From the moment you walk in, everything feels intentional and the interior is spotless (including the bathrooms). They have fast and friendly service, and a clean, modern vibe. You can sit indoors or enjoy the patio, and the Toast mobile ordering system makes group dining effortless. Everyone can order individually from their phone and there's no bill splitting issues. We ordered the Breakfast Sando, Nutella and Original Soufflé Pancakes, Kalbi Jjim Eggs Benedict, and a Vanilla bean iced latte & every single item was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The soufflé pancakes are next level! They're light, airy, and "melt in your mouth" type of dish. And the Kalbi Benedict was definitely rich, savory, and absolutely unforgettable. Pricing is generous for the quality you get. You walk out full, happy, and impressed without breaking the bank. The Kitch Café checks every box and it's an easy 5/5. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is polished yet welcoming, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a standout brunch. With independent phone ordering, fast service, beautiful plating, and perfect pricing, it's honestly one of the best spots I've discovered lately. Thank you for an amazing experience. read more

Came here around 11am on Sunday so there was just a bit of a wait. There's Yelp check-in available ahead of time so be sure to do that so you save wait time once you get there. I would definitely recommend the kalbi jjim eggs Benedict. It's like a Korean-American take on eggs Benedict, one of the best I've ever had. The meat was so juicy and the hollandaise sauce was full of flavor. You get the option to choose your side - hash browns, fruit, and toast. I decided with hash browns which I do not regret. It's different than your typical hashbrowns, it was like crispy shreds of potato which I personally prefer. We also got the smoked meatloaf hash skillet which comes with a side of toast of your preference. It was good, very savory and full of flavor. I wouldn't recommend the ube brûlée brick French toast, it was drizzled with some ube syrup but it didn't really have too much flavor. I liked the custard surprise inside of the French toast. Next time I'd probably get the biscoff banana French toast. read more

We ordered Kabli Jjim Eggs Benedict, Loco Moco, and Original Brûlée Bricks French Toast, which totaled to roughly $60. The eggs benedict was underwhelming for the price. The loco moco was a complete miss for me; the meat in it spoiled my appetite completely and made me feel unwell after. The french toast wasn't bad, but again, nothing special for the price. Unfortunately, we also received dirty shareable plates and the restaurant had a strange smell all throughout. The staff was friendly and apologetic, but it was hard to move past everything when eating the food. read more

Sunday brunch with my baby girl. So my 18 y/o, Ariel, turned 19. We couldn't celebrate in person bc I flew her out to Seattle to visit her big sis for her birthday. In her stead I brought Ariel's baby girl, Shawna, to eat brunch at my favorite restaurant, enjoy cigars, then to head to church where I played Shawna during worship service. But I digress... Kitch never disappoints. It was busy as expected but it was so worth the wait. I had the Biscoff French Toast, again, and paired it with the loco moco to enjoy both sweet and savory. Perfect to the last bite. I don't care if you're in SD or SF. There's no place that makes a better brunch than Kitch Cafe. Enjoy brunch... then come join us for a chill contemporary Sunday service down the street. It's a win win! Hillside North OC. https://hillsidenorthoc.com/ read more

Grand Opening on March 12 | Wednesday Galbi Jjim Eggs Benedict and French Toast are by far my two favorite dishes I recommend here at @kitch_cafe . It's at the perfect spot right across from the Fullerton Barnes & Noble off of Malvern. They got legit espresso machine and serving up lattes using @bebrightcoffee beans! I also love they have a kids menu and the menu is appealing for all sorts of taste. I was excited to check out this new spot during their soft opening. Other items I forgot to mention is their Loco Moco, open faced smoked salmon toast and prosciutto hot honey toast on raisin toast is something to consider as well. FYI: after 4pm, KITCH turns into a pizzeria! It's the best of both worlds. read more

kitch is a korean fusion restaurant that has been getting popular by their unique french toast bricks. parking is free, service is good, and the environment is nice for a casual brunch. my overall opinion is that they had good flavors but i didn't love the textures personally. the biscoff banana french toast was a nice balance of soft bread with chewy egg on the outside, but i think the egg of the french toast was a little overcooked which made the skin of the toast a bit tough. otherwise the cream and toppings and overall flavors were delicious! the kalbi jjim eggs benedict had a very buttery sauce and the eggs were watery and smooth. the meat was a little tough and the bread a bit too thick and dense for me, but the flavors were sweet and paired nicely with hot sauce. you get a choice of side and i chose hash browns which were a bit overcooked and too stringy and hard on top read more

