I get take out from here a lot and I had a few extra Uber dollars to use up so I ordered through Ubereats. I got a lot of food cause I wanted leftovers for the next day. I got two salmon rolls, crab rangoons, gyoza, and a poke bowl of sorts. It was a lot of food, but again leftovers were crucial. The food came quick and hot. The crab rangoons were delicious and the wontons were so crispy. Their rolls are pretty good, nothing amazing but still taste great. The gyoza is always super good and it comes with a sweet sauce instead of just soy sauce which I love. They were hot and perfectly cooked. Lastly I had the poke bowl. I usually get the same thing, salmon with cucumbers and carrots or onions. I always get it cold with white rice and some variations of sauces. It is a very big portion which I always save for the next day. It is very good, the only thing I wish was different is if they cut their vegetables into smaller pieces, they are very long and hard to eat sometimes. We stopped in for dinner here yesterday evening since we were in the neighborhood for another business. It was our first time here. We thought it was OK and a decent value for the money. I did find the young lady working the orders to be unfriendly and unhelpful and could not muster a smile when spoken to or smiled at. Like having a paying job was ruining her day. I tried in vain to find out from her what the toppings were because I couldn't see them well. They weren't full - maybe from a dinner rush - and I couldn't see what was in most containers. Because of that I only ended up putting two toppings on my rice and salmon. I gave up. My husband ordered a Spicy Tuna Roll and I ordered a bowl with Grilled Salmon. We also ordered the Crab Rangoon appetizer. My husband said the Spicy Tuna Roll was pretty good. Not great quality, of course, but better than grocery store sushi. My salmon was dry and overcooked but had good flavor. The Crab Rangoon was fried properly and tasted good. We didn't detect much crab flavor or see anything other than cream cheese inside. We haven't been to a FusaBowl since the before COVID, BC, days. But tonight, we wanted something close, fast, and different. Fusabowl was the winner. Generally speaking, Fusabowl uses the old Subway or Chipotle model. You pick all the ingredients as your food is created in front of you. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, consistent. The girl at the counter was patient as we took a couple of minutes to refamiliarize ourselves with the menu. My wife had a bowl with Shrimp and veggies and I had a spicy tuna sushi roll. We each had a spring roll. The spring rolls were Fresh and tasty. My sushi was fine. Ten decent sized pieces. My wife's bowl was good, too. Basically, this was a no frills casual service sushi and rice bowl joint. Nothing bad, but nothing to rave about. read more

