As a vegetarian, this is the only place that keeps me up at night. I could end my review there, but Kluck's deserves all of the praise I can give. As a lover of sauce, this place won me over. I originally only gave 4 stars because the plain unseasoned chicken felt a little oily and not very flavorful to me, but the fries and sauces were so good. I just wished I had gotten one of the flavored chicken items rather than the original, I think it needed a little more flavor. Price was a little high but the chicken was very fresh and high quality. I loved the house made sauces too, I just wish you could get more than 3 per meal. The orangie sauce was my favorite. A few weeks later, I returned to Kluck's for a sandwich instead of the tenders and was forced to come back to change my review from a 4 to a 5. The only complaint I have now is that the napkins are too thin to handle the aftermath of the beautiful mess of their ultimate spicy chicken sandwich. I'm a big fan of Pretty Bird in SLC, but Kluck's sandwich might just have them beat. The fries were hot and crispy and well seasoned. The bun couldn't quite contain everything, but it didn't get soggy and had a good flavor. The kluckin' sauce perfectly complemented the tangy dry rub and the chicken itself was buttery on the inside and had the perfect amount of sweet, delicate crunch on the outside. I definitely recommended dining in, it won't be the same once you drive it home. All in all, Kluck's serves up a perfect hot chicken sandwich. Zero complaints from me. (I might go for the classic rather than the spicy next time though. Neither my mouth or stomach were prepared for that heat.) It's a small spot but it's clean and you can tell the owner has a lot of heart and cares about her business. This chicken is probably the best I've had in Utah. You can't go wrong with either the tendies or the sandos, they're both good. For the tenders, I like the garlic (which is sweet as well) and the hottie. For the sando, honestly they're all good. The cheesy is nacho cheese, so make sure you eat it fresh or else it will get a little soggy. They used to have wings, which is what I'd usually recommend, but unfortunately with how the price of chicken is these days they're not running it on the menu. I went here yesterday and we ordered 3 meals ($45). They mislabeled our sandwiches as we bit into them we looked again to check and they were cross labeled. I mentioned this to the manager and he was like oh sorry. I asked so... what can we do to make this right. He was like "I can give you some Mac salad." I was like how about you remake the sandwiches. Or refund me the price of a meal. He was like well I'll remake one sandwich. I was like okay that's fine I guess. About 15 mins later I went to ask if the sandwich was ready. He said I told you I wasn't going to make them because you took a bite out of them. And we labeled them correctly. I reminded him that he he had labeled one "orig", and one "og". Tell me what one meant spicy? So them denying fault and not caring about delivering the correct meal to people, but more importantly not caring about their customer. Remaking the sandwiches would have cost them $5, for both. Refunding one meal would have cost them $15, for them fighting with me in front of their whole dining room will cost them my patronage as well as others that witnessed how they treat customers. The food is good, but there are a lot of other places as good or better that care about the customer. read more

We've heard about this place we thought we give it a try and so today we went by and had the spicy chicken sandwich and the garlic chicken pieces. The sandwich was certainly a lot more flavorful moisture and we like the flip we liked it and as a whole better...Much moister than the pieces. Pieces we found to be a little greasy in fact at the bottom of the container there was a lot of excess grease that was kind of a turn off. There are a lot of different sauces if you like tenders to dip in different sauces this is your place. This was so close to a five star review for me. I've been here a ton of times since their opening week. My whole family loves the place. The service has always been great here, even if they've messed up our order a couple of times. Before we stopped dining in (pandemic), they always quickly made up for it. I've had all of their entrees, minus the bone-in chicken (I've actually never seen it listed on their menu the several times I've ordered inside) both sides and sampled all of their sauces over the dozen or so times I've gotten food from there. All of it is good to great food. I'd rate the fries and mac salad as decent. The mac salad has always been properly al dente, with a bit of a unique flavor, while the curly fries are a nice change from the regular fries available anywhere else. Their non-curly fries are alright. Not bad at all, but alright. The sides are good, just nothing special. We all really love the many sauces they have to choose from. My favorites are the Korean BBQ, spicy and "orangie" sauces. All of the sandwiches are really good, with the Ultimate Spicy Krispy Chicken Sandwich being absolutely fantastic, in my opinion. It's got the crispy, savory, sweet, spicy, tangy thing going on, with a soft brioche bun, to boot. The chicken tenders are really good, with the Garlic Krispy Chicken also being fantastic. Seriously, the first time I had these, I was ooohing and ahhing as I finished off one order and got back in line to order a second. The three things that would make this a slam-dunk five star place are the following: - Better sides to go with the amazing chicken. They aren't bad, but not as much attention and "love" has gone into those as into the chicken. - A more convenient way to order takeout than having to call over the phone. - Just more consistency in getting our orders correct. As I said, they've been great at always making it right. But they're always so busy that it usually takes a while to grab an employee to get the order corrected. In the end, this place is one of my (and family's) favorite restaurants. It's a local place, and the owners are "living the dream", having started out as a small operation at the farmer's market, saving up cash to open this location. The first time I went in, I chatted it up with one of the owners who was manning the cash register at the time. Very humble, down-to-earth guy that is just trying to make his customers happy. Clearly word is out as the wait for our take out food was long and nerve wracking in a restaurant not spacing or limiting tables at all nor putting reminders out to distance in the line. Wow. This was absolutely incredible. I got the classic chicken sandwich meal. Honestly next time I'll just get the sandwich, it was huge and incredibly filling. The chicken is fried perfectly, it's absurdly crispy, and the slaw they put on top is absolutely delicious, I may ask for double the slaw next time. Klucks is very very close to getting 5-stars. As a little background, I had a friend send me this as a recommendation on Yelp so I decided to try it out. I was very impressed with the chicken sandwich. I got the spicy chicken sandwich, and it was delicious. It had a spicy cabbage/coleslaw that was quite yummy. Mayo based for sure. The chicken was fried to perfection. Juicy and flavorful. The bun was also great. Not too much bread, but great. I also really enjoyed the sauces that they had. They had a korean BBQ sauce which I really liked, and a spicy sauce too. I would say that from what I've had, this is the best chicken sandwich in Provo. Best sandwich in the State is at Pretty Bird in SLC. The thing that keeps it getting 5-stars are the fries. I wish they would do something to perk these up. They were just average from a bag.