OKAYYYYYYYY! So this place was just amazing. BEST EGGS BENEDICT I have ever had!! We got: Galbi jjim eggs Benedict with their hashbrowns 10/10 Banana French toast 9/10 (recommended to us from a server) and Matcha lattes with ube syrup 6/10 (but they have multiple syrup options! Maybe ube just wasn't it..?) We arrived on a Saturday around 10:40am and arrived right before the rush! It looked so busy already but since we were okay with sitting indoor or at the outdoor seating section, we were welcomed in in just a few minutes. You order and pay before sitting down which allowed us leave at our leisure once we were done. The guy who took our order was so kind and helpful in helping us decide what to order and giving us recommendations of what he likes-- I always appreciate this! We weren't indoor for too long since we only ordered inside but the place looked cute and clean! Parking is free and available in the outdoor lots all around as the cafe is in a complex, with plenty of stores around to shop at before or after your brunch. If you come on a Saturday between 11-1 pm it is probably packed and you can expect some wait time. But it just might be worth it!! The eggs Benedict is for sure one of the best I have had, coming from a big critic. The base was not soggy or too toasted, and the egg was done just perfectly: warm and cooked through with a completely runny and silky egg yolk, jiggly whites but not overcooked! And the sauce was AMAZING! It was not broken, did not get that hardened film on top as it sat out, and the meat was so flavorful and tender. Paired with hashbrowns cooked crispy on the outside without being crunchy, flavorful onions.... Everything about this dish amazes me. The banana French toast was also so unique!! A bit less to say since I had less of it after getting full on the eggs, but the cubed toast was so unique and actually allows for you to really grab onto the thick, balanced sweet cream with each bite, SO GOOD! The bananas were fresh and sweet, and overall, presented so beautifully! We took it in a to-go box and finished later at home. Now I would have totally given five stars besides their matcha .. not sure if we got an off batch or if it's the ube syrup that did not pair well, but the matchas did not have too strong of a flavor, were a bit grainy, and not as creamy as I would have wanted. It was not bad, but I ended up not finishing it. I am willing to try it again with a different syrup, since I for sure want to come back and try the pork belly eggs Benedict next! 4 stars for this visit but based on the standard they have set overall, I wouldn't be surprised if a following visit woooo's me to 5 stars read more

Short wait for party of 2 on a Sunday. An employee gave us menus during our wait which made the ordering super fast and easy. Food was tasty - we got the kalbi jjim benedict with home fries and loco moco. Unfortunately, it seems our order was forgotten about because my benedict came out not warm at all, and we heard a server mention our table number with an "oh shoot" as well. Did not try the matcha but the color on it looked great. Would come back to try different stuff! read more

I was pretty excited to come to this new brunch spot in Fullerton, especially since their menu seems to have some cool items. Fullerton needs a brunch place like this! Kitch creatively and thoughtfully integrates Asian-inspired flavors and styles with classic brunch dishes. I loved their take on a cucumber/avocado toast with nori flakes on top and souffle pancakes which held the perfect balance of sweetness and fluffiness. The natural sunlight, high ceilings, and neutral interior makes it a bright and cozy place to have brunch with family or friends! Also, the staff were so friendly, attentive, and welcoming as they provided helpful suggestions of their own favorite dishes. Definitely will be back! read more

first time visiting....sure to return! we got 3 dishes, my smoked trout toast was excellent. Husband got the brisket sandwich, son got the shakshuka. The tallow fries were just a bit too soggy for husband, so the manager Thomas promptly offered to replace them. Excellent customer service, wow! The Nutella souffle pancakes had a yummy whipped cream and a ton of crushed Oreos that was enough for all of us to share. We ordered and paid from the table using the QR code. Ice water was self service inside. Bathrooms are clean, great to see. AND the patio was dog friendly, so it was a nice place to sit in the shade with all of us and enjoy our meal. Definitely recommend ! read more

The brick french toast went viral on tiktok so i stopped in to try. Not sure if its a one off, but my french toast was dry and unseasoned. The strawberry sauce was fresh though. The soufflé pancakes were also really eggy. I did not enjoy them. Every bite tasted like egg which is the mark of a bad soufflé. My friend ejoyed her chicken and waffles so maybe stay away from the sweet breakfasts and stick to the savory? Probably won't try this again since out of three entrees only one was good. Service was quick and there was plenty of seating on a sunday around 2pm. read more

