I would 100% recommend everyone to come here! The staff were so friendly and attentive, the food was prepared fresh, and the restaurant itself was cozy and welcoming! There are a lot of items on the menu, so that could be a little overwhelming for some, but everything looked really delicious. To begin, we ordered some lettuce wraps, chicken maki, and the ma la dumplings. Each of them were really fantastic. For my main meal, I ordered the sichuan triple because I couldn't decide! It was plenty for my meal and enough to enjoy the next day. When we came, we didn't have a reservation, so we did have to wait a few minutes (which was totally fine). However, I recommend making a reservation for your visit when you stop by! You won't regret coming here for dinner.

Hot and Sour - good, spicy

Carry out only review: We placed an order for pick up. When we arrived we were a little unsure about parking vs pulling up to the door due to signs stating it was valet only. Upon walking inside, a kind man told us he would have brought it out to the car, so next time just pull on up! That is nice to know. I think the eggrolls were the best i've ever had. They had chicken and peanuts inside which is unusual and quite tastier than the normal cabbage and shrimp. The chicken fried rice was a huge portion and tasted fine but could have used more seasoning. The hot and sour soup was good, definitely spicy and did include a small amount of crispy fried noodles for topping. Seasoned chicken wings were nice and crispy. Very plain so easy to use any type of dipping sauce you like. I used the sauce that came with eggrolls and it was tasty. Beef and broccoli meal was decently portioned and tasted good. The side of lo mein was large and i really enjoyed the sauce. It was not just grease like most places! In fact, it really wasn't greasy at all. I'd order the lo mein and just eat that! overall, we had a good experience and look forward to trying more menu items. The inside seemed nice so we may try to dine in next time!

Egg Roll

The food was great. The egg roll was great with the spicy mustard and the sweet and sour sauce. I really enjoyed the Szechuan Triple, it was perfectly spicy. Cool place to eat.

We were a party of 5. Everyone enjoyed their food. One compliment was that the pad ti was the best he ever had. The shrimp toast was a hit with everyone. The sea bass was huge. As far as service our waitress was an A+. Kate did everything over the top for us. We are a hard bunch to take care of. And the bus people were running around taking care of things. Very helpful and efficient. We will be back.

Delicious food, lively decor, and phenomenal service. Best Chinese restaurant in Cincinnati.

The service at this place was top notch, the server are very attentive to your needed, can't say the same for the food tho. For the price I thought the portion would be an lot bigger and since we ordered spicy, the food would be consider mild at best. An very disappointing experience

Ma la dumplings

Had an awesome birthday dinner last night at Oriental Wok. Our server, Brenden did a fantastic job. He knew the menu really well and we enjoyed his recommendations. For my birthday he rolled over the Buddha statue and led the singing. I was embarrassed but I appreciated his service! We started with cocktails, crab Rangoon, and ma la dumplings. Everything was fantastic but we loved the Rangoons. Best goons in the city. The beer they have a collab with Rhinegeist on is really good. The mandarin mule is also refreshing. We got a side of green beans and now I'll get those every time. Still crunchy. We split shrimp lo mein, sesame chicken, and the chengdu stir fry with chicken. Everything was super good. Prices are super reasonable, the vibe is great, service is top knotch. Love oriental wok.

Great vibes, service, and most importantly food. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to get us a table in about 15 mins. Love this spot

Really great meal. Loved it. No spice at all. Really flavorful. Great vibes. Love the fresh vegetables.

Best Chinese in Cincinnati. Really enjoyed the entire meal and had a bit of everything with a large group. Started with dumplings and lettuce wraps. LOVED the won ton soup. Enjoyed the roast duck, but the seared grouper was the best! Save room for the Chinese sesame balls dessert

Spicy Grouper (fish) with a side of fried rice.

Seriously, it's my favorite Chinese restaurant in the city. The majority of my visits are spent in the bar area for Happy Hour Tuesday - Friday from 4pm-7pm. The bar staff is awesome, and they serve theeeeeee best Lychee Martinis. In addition to the staff's awesomeness, you will also meet the friendliest patrons in the bar area. It's certainly one of those places you can go solo yet still engage in friendly conversations. As for the food, tonight I opted for the Spicy Grouper, subbing broccoli for the usual bell peppers, with a side of fried rice. O.M.Goodness!!! It is one of my new favorite dishes. If you love spicy food, this dish is for you. For my fellow Yelpers who appreciate vegetarian and pescatarian dishes, the options are plenty. Cheers!

You're also not paying an ambiance tax here - and the menu reflects it. The pork snout was really good and the bok choy was delicious too! This is an absolute gem of a spot for authentic Chinese food and I'll definitely be back.

We planned to order off of their lunch menu, and split a bowl of noodles for her birthday. Chinese tradition is to eat noodles on birthdays, so we asked the server what she recommended. She told us they actually offer complimentary birthday noodles! We were so surprised; we'd never heard of anywhere doing that before. We ordered the Twice-Cooked Pork Lunch, Fish with Chili Bean Sauce Lunch, and the Birthday Noodles. With lunch, we were allowed to select an egg roll, egg drop soup, or hot and sour soup. We both opted for the hot and sour soup. Even without the complimentary noodles, this meal was incredibly well-priced at $10.99 per lunch special. High quality dishes with plenty of meat and fresh vegetables. The noodles were simple but larger than expected, well-cooked, and delicious. My mom raved about this place. She hasn't had quality Chinese food at that price in a long time, and is telling all of our family members that we should go back when they're in town. It wasn't very busy, but we hope it was just the weather. Hopefully lots of people are supporting them! We can't wait to go back.

Wow wow wow! That was some flavorful, delicious Chinese food -- and with a fun, funky ambiance!…read more We were seated quickly at one of 2 open tables on a rainy Thursday evening. Ordered green tea, a Jade Dynasty cocktail and pot stickers to enjoy while we perused the menu (including the picture book!). The pot stickers were delicious! More like meatballs inside, served with a I-don't-know-what-this-is-but-it's-delicious sauce. We ordered and were pretty quickly delivered our mains: How Fun noodles (level 2 spice) with chicken and Pepper Beef (level 3 spice). Both were outstanding! The sauces on both were savory and delicious. The noodles were great - not slimy like they can sometimes be but firm yet delicate. The chicken was tasty. The pepper beef was tangy and tender with a nice balance of peppers and onions. Serving sizes big enough for lunch the next day. Vibrant decor made the place really feel alive and servers were friendly and efficient. We found street parking but I assume this part of Covington gets busy on weekend nights so allow a few minutes to find a spot. Bonus tip: stop at DelGardo's down the street and get a couple cannoli for dessert. Perfect end to a delicious meal!

First off, the place has a fun and playful vibe with the kung fu theme, especially when you're greeted by a Shaolin Soccer poster. The service is also A+! Extremely friendly and attentive. The portions are also generous. However......... my tastebuds are baffled. We ordered a hot and sour soup as our starter and it was extremely sweet. It was basically hot sugar soup. If we hadn't put our full order in at the same time as the app, we probably would've paid after the soup and left then. However, we did order and got the szechuan beef, general chu's sesame chicken, and the how fun noodles which we were all okay. Not memorable. I'm leaving one star because the staff and atmosphere were great. I've never been compelled to write a bad review, but I could not get past the sugary hot and sour soup. For $55, I'd really expect more flavor than just sugar and chili oil for all of the dishes.
