Delicious food (loads of options), nice, clean restaurant with friendly and knowledgeable servers!

I like this place but had not been on years. As a teenage vegetarian , this was my first experience with faux ribs-delicious! This time I opted for non-vegetarian dishes. I had the duck wings, which were actually legs. They were tasty and slightly salty worth a try though. I also tried the mocha Loco, which I enjoyed very much. I'm pretty sure the burgers were frozen patties but nonetheless, I still enjoyed the meal. I'd like to go back and try some other options as well. I also enjoyed several condiments that were available. The hostess was pleasant as well. read more

First time there so we did not know what to expect. We did not know what dim sum was and turns out it is just appetizers rolled out on a cart. It is a good way to try a little of different foods. We tried the shrimp dumplings and also shrimp egg roll, both were very good. What they consider hot or spicy sauce was mild to us. We also ordered off the menu. I got the orange beef with jasmine rice which was good but not much orange flavor but the beef was tender. My husband ordered the my cousin tso chicken with fried rice. It was crispy. The service was over the top because we didn't even have our coats off when we were being asked to pick off the cart of dim sum, drinks etc. For a while we were not sure who our waitress was as there were several at our table. lol. The place was busy. The menu is large with different options from all over Asia. We will be back to try something else. read more

We were so excited to try out pacific kitchen and order take out of bulgogi, Indonesian vegetable curry, and the wonton soup. Everything was just ok. It's interesting that they have such a wide variety of food (online menu was close to 12 pages long!), so maybe we ordered the wrong dishes..... but we wouldn't reorder anything we ate. Food was bland, serving sizes were ok for the price. The inside of the restaurant looked beautiful and service was good for takeout - that's what is propping up my rating to 3 stars. read more

Carryout order, stood at the front counter for 10 minutes before anyone started acknowledging me. Took another 10 minutes and three people asking if I'd been helped yet before someone asked why I was there. Then (with the delay) my food was not ready (20 minutes past the time it was promised). The food is good but I'm going to remember the experience before I order again. read more

Our recent dinner here was pretty good. We ordered the 5 Spice Calamari for an appetizer. It was ok. They were pretty greasy and chewy. I ordered the Malaysian Curry Chicken Laksa and my husband had the Kalbi (Korean BBQ Beef Ribs). While we both thought the food was OK - it has been better on previous visits. My dish was supposed to have spice, as indicated on the menu and having had the dish before - I know it to have some spice. It did not have even a hint of spice and was lacking in depth of flavor due to it. There was very little meat on the short ribs. Overall, it was ok this time. Not our cup of tea. We were in the area and went here for early dinner because most reviews seem positive. When we arrived, we relieved We that we came here many years ago to try dim sum. We got Cantonese chicken eggroll but it had some dark ground meat in it so big disappointment. I don't eat ground meat ... not sure if it was chicken. That's the "fun" of ground meat ... no idea what's included. Yuk. So hubby ate both. I ate the mushroom soup and it was best part of the meal. He chose Singapore noodles and said they were very dry and wasnt impressed. I got ginger scallops with vegetables and my choice of type of rice (jasmine, brown, coconut milk and veg fried). I picked coconut and hubby and i both liked it. The vegetables some were ok and some bitter. I wasn't expecting the scallops to be battered and fried. We both agreed it wasn't a place we would return. Service was fine and everything was hot and nice presentation. Perhaps it's too authentic for us. We have some Asian friends will tell about and see what they think. read more

Easy parking, though the entrance is a bit around the corner. Good size interior and very international Asian menu. We got a few starters to share--skewers were on the smaller side, but the 5 spice shrimp was very yummy. We all left full, although I wish the nasi goreng had more flavor. read more

I have been visiting The Pacific Kitchen for the last several months, and this weekend I hosted 8 friends there. And I just can't recommend this restaurant enough. It is deceptively large and beautiful inside, with the reminders of serenity, like the wall fountain. And -- yes -- the bathrooms are as beautiful as the rest of the restaurant. The service was on point -- our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable about the offerings, helpful, and willing to make substitutions to the menu. With 22 different countries represented, it was difficult to make a choice. But luckily, everything is amazing! The Beef Buldogi and the Pine Nut Chicken are my favorites, but among my group I heard kudos about the Cantonese Roast Duck (interestingly enough, it was supposed to be a half a duck but had 2 drumsticks), the Pacific Pineapple Chicken, the Steak Dolsot Bimbimbap, and the Pacific Pineapple Chicken. All of it cooked expertly, from a chef who knows each culture well. I swear, it's always like having your favorite dishes from your last 20 Asian restaurants, all in on place!! read more