Good intentions just aren't good enough... The menu loos amazing! You get your hopes up only to be underwhelmed. The fluffy pancakes lack flavor and are just too eggy. The smoked brisket breakfast burrito was the same...small amount of brisket, mostly potatoes that were crispy on the outside and gummy on the inside...and lacking flavor. The avocado toast? Same- no flavor. The thing for me is a beautiful plate only gets you to the first bite, then it's all taste...and there just wasn't any. So we got there at 9:45am today (Sunday). Ordered 4 meals and 3 drinks...first meal came maybe 15 minutes later...second meal maybe 5 minutes after that...the other two meals maybe 8-10 minutes after that. And as we watched everyone else in the restaurant, we noticed a lot of the same...tables with one person with food waiting for everyone else at the table to get theirs. I admit I'm not a chef and I don't know what it takes to serve a complete table at a time, but it's unacceptable to get all the meals at a table over a span of 30 minutes. And drinks? After 45 minutes of waiting we canceled. I saw at least 7 people who came in after us get their drinks ahead of us...in some cases ordering the same thing. And to top it off, the guy who was trying to refund my drinks just told me to trust him that the refund worked despite him not knowing of it worked and also not being able to print a receipt for me or prove that he actually refunded my money. Which prompted a guy I thought was maybe the owner or manager to literally pull money from his own pocket and hand it to me with an apology. Insanely poor execution of good intent. The wait staff was running table to table, clearly overwhelmed but all with a smile. I felt bad for them. They were understaffed by a long shot and yet looked like they couldn't have fit another person on staff...simply too many customers ordering too many things and not nearly enough capacity to serve them all. I heard one guy complain that he ordered 50 minutes earlier and still didn't have food. I heard one of the baristas tell a waiter they were behind one hour on drinks...then he laughed. The ambiance could work with the beauty of the food if they found a way to meet capacity or stop people from ordering AND they added some flavor. Anyway, I wonder if I'd give a 4 or 5 star if I went here in a slow day, and just salted my food. Anyway, this is what I experienced and this is likely what happens when a social media push brings you more business than you're capable of handling. A blessing and a curse. If they figure it out, this place could be special. read more

I live super nearby this shopping center and was excited to see an original, non chain restaurant open up. From what it seems like, they just barely opened last week, so not sure how much of this experience may change in the future. For starters, the space is very cute and clean with tons of natural light and feels like the perfect spot for brunch. They have both indoor and outdoor self seating, and even though it was busy, it was still very easy to find a table after we placed our order. We ordered off the brunch menu when we came, but they also offer pizzas and salads for lunch/dinner and they looked pretty good! The brunch menu had many unique options that we were pretty excited to try, but if there was one note I would give, there were not a lot of protein options outside of beef and pork. For vegans or anyone looking for leaner options (turkey or chicken) there won't be much to choose from on that end. Still, their menu is very solid with a lot of options you won't find at any other brunch spot nearby. For their drinks their options are actually more varied than their menu lists (I was surprised that the lattes had many different flavors to choose from that were not listed on the menu). For food we chose the Matcha Pancakes, Biscoff Banana French Toast, and a side of Portuguese sausage. The pancakes were tasty, but for $16, the portion size did not match the price being charged. The plate was very pretty, but the size of the pancakes were on the smaller end and you'll only get two of them (most other breakfast spots will at least give you close to a full stack or larger sized pancakes for that price point). On the other hand, the French toast was perfectly portioned, but was unfortunately pretty dry despite all the sauce and cream that it came with. It's a great flavor combo, but the bread kept it from really being a home run. The sausage was great, and very fresh and one of the tastier items I had. I think most of the downfalls of the food came from the restaurant still being new, and not fully working out the kinks of their offerings. The menu is ambitious, but I think with some simplifying and tweaks, the experience would be more consistent! That being said, I was very curious to try some of their other offerings which all sounded really tasty! Service wise, there is a lot being done right and a lot that needs to be improved. First and foremost, the staff is exceptionally welcoming and kind. Carissa took our order and was so friendly, she really gave a great first impression! Despite this, the service was inconsistent. While we were told our food would take longer to come out, it actually arrived at our table only minutes after ordering! While this was great, our lattes took almost a full hour to arrive at our table. We would frequently be checked on by the staff (and at one point the owner) asking if there was anything missing, and we would still go large amounts of time after without anything arriving. At one point we were brought a drink that was not the correct order and unfortunately had to send it back before waiting almost another 15 minutes without anything. It would take another incorrect order being sent to our table before the item I had ordered had been delivered, which by that point I was more set on leaving the restaurant than getting my coffee. If there was one saving grace for this situation, it was that the staff and the owner were super apologetic and even offered to comp our meal for the long wait. To their credit, the location was PACKED, and they seemed slightly understaffed when we came in. At no point did it seem like people were standing around doing nothing. Even the owner was running food and clearing tables, so I can only imagine that it would be easy to lose track of orders while trying to keep up with the rush. Truly I wasn't upset about any of it, but I just want to mention in hopes that they can use it to smooth out their service as they get up and running! Overall, for a small business that's only been up and running barely two weeks, they're off to a great start! Truthfully, I'm probably gonna wait a while to return while they smooth out their operation, but it's really nice to see a business in the area offering something new and unique! I'm hoping they stay around and I look forward to trying out more of their menu (I might skip the coffee next time though). read more

