was very helpful but she left because her shift was over after helping us with our order. The first negative thing was the drink machine. It has not been cleaned in years. There's a layer of filth on it that has been there since my first time at the restaurant and I'm not even exaggerating. We told them their machine was dirty years ago. We told them that it was very dirty and the machine smells a little. Also it looked like mold and mildew was growing out of the top yuck! So we've brought our own beverage for years because of that. Normally the restaurant is cleanish minus the drink machine but you can visibly see the dirt on the floors. Which I understand happens with the flooring material it's just not the best. It just seemed so grimy in there. We originally were going to sit outside because of this. We mainly sat inside because after waiting about ten minutes I went back in to check for my order which no one checked to see if we were outside like we mentioned to the staff. They maybe just didn't hear us but by the time we got our food it was cold. Which I get miscommunications happen all the time. I'm sure that was what happened. The food was decent, the fries were lacking any flavor but salt and they were cold. The burger was good well seasoned, it was little but that was to be expected since it was a kids meal. The tater tots were great and would have been out of the park if they were hot but they were still good as is. They have my fave tots in all of Utah County so far and I enjoyed them. Overall, I enjoy this place but it just missed the mark. I think I may just continue to frequent the American Fork location. This one seems to have seen better days lately. Luckily for them the college crowd is looking for reasonably priced delicious eats. This restaurant foots the bill. However it is not it for me and my husband. Especially when we tip and get cold food. ( I happily tip, but when I have to get my food and it's cold that's just a big ol bummer) I hope they take some time and invest in 1. Cleaning the drink machines, 2. Cleaning the floor, 3. Maybe fixing the roof distressed is a look that looks better on pants. We celebrated my birthday at CHOM tonight and honestly -- 10/10 experience. We showed up with a HUGE order and the entire crew from the back of the house to the front, absolutely crushed it: fast, smooth, and great energy from start to finish. As a restaurant owner myself, I know how that level of execution can be stressful especially on a busy Friday night, and they made it look easy. The food is ridiculously good -- fresh, flavorful, and consistently hits every craving. And the shakes? Next-level. This is the kind of spot where you kick back, stuff your face without regrets, and leave way happier than you arrived. Bonus: there's a killer vintage clothing shop going in next door! Solid burger place! Would definitely go again when I'm in the area. I thought the burger size was perfect. Enough to finish in one sitting and be very very full. Especially if you order the combo. While visiting family a couple weeks we stopped in for lunch. The sandwich options were good. I split the BBQ chicken sandwich with my 15 yr old daughter. It was good, I really loved that we could order the sweet potato fries 50/50 with the regular fries. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating. It felt a little loud inside and felt like the tables could use a wipe down even though it wasn't terribly busy and it wasn't much past opening. We opted to eat outside and it was nice they had covered seating because it did end up raining. The milkshake was basic, not bad but not remarkable. True rating: 4.5 I'm impressed by the variety of burgers (different toppings, sauces, etc.) that CHOM has. I got the green chile burger and it was a solid burger, but nothing like crazily delicious (hence the 4.5 instead of 5). That being said, everything at CHOM is pretty solid. The fries are thinner and therefore crispier! I also got the pb banana milkshake and I have to admit that it was bomb. I'm excited to go back again and try everything else! read more

Not great. The burger itself was a bit pink but overall it was fine. The Oreo shake was disappointing it was icy and mostly crumbs. There were not large pieces of Oreo or whip cream as pictured in the menu. The 50/50 fries were pretty good and the sauce was excellent. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here. I'd driven past this place dozens of times and I'm glad I finally got to stop in and try it. The shared parking lot behind the restaurant is your best bet for parking. There is a ton of seating in the restaurant and it is tastefully decorated. There are a ton of fun movie quotes on the walls. The food was really good and was prepared pretty quickly. Great spot for a burger in Provo! I ordered the green chili avocado burger and it was very yummy! Not spicy at all, just good flavor from the chilis. My only complaint is that it was very messy to eat. It pretty much fell apart more and more with each bite. They have a great selection of burgers - you can't go wrong! Best burgers in Provo/Orem. There's a strange amount of burger places nearby, but after trying them all I think Chom takes the cake for quality quantity and price point. Portions are respectable, and the large fries are easily enough for 2. Sweet potato fries are perfectly sweet and crispy and thin. All the burgers I've tried have very tasty and unique sauces that make the burger. Nothing really special about the ambience, they have some TVs playing. It can get crowded. Parking is a bit tough too, if there's a spot on the street I'd take that. Improve: Burger bun on th Serrano gets a bit too wet and crumbles away. The pics of the shakes have whipped cream and our shake didn't come with it. We asked for some but was turned down. Small thing, but the extra touch would be nice. Wait time is a little on the longer side. We waited 10-15 minutes maybe and no one else was in line. Went another time when there was a long line and it was more like 20+ minutes. Fry sauce was out and napkins. Maybe it was a bad time but they could stay on top of that more. read more

The egg is always perfect with its yolk that breaks when you bite into it and not sooner. The bun is my new favorite burger bun I've ever eaten at any price point. The fries are so perfectly seasoned and not over-salty. And the menu is so full of different, unique burgers plus the limited time ones that every time I go I'm already planning my next trip to try the next new one or go back to another favorite! The crunchy fried onion and sauce was great and it is definitely the best menu item I've tried so far! I also for the banana pudding shake of the month and it was delicious! The food was great! I got a BBQ bacon burger, fries, and a drink. All of which tasted delicious. My fries were piping hot and my burger hit the spot, I loved the bread on the burger. I would definitely recommend d coming to this spot. It's a nice walk down Provo Center Street and University avenue. My wife and I parked over on center street walked around and eventually ended up at Chom. There is closer parking but we did that for fun. The design is cool and the lighting is good. I love all the movie quotes they put on the wall. Service was good. A favorite Provo burger place for sure.