I came here with metal reservations because I looked at the menu online and to be honest I would have expected just decent food. Well we had 8 in our party and I will say not only was the service excellent but the food was amazing. Not one in my group had anything but good things to say about the food. I truly cannot wait to come back again. I ordered basically a Hawaiian meal and it was so tasty. I got the beignets for dessert and they were perfect. We went early in the evening, and were surprised that there was nobody there. One of the front double doors was locked, so at first we thought they weren't open. But the other door was open. The bartender was the only server. The food was pricey, and sounded good. However, my wife had the wild mushroom steak dish and it was bland. The peppercorn mushroom sauce was just like cream of mushroom soup. Nothing pepper about it. I had the Vietnamese prawns and it was pretty good, although again a bit bland. read more

My first time eating here. I had a curry vegetarian dish that featured faux ribs which was in fact fried dough that Chinese people eat with congee (rice porridge) and that is called Youtiao (油条)--also known as Chinese fried dough sticks, crullers, or "oil sticks". The texture and taste was nowhere near those of ribs and the curry flavor was weak. So, it was to me very disappointing. read more

Went here for their weekend Dimsum. It did not disappoint but I have had better. The staff were polite and friendly, and the service was quick, a tad bit fast. Be ready to understand the available items. My favorites are the shrimp dumplings, sticky rise in lotus leaf, chicken feet, pork buns. I was not at all a fan of the sour dumplings. The pastry was thick and lacked enough soup in the dumplings. Overall a decent place to try Dimsum. read more

I want to start by saying that I was wanting to try this place since I learned about it, but I live on the other side of the state. Well on the first I had stuff to do in this area, so I stopped by and decided to try it. The food was worth it; I had veggie curry skewers which were excellent followed by Malaysian Curry Faux Ribs and the server was excellent in helping me and 2 of my vegan friends figure out what we could have. There are a lot of vegan options here which is really nice for a non-vegan restaurant. I enjoyed what I got and my 2 friends also really enjoyed their meals. We were back and this time basically planned our 3-hour one way drive around coming to Pacific Kitchen for dinner. Same great food, same great experience. We ordered the Shanghai Dumplings and the 5 Spiced Calamari for appetizers and the Wild Mushroom Tenderloin for main course. We thought about just ordering appetizers but the quality of their beef is such that we ordered that main entree. The meat was cooked to perfection and the mushrooms were a lot of fun. Go there. The food here is OK. However the service is terrible. Drinks did not get refilled, food came out cold. Waiters avoided eye contact, I tried to get their attention multiple times. Finally when I got one waitstaff member's and asked for help with refilling drinks and to talk about an ice cold appetizer the staff member said "I have other things to do". Ate here today with wife for lunch. Clean, modern place, and was almost deserted at 12:30 PM. They have a very large menu with a little bit of everything (Chinese, Korean, Thai) I had 2 eggrolls--sliced diagonally and very good with some wasabi mustard and duck sauce. Also had a bowl of lentil soup and an order of Thai lettuce wraps which I enjoyed. Wife had the teriyaki chicken for an entree and I had the Korean style chicken dotsot bibambap in a stone bowl--it was only 10 bucks for a large bowl. It came with 4 small Korean sides and some spicy red sauce to mix in if you liked. It was fantastic and I couldn't even eat it all. Just the right amount of heat to make it interesting. They also have brown rice as an option which I liked. Our server's name was Jackson--he was friendly, informative and attentive. We were in the area and stopped in. The menu is so diverse it's almost overwhelming! The special appetizers were fabulous! My husband said "best frog legs I've ever eaten" and our meals were large portions and delicious! We got the Moco Loco and the Chicken Katsu. Server was very attentive and very friendly. Apparently this place has been around for YEARS but I just heard of it when it appeared on a Facebook feed. Kind of hidden in the back in the Marketpace of Montgomery which is about 50 years old. The first thing to note about Pacific Kitchen is their big menu that features dishes from all of Asia. They have a key to indicate a dish's origin. Pacific kitchen also offers dim sum on the weekends! I really enjoy my meals here, and I like going when I crave a range of Asian cuisines at once. The portions are big. The service is also spot on, and parking is really easy (they have their own lot). read more