We live down the street and saw this place opening and thought "FINALLY A GOOD BREAKFAST SPOT NEAR BY"! Finally decided to stop in since they just opened this week :D The interior is super clean and chill. The menu has A LOT to pick from and everything sounded soooo yummy! Carissa, the red head working the front, was extremely nice and friendly! We helped us pick our items and drinks. We decided to get the matcha soufflé pancakes and their banana biscoff cookie french toast. They sounded SOO delicious. We also got a hot lavender matcha latte and an iced strawberry oat milk latte just to see how good their coffee is (we are BIG coffee people). We were warned that the food will take up to 30 min since they were a little busy (understandable they're new!). The food honestly came out REALLY quick, 10 min max. Honestly, both of the items do need a little revision though. The pancakes are very small and don't really have a strong matcha flavor. They tasted like egg/ heavy cream. The french toast though, the flavor is very good yet the actual bread part is very dry. Id recommend soaking them in a custard or cream while baking them! They become a lot more flavorful and moist. Drinks! We got our food, ate it and waited alittle for the drinks. We gave them awhile because they're busy and new! Around the 30 min mark I walked up to the front and just checked where we were on the orders because we had to leave for a appointment in 30 min and the worker said "oh we have your ticket" so I thought we were next! I sat back down and someone came over with an iced strawberry matcha and handed it to me and walked away. Which was weird because we didnt order that at all. I was going to just bite the bullet and drink it but them i noticed there was 2 long hairs inside the actual drink :(((( I showed them and they just walked away and said "oh that wasn't yours". Sat back down and mind you, this is now the 45 min mark for the drinks. The owner, Genie, came over and chatted and asked what happened. She's extremely nice and professional! She went and told them to make our drinks to go just incase since we had to leave. Someone came back over and gave us the wrong drink again, but we just kept it because we just wanted a drink and to head out. But around the hour mark both Genie and Carissa came over to apologize and give us our drinks! Again, I completely understand the struggle. I used to be a manager at a brunch spot in Fullerton as well and it gets overwhelming!! After they settle in and find their footing, we will forsure be back to try more yummy items! Thank you so much Genie and Carissa :D Im wishing the best for the business! read more

This cafe just opened a few days before we ate here. We missed brunch, but they do have a good pizza menu and some sides for lunch. I got the loaded tater tots and beer battered onion rings. I was disappointed with both. The tater tots were nice and crispy but they are not my idea of "loaded". I added a picture and I just expected more. They were good. I just don't consider them "loaded". The onion rings were not crispy. The batter was soft. They didn't seem fried long enough and had no crisp. I love beer battered things and these just really fell short. I do want to return to try brunch since that really looks like the specialty. I am also keeping in mind they are new and were very busy. It takes some time to get into the rhythm of how things will run and make little tweaks. The staff were so nice and friendly. Everyone was working so hard. Honestly because the staff was so great I am willing to return in a few weeks and amend my review if needed! Also, the drinks were great! Looking forward to going back. read more

Their food is great but they take an eternity both for sit down orders and takeout . Sadly it will be the last time I come here it's happened too many times. Prior to this last visit I came with my husband for breakfast it was a busy morning so we didn't mind the wait for the food but we received our food and never got our drinks . Stopped by for a late Sunday brunch and it was very solid. The place has a relaxed cafe feel with plenty of seating, and service was quick without feeling rushed. Menu leans Korean fusion with a mix of sweet and savory, with a varied menu to choose from. We ordered the Kalbi Jjim Eggs Benedict, Spicy Korean Pork Belly Burrito, Prosciutto Burrata Hot Honey Toast, Banana Cream Matcha, and the Cereal Milk Shaved Snow. The spicy Korean pork belly burrito and the prosciutto burrata hot honey toast stood out the most for me -- both were flavorful and well-balanced without being too heavy. The eggs benedict was solid, and the matcha was smooth and not overly sweet. The cereal milk shaved snow was a great way to end the meal, light but still really satisfying. Overall a very dependable Korean fusion brunch spot. Definitely will visit again when I'm in the area to try some other items. read more

