Great specialty sushi that is affordable with their "1/2 price deal" (which is always running?). Really love their California volcano roll and other specialty rolls. Some GF options in their regular rolls (not in specialty rolls) and plenty of cooked sushi options as well.

Aroma is one of my favorite sushi restaurants! Always quick and always good! It's a sushi staple rather dining in or carry out.

Love love love aroma! It's literally one of my go to restaurants. I haven't been in a while and they upgraded the menu on me. You now have more options you can choose from for the fried rice. I'm always going to have a version on fried rice spice level 10 and some 1/2 priced sushi.

Yummy food, service was a bit slow but the fish was very fresh. Menu has a large variety of options and rhe half off deal on sushi and sashimi is worth checking out. Would go back

When I was first introduced to Aroma, I was struck by the atmosphere. Its a bit dark inside with wear and tear on the booths and menus. But I had been recommended by a friend and the food did not disappoint. The service was a little bit slow, but our waiter was friendly and the food pricing was very reasonable. Definitely the best value sushi in the area. And they don't compromise on the taste. My only complaint was I tried some of my friends fried rolls, which tasted great, but weren't warm. And it did take a bit to get our food. Overall would recommend for any sushi lovers that dont want to break the bank.

Small Black Hair in Ginger

My waitress was super nice, the service was fast, the restaurant was nice and quiet at 3pm on a Friday. Order miso soup and a glass of wine for their happy hour 3pm-6pm. Ordered the Godzilla roll but unfortunately there was a small black hair in the ginger on the side so I asked for check and didn't eat the roll. Hygiene is super important to me so I won't be coming back.

Service was very friendly and helpful. I got the miso soup and fried green beans and we got a bunch of rolls and a teriyaki platter with shrimp (yum!). We ate the green beans so quickly and I didn't have a chance to take a photo. We loved them. All the rolls were good and made fresh - of course our eyes were bigger than our stomachs so we took home the left overs. We also got the saki strawberry to drink - we'd highly recommend. Great flavor! We'll be back! And yes, a game was on the t.v.

L - R: Yellowtail scallion, Volcano, Spider, Playgirl. Got the eel sauce as a side sauce for the first time. Game changer!

A go to on the rotation. They are consistently good but do get crowded but have always had good service. They even offer discounted sushi for carryout. I'd hit it...again.

All this and 20% tip for $15
Lilee N.

I didn't realize it was still half price off the printed menu and assumed the prices on the sushi menu were already discounted. It was a steal of a lunch! Three rolls with 20% tip $15. It was cheaper than going to Fusasian. The layout has changed a bit since COVID with seating now booth-like vs just tables. I only knocked off a star because walking in the restaurant had an unpleasant scent. If you can get past that, they seat you quickly, the servers are attentive and the food comes out fast. Sushi has good quality fish and they don't pack on the rice as you might expect.

The service we had was great. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. The ambiance is pretty dark and simple. We got several sushi rolls and veggie pad Thai. They have half priced sushi every day, which is awesome. It's not the best sushi or pad Thai I've had in town, but it's decent.

Spicy pork bulgogi (special)

One of my wife's favorite sushi spots. They have some great sushi and a lot of half price rolls for dine in. I've had several of their rolls, and am also a fan of the pad thai and their sweet chili chicken. Today I had the special, which was a Korean spicy pork bulgogi and was excellent. My wife loved her Phoenix roll and lychee martini!

Aroma Sushi has the best Sunday Morning roll in all of Cincinnati. That being said, I have very mixed feelings on this place. The interior is... fine. The seats are a little scuffed up and the music is solid. It's just not the place I'm looking for when I think of getting sushi. That being said, the prices are amazing. It's great for any 20 something or family of 5 looking for a cheap, delicious sushi spot. Just not for me.