Food is good although menu is so large it gets confusing. Service was excellent. Glass was never empty. Their cocktails are very sweet so I will be sticking with wines but they do have a full bar. A little dark inside made the menu difficult to read but it's a great place for a larger group. I hear that dim sum is good so we will be back to ry that. Highly recommend yuca fries. Went here with a friend/previous work colleague for dinner on a Thursday night. It was moderately busy but definite not crazy. They did seem to have too few staff working but that's been the theme everywhere the last two years. We started off with edamame which was cooked perfectly and had the right amount of salt. Fair portion size and plenty to share with one other person. They also had many other appertizers that sounded delicious like the shomai. I forget what he ended up getting but he enjoyed it It came with a nice bowl of white rice. I believe he may have got general sos as it had a similar looking sauce on the chicken and broccoli. I ended up getting the chicken bibibop which was delicious. It had the usual Korean sides you could put in it along with a semi-spicy sauce. The chicken, egg, and everything was cooked perfectly. The dish had such an amazing flavor and would definitely get it again. I also had enough to bring home for lunch the next day. My only complaint is it was white rice and there wasn't the option for purple rice. One thing I would note is this place is behind a Cadillac dealership so kinda in a kook with other places as well as Go Bananas. Luckily I was using my GPS but I could have missed it. I recently went back to Pacific Kitchen after a long hiatus. I went years ago and was disappointed by unaccommodating staff who refused to substitute steamed tofu for fried in any dish. On my recent trip the wait staff was more helpful and accommodating to my request, however the service was extremely slow, the restaurant was loud and run-down looking and the prices were extremely high. I do appreciate all the vegetarian options, but I wish they offered more fresh foods that don't contained fried or oil-ridden elements. Overall, it's not my kind of place and I won't be it itching to go back. read more

We love Thai food and always love trying new spots. On our venture, what led us to this one was the fact that it was open late. It looked like it was in a cool spot and the restaurant appeared very nice upon picking up our order. Service was also super friendly and fast. We got the chicken pad thai, crab Rangoon spring rolls, and dumplings. We would give it another shot but the only thing we really loved was the dumplings. The pad thai had a very big portion and although good it felt like it was missing alot of flavor and as far as the crab rolls go I think that wasn't what we were expecting. My boyfriend's adult kid (25) loves spice, he got an 8 on pad thai, thought the spice was lower than an eight but he is a spice champ. But he was over the moon for the dish. Food was good, I ordered a Malaysian chicken curry to go. It was lacking salt but the food was good. Service was not good, they had almost no one dining and yet the receptionist was not there at all for a good 10mins. After I asked the maintenance staff she eventually arrived, gave me the food tried charging someone else's credit card! I asked for receipt and she disappeared again! I had to walk into the restaurant from the front reception to find her and ask AGAIN for the receipt and she seemed surprised! Just not good service. Ambiance was okay, I would dine in. read more

Yesterday's lunch break we stopped and had some PK. Nothing short from amazing. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and hubby ordered steak dolsot bibimbap. Both plates very delicious. Under appetizers we got the Cantonese spring rolls (very very good), they have a different taste, but loved them , and the 5 spice calamari, mouth-watering good. We definitely wanna go back and try the whole menu lol. They have carefully crafted fusion style recipes from the Pacific Rim and you can taste the love and dedication put into each bite. Yummy. We went in to order takeout since it was our first time. The lady who greeted us gave us a menu walked off came back quickly asked if we were ready to order we said no, her demeanor was slightly negative, like she wanted us to order now. She walked off and about 5 mins later we were ready. I seen the workers sitting around, her being one of them, it was pretty slow, I said excuse me a few times, the lady who greeted us seen me I said mam we are ready and she went back to eating her food. A gentlemen seen that and came and took our order. He was awesome. Understood we are foodies so he was super patient with us, we had lots of questions lol. Great restaurant inside.
