Plate underneath is NOT mine & I could only stomach 1/2 of my Pad Thai.
Tanya B.

I had the worst Pad Thai ever. There were no sprouts, green onions, sauce or seasoning, only oil & cracked red pepper as the sauce. Also, there was not even a lemon to squeeze over for SOME flavor. When she brought the bill I told her so, but she still charged me even though I only ate half. She left to run my card for payment & while doing so she left someone else's dirty plate on my table.

Ma Po Tofu

Authentic! Three of us had dinner on Christmas Day and every table was taken. The service is terrible. We saw perhaps only two servers for about 20 tables. We had to flag someone for every phase of our meal. The food was really good. The Ma Po Tofu was delicious. The Dumplings were very good. The Eggroll was good too. I enjoyed the Fried Rice too.

Dim Sum
Paulina T.

3 stars for dim sum this place is an okay quick fix for your cravings but don't have high expectations. It's just average and a little bland. Probably (at least it taste like) some items are frozen ready made dim sum food. But what they do pretty good here in flavors are their chicken feet and shark fin dumplings. Their turnip cake is a bit thicker and dense and has no dried shrimp flavor to it like it should. The shrimp rolls and BBQ pork bun isn't as sweet like its suppose to be. So you may need to use a bit more soy sauce, hoisin, etc... To give more taste to the food. For authentic Chinese food menu, it's pretty good! That is why its scoring itself a 4 star. They have live fish that they take out of the tank and cooked. Not many places do it here, but abundance in other city's Chinatowns. The authentic menu is pack full of flavors and definitely won't disappoint! They may have English barriers but just get pass the awkward stage and enjoy your food afterwards! That's all to it! So I would def recommend to go here for dinner and their authentic menu.

Does not look amazing from the outside or walking by but inside there is some solid Chinese food. It seemed to be takeout only when I went

Great place for some decent priced eats. Great for college students eating on a budget. More of a to go place rather than sit in.

You're also not paying an ambiance tax here - and the menu reflects it. The pork snout was really good and the bok choy was delicious too! This is an absolute gem of a spot for authentic Chinese food and I'll definitely be back.

We planned to order off of their lunch menu, and split a bowl of noodles for her birthday. Chinese tradition is to eat noodles on birthdays, so we asked the server what she recommended. She told us they actually offer complimentary birthday noodles! We were so surprised; we'd never heard of anywhere doing that before. We ordered the Twice-Cooked Pork Lunch, Fish with Chili Bean Sauce Lunch, and the Birthday Noodles. With lunch, we were allowed to select an egg roll, egg drop soup, or hot and sour soup. We both opted for the hot and sour soup. Even without the complimentary noodles, this meal was incredibly well-priced at $10.99 per lunch special. High quality dishes with plenty of meat and fresh vegetables. The noodles were simple but larger than expected, well-cooked, and delicious. My mom raved about this place. She hasn't had quality Chinese food at that price in a long time, and is telling all of our family members that we should go back when they're in town. It wasn't very busy, but we hope it was just the weather. Hopefully lots of people are supporting them! We can't wait to go back.

Wow wow wow! That was some flavorful, delicious Chinese food -- and with a fun, funky ambiance!…read more We were seated quickly at one of 2 open tables on a rainy Thursday evening. Ordered green tea, a Jade Dynasty cocktail and pot stickers to enjoy while we perused the menu (including the picture book!). The pot stickers were delicious! More like meatballs inside, served with a I-don't-know-what-this-is-but-it's-delicious sauce. We ordered and were pretty quickly delivered our mains: How Fun noodles (level 2 spice) with chicken and Pepper Beef (level 3 spice). Both were outstanding! The sauces on both were savory and delicious. The noodles were great - not slimy like they can sometimes be but firm yet delicate. The chicken was tasty. The pepper beef was tangy and tender with a nice balance of peppers and onions. Serving sizes big enough for lunch the next day. Vibrant decor made the place really feel alive and servers were friendly and efficient. We found street parking but I assume this part of Covington gets busy on weekend nights so allow a few minutes to find a spot. Bonus tip: stop at DelGardo's down the street and get a couple cannoli for dessert. Perfect end to a delicious meal!

First off, the place has a fun and playful vibe with the kung fu theme, especially when you're greeted by a Shaolin Soccer poster. The service is also A+! Extremely friendly and attentive. The portions are also generous. However......... my tastebuds are baffled. We ordered a hot and sour soup as our starter and it was extremely sweet. It was basically hot sugar soup. If we hadn't put our full order in at the same time as the app, we probably would've paid after the soup and left then. However, we did order and got the szechuan beef, general chu's sesame chicken, and the how fun noodles which we were all okay. Not memorable. I'm leaving one star because the staff and atmosphere were great. I've never been compelled to write a bad review, but I could not get past the sugary hot and sour soup. For $55, I'd really expect more flavor than just sugar and chili oil for all of the dishes.