I got their blueberry banana matcha latte without their banana cream since I just wanted a blueberry matcha latte. Their secret ingredient is Nori and that was a game changer. And the Matcha soufflé pancakes... Get out of here right now with those. Service was nice! They were well communicative of how long certain items would take to come out. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt the need to write about this one. We got the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict, Prosciutto Hot Honey, Soufflé Pancake, an Iced Matcha as well as a Strawberry Iced Matcha. Respectfully, the food here is way too expensive for how mediocre/bland it is. Like if you're paying for $80 worth of food, you'd probably expect for it to be full of flavor and to at the very least come out hot. The Eggs Benedict was served with soggy hash browns and was cold. The Prosciutto was honestly the best thing we had, but even for the price it wasn't worth. I could honestly barely even taste the hot honey. The matcha was okay at best, definitely tasted more like milk than anything. The worst thing we had was definitely the Soufflé Pancake. It was way too eggy and the texture was just off. I wouldn't waste my time getting this ever again, knowing theres better Soufflé Pancakes out there. On top of all of this, the plating was terrible and I wasn't even sure if the food was going to be appetizing at all. There are only four basic factors that determine how good your food will taste: salt, fat, acid, and heat. This place hit literally none of it. read more

Pretty good! They make you order/pay first before sitting down. Galbi Jjim benedict: 4/5 the dish had really good flavors and the meat was tender. However, the egg was pretty undercooked Hash browns: 3/5 hash browns are always good but it would've been better if it came out more crispy Brisket burrito: 3.5/5 the brisket was smokey, flavorful, and tender. the portion was great and the burrito was filled with hasbrowns/egg. It only came with tomato salsa, no sauce. It would be better if they included a side or some green salsa. Stawberry matcha: 5/5! Strong ish matcha sweetened with strawberry. I was pleasantly surprised the strawberry wasn't chunky which is nice since a lot of places make it differently. Service: 3/5 The staff was nice but the food took a bit long to come out. it took probably 25-30 minutes and we didn't get served at the same time. I saw the server with one of the dishes but they held onto it for a while looking confused... i think they should train the servers better. Water was also self service, which is fine but having someone bring it to you would be better. I'm not sure if it being a "cafe" had anything to do with not being serviced as much as restaurants but it would be nice. Overall, I think the food is good and the menu had a lot of good options. The ambiance was nice and modern. The menu had promise with fusion and upscale options The place was about 70% to capacity so not full by any means. First the food took extremely long to come out. Ordered at 12:52 and the first thing that came out 30mins later was the soufflé which was underwhelming and tasted too eggy almost undercooked. We had to asked 3 times for our order as we saw plenty of people who came in after us get their food. Wait staff wandered the place aimlessly looking for numbers to drop food but eventually got fed up and yelled peoples names out. We had our food walk past us five times before we stopped the person to ask and even two wait staff were confused. One said the loco moco was for order 45 but the second said he already dropped off for 45. What a s*it show of mis management of the tickets and tables. The two ladies next to us ordered after, got their food, ate, and was waiting on their third dish to a point they even got fed up and cancelled their brick toast. All in all the food was mediocre at best, lacked flavor, the wait was way too long, wait staff was confused and thus the food that did come was COLD. Brisket burrito was cooked perfectly. The meat wasn't overcooked or dry. My favorite was the Biscoff Banana Toast. It may look very sweet, but it was not at all. The perfect dessert to end the meals. We tried a handful of their dishes and everything was perfectly seasoned -- nothing was too salty or too sweet :) I tried their banana biscoff French toast which was not too sweet (aka perfect!!), The smoked brisket breakfast burrito, loco moco, smoked trout open faced toast, matcha soufflé pancakes, sausage hash, prosciutto toast and everything was so delicious I definitely recommend Kitch Cafe for great vibes and delicious brunch! I can't want to come back to try their dinner menu as well :) read more

Kitch Cafe is a must-visit and place we are missing in OC! Finally a cute and adorable new breakfast spot in Fullerton. It has a modern vibe with both cozy indoor seating and a great outdoor patio. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet or savory, their menu has a nice mix of options. I am blown away by the quality and variety of foods. It has both traditional and a twist of Asian flavors. Their menu can be ordered as a set with the option to substitute items. they have a few options making it a perfect way to order and share with friends or family. I came here with some girlfriends and we had a great time trying a variety of breakfast foods that I would otherwise have not tried. Can't wait to come back!!! read more