I've been to Pho Lang several times and just realized I've never left a review. My apologies,…read morebecause this place deserves the recognition! First, the service is outstanding. The young woman with the glasses and her hair in a bun who works behind the bar clearly loves what she does. Her enthusiasm, warmth, and service make the entire industry proud. People like her are what make a restaurant experience memorable! Now, let's talk about the chicken wings. These wings deserve an award! I always order mine plain, without the sauce. I know you're probably famous for your sauces, but trust me, these wings are absolutely killer all on their own! Today, I finally tried a bowl of pho for the first time, and OH MY GOSH! Where have I been?! The flavor was incredible, and I can't believe it took me this long to try it. I live practically a few feet away from this restaurant, and honestly, I'm embarrassed that I haven't been coming here more often. Thank you for another exceptional, outstanding experience. Great food, wonderful service, and a neighborhood restaurant worth celebrating. You have a loyal neighbor who will definitely be back! With appreciation, Your neighbor, Scott Ford

Pho Lang Thang We…read morewere working nearby today and decided to look for a pho restaurant for a quick lunch. Coming from California, where we have so many great Vietnamese restaurants, it's a little difficult for me not to make comparisons. We ordered the Pho Dac Biet (Special Combination Pho) and Pho Tai Nam Bo Vien (Rare Steak, Brisket, and Beef Meatballs). Here's my personal opinion on the food. The pho was decent, as long as I didn't compare it to what I'm used to in California. The rare steak was sliced a little too thick, which made it slightly chewy. The brisket was also a bit tough and not as tender as I would have liked. One thing I really appreciated was the generous amount of green onions they added to the pho. I personally love having lots of green onions in my bowl, so that was definitely a nice touch! However, what really stood out to me was the customer service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We were busy and only had about 30 minutes for lunch, but they still made sure to check on us and make us feel well taken care of. As someone who truly appreciates small businesses, I always have a lot of respect for places that put customer service first. Food is subjective. What tastes amazing to one person may not be the same for someone else. But great customer service is something everyone can appreciate. Sometimes, it's not just the food that brings customers back -- it's the way you treat them. The restaurant itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They also serve beer and other alcoholic beverages. One thing to keep in mind is parking. Since the restaurant is located near downtown, finding a parking spot close to the entrance can be a little challenging. Overall, while the pho wasn't quite what I'm used to back in California, I genuinely appreciated the hospitality and the effort the staff put into making customers feel welcome. Good food may bring customers in, but great service is what makes them want to come back.

First things first, I walked in the door and they were playing Sade so I knew I was going to love…read moreit LOL. The vibe was really good and the food was amazing. I would definitely come here and I like the fact that it's open late so they can make sure that you eat if you've been drinking all night . The menu is really good and they have a lot of options. You can do vegetarian if you want as well so they have something for everybody . You'll park outside on the street and you'll come in. There's a bar when you first get in there where you actually can just sit down and they'll handle seating you and anything you need to drink from there . The staff was super cool and I definitely had a good time enjoying talking with them. They explained the menu very well so I wasn't going in blind. Even though they do have a spice level that I needed to decode, I started with a 7 and then went down to a 5 because I hear it was advisable to do that. I probably could have done a 7. Either way they can customize the spice for you so just keep that in mind . Hunan chicken and shrimp - I thought this was really good. Like I said above, it is a 5 for spice but it could have gone spicier. It definitely cleared out my sinuses. It was mad flavorful and super filling. They gave you a nice portion of it too, with a little side of rice, so it definitely hit the spot for sure Crab Rangoon - I thought that the crab ragout was pretty good even though it felt like it wasn't a lot of filling in there. The filling that was in there was very tasty and super flavorful. The sauce they gave was really sweet so if you want something sweet, this will be your deal. Think of a sweet chili without the kick Egg roll - egg roll was pretty good but it was a standard egg roll so nothing out of the box. The same sauce they gave with the crab was the same sauce they gave with the egg roll. It was savory and the sauce was super sweet so it balanced out Chili wontons - I thought these were really good and I could have eaten probably 15 more of them, lol. They came in a little bowl and they put the chili sauce all over it. It was sopping at the bottom so you basically get all the spice you were looking for. What I did was I poured the excess chili oil on my actual dish so I got extra kick to it. That actually helped a lot. These definitely stung a little bit but it was a good burn because it was a really good flavor to them . Shanghi noodles w chicken and shrimp - this was like a curry situation but that let me know what it was going to be like. The flavor was really great and super savory. This wasn't spicy at all and I usually prefer spice but it still had a very good and savory curry flavor to it. The dish had plenty of chicken and shrimp packed into it. Overall I thought this spot was amazing. I don't know what it was about it but it was super good and I would definitely go back, especially because I can go back for a late-night dish or I can go back before I start my night!
