It's a good bit cleaner inside too. However, on take out orders, be prepared to wait. 4x takeout and the order has NEVER been ready even close to when promised. Tonight said 35 minutes. Approaching an hour now and no signs of being ready.... We are in Mason OH for a sporting event and my daughter was craving sushi. After a quick search on google and Yelp she found this restaurant and based on the reviews decided to check it out. It's located in a strip mall next to Kroger. It's a smallish restaurant that has six 4+ top tables and a sushi bar. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a nice woman who was also our waitress and prepared food. The menu included some basic sushi rolls, a few speciality rolls, hibachi items, rice bowls and appetizers. It's small but includes a lot of classics. We ordered two house salads, miso soup, gyoza, crab Rangoon, spicy tuna roll, tempura California roll, and Thai boba tea. (We were hungry!) We had read a few reviews that service was slow but we had the opposite experience. The food came out extremely fast! Our salads and soup arrived first and then almost everything arrived at once, hot and fresh! The restaurant only had 2 other seated tables but they had a fair amount of togo orders while we were waiting. Let's start with salad and soup - traditional hibachi type salad and soup. The salad had the dressing on the side in cute heart shaped bowl. The soup was traditional and was hot and tasty. Next up appetizers - the menu didn't indicate the gyoza was deep fried but it was very good too. Crispy on the outside and moist and filling in the middle. The crab Rangoon had been mentioned in previous reviews and I'm so glad we tried it. It's on the sweeter side but filling is very creamy with pieces of imitation crab. I'd recommend them both. Finally onto the rolls - my daughter loved her California tempura roll - packed with traditional California roll filling and perfectly fried. My spicy tuna roll was extremely delicious, a little spicy and packed with flavor. Our total was $45, but we had a really great and extremely filling meal. I'd highly recommend dining in or ordering togo. Service was excellent and our waitress was so nice. One last detail, they have wooden chairs with smiley faces cut out. read more

This tiny restaurant is located in an unassuming Kroger strip mall in the suburbs. It has no right being this good. My husband and his friend go for lunch at least once a week. The waitress recognized them instantly and was super attentive to us as well as the other diners. It kept surprising busy with a nice mix of DoorDash orders and in person diners. The chicken hibachi combo was HUGE. I couldn't finish it, but neither could my 6'1 guy friend who got the same thing. I am not a fan of seafood but they did have delicious and giant sweet potato rolls. My husband LOVES seafood and the Dynamite and Fire Spicy rolls are his favorite. i ordered takeout here and it was ready when i got there (probably about 15 minutes). it was still hot and soooo tasty!! i got the las vegas roll and it was TO DIE FOR!! it was so freaking tasty and the cream cheese melted in my mouth. 100/10. i also got the chicken teriyaki bowl and it was also very delicious. a little peppery for my taste but huge portion! i only ate about half. this place is definitely my new favorite take out spot! read more

Phenomenal food and service. They gave us free egg rolls like a steak house gives you bread. They were some of the best eggs rolls ever. Their thai tea is excellent and exactly what I expected. The chicken hibachi was reasonably priced, extremely fresh, and high quality. The noodles themselves were so good it makes me want to order a dish with just them and some chicken. I have not had sushi in a very long time and was able to enjoy it. My husband wanted to try this little place and I was apprehensive going in because the last time at a different restaurant sushi made me sick afterwards and I had not been able to enjoy it since. BUT this time was different. The restaurant was extremely clean. I ordered the Las Vegas sushi roll which was cooked and had a crunch. I highly recommend it. My husband ordered a sushi roll called Dynamite also cooked so I tried it too and also recommend it. The only thing I would not get again would be the edamame. It was ok whole bean pods boiled with salt. I normally like edamame but not fixed this way. read more

Food was fair. About what you would expect in an Asian food restaurant. Food delivery was fast. Service was good. She was efficient and polite. Ambiance is similar to a Waffle house. My partner and I used to come to the business that was in this location. We pulled up and saw the new logo and decided to go for it and I am SO glad we did. The first thing I noticed was the branded chairs with the smiley face. The decor was warm and inviting definitely made me smile Our server was awesome, had a great personality and gave us some complimentary veggie egg rolls that were yummy as a starter. I got a Thai tea which was not super sweet and quite tasty. I decided to get the rainbow roll and O.M.G. I swear I am not sure I have ever had sushi as fresh as that. I complimented him and he informed me the cut the fish fresh every morning. It was absolutely delicious. The only cons were there was no option for low sodium soy and the wasabi was not super spicy. Otherwise it was absolutely divine. For the main course I got the shrimp hibachi dinner. The sauce they cooked the shrimp in was so flavorful. The noodles and fried rice were amazing as well. I really cannot say enough about this place. Its absolutely some of the best tuna I have ever had. The hibachi chicken fried rice will be something we get every time! Tried it for the first time tonight and it was ok. We tried 7 different roles and they didn't taste as fresh or flavorful as where we usually order from(Kyoto and MEI) and some of the tempura felt a bit saturated with oil. Won't be in our normal rotation, but we wanted to try somewhere new. read more