Gosh, with all these 5-star reviews, did we pick literally the worst day to come here? Don't know, as we have no interest in returning. I tried ordering what I thought would be a fresh and healthy poke bowl on lettuce. Wish I could have better seen the ingredients behind the glass, because I would have aborted that idea. The lettuce was iceberg and ironically swimming in water...I watched in dismay as the worker had to shake off the water, but not hard enough because plenty made it into my to-go box. Next up, some of the most disgusting avocado I have ever been served - more brown/gray than green (thankfully was not an extra charge). And then finished with weirdly cut sticks of onion and topped with "spicy" mayo that was somehow less spicy or flavorful than just pure mayo. At least the salmon wasn't as terrible as everything else and didn't give me any digestive issues like I feared it would, but did not warrant a return visit either. The salmon ended up being the only thing I ate from this "bowl". Service was ok, but a little slow. We received a free $10 gift card for our next visit, but even that won't have us returning (my wife's teriyaki chicken was underwhelming too). I was very excited to hear Fusabowl opening in Norwood (next to Kroger). Finally a semi healthy fast food restaurant in the area and I don't have to drive to Oakley for sushi. The concept is quite like Chipotle. They have a huge selection on their menu. Sushi (specialty, build your own, have it served regular or fried), Poke Bowls, Fusa Bowls, sides, and more! At the time we went, they had a dine in special if you order over $20.00, you get a free egg roll or crab Rangoon. We opted for take out. I got the Philadelphia Roll (avocado, salmon and cream cheese) and requested spicy mayo on top. You get 10 pieces. I also got a side of Chicken Gyoza. My Mr got the steak Bowl which comes with rice and whatever toppings he wanted. We spent $25.00 but the portions are huge. We got home and enjoyed every bit of it. My Gyoza was delish and loved the sauce that came with it. My sushi was fresh and had great flavor. My Mr. was very pleased with his meal. He really liked the teriyaki sauce they mixed in. He said it wasn't as sweet which he loved. I can definitely see it s going back for more. They have so much to offer and all at reasonable price. Plus they are fast. My lady was excited to go here when it opened up and I was pretty stoked to go too. Finally, a heathier fast food restaurant option practically within walking distance for us. Fusabowl is essentially an Oriental style spin on Chipotle or Subway in that you can create your own dish fast and for a great price. You can get a hibachi bowl, poke bowl, or even create your own sushi, and there are plenty of options to choose from. Not sure what to create? They have menu options already created and ready to go. Plus you can order online, skip the line, and get 10% off. My lady and I decided to get some goodies to go on a Friday evening. She opted for a Philadelphia topped with spicy mayo and an order of chicken gyoza. I opted for a steak hibachi bowl with broccoli, mushrooms, and onions on brown rice with teriyaki sauce. The portions were pretty big for the price and we felt we definitely got our money's worth. Even better, it was all VERY delicious! Before we finished our food, we were already talking about going again. I might get a poke bowl next time. Food was edible but the preparation was nothing shy of sloppy. I put in an order for DoorDash at about 9:20. The sushi? Fine. The quality of the food? Fine. My main order? Completely wrong. I ordered a bowl with steak, chicken, teriyaki sauce and white rice. Instead I got all of that and cream cheese, avocado, overcooked cheese or something similar in substance and a GENEROUS lathering of sauce. The shrimp tempura roll was delicious but it actually gave me food poisoning. THANKS SO MUCH FUSHA now i have to miss work and other plans. We are Vegans- This was an accidental find, we were hungry and there was nothing around. We stopped a near by Kroger and my daughter spotted this place. We go in and to our surprise they had hibachi bowls,Poke bowls , sushi , and sushi rolls. We all opted for hibachi bowls with tofu and I must say my taste buds went wild the tofu tasted just like beef broccoli There was a young lady that made our visit on 7/22/2022 @800pm worth it !! I am really shocked at all the 5 star reviews and am sorry to break the streak but my experience was anything but a 5 star. This might have been a bad day for them, but all goes to show consistency matters and this happened to be my first experience with Fusabowl. What brought me in were the good reviews and pictures, so I was very excited as I love these kinds of places. Service was anything but welcoming, just doing a job and would rather be somewhere else kind of attitude. I went with a chicken teriyaki bowl and was about to add some veggies and hesitated, as nothing looked fresh, avocados were precut and brown mush sitting in a wet saranwraped tin, lettuce was wilted and soggy looking. The side containers were a mess with what looked like neighboring food had fallen in and out of other containers. ( I know this happens no big deal, but this was a mess.) It all looked so unappetizing. After realizing I was just standing there and staring a bit too long when asked about what else, I hesitated and just asked for cucumber, can't go wrong with cucumber. While waiting for my order I was contemplating whether this was a good idea and I should have left when I had the chance, but there were other people sitting and eating and others waiting for their orders so I felt reassured. My bowl was just nothing I would come back for, small flavorless cubes of chicken on top of mushy rice and sauce that had the consistency of water, not to mention cucumbers that could have been mistaken for limp noodles. Yup just not a fan. Maybe other locations have it together and are way better but I'm not looking to find out anytime soon after this experience. Truly disappointed. read more

Buyer beware! My friend ordered a grilled chicken bowl, which she was happy with. I ordered the dragon roll with tempura shrimp as I did not want raw shrimp. Authentic sushi restaurants serve raw shrimp.The dragon roll was not listed as a fried roll on the menu, but it came fried. Who fries avocado? It was inedible. When I called the next day to explain the problem, the employee who answered the phone argued with me and hung up. When I called back the owner answered. He not only refused to reimburse for the cost of the dragon roll, he kept me on the phone for over ten minutes trying to explain that I had ordered incorrectly. He did offer to reimburse me for the greasy, tasteless spring roll. Fusabowl has lost a customer. A loyal customer is worth many times more than the cost of a sushi roll. read more

Love Fusabowl! Always a good place to eat, food is fresh, and it is a quick place go grab some food. I will say though, this location has some issues. Several employees didn't know how to operate the register/iPad, and it made for a rough check out process. They were trying to fix it, but couldn't get it to work. Took 30 minutes as we had to wait on another person to arrive at the restaurant who knew how to fix the issues. Hopefully, next time would be a better experience. read more

Great addition to the Surrey Square dining options! Just opened a few weeks ago and I've already eaten there several times. It's very much like a Japanese version of Chipotle in that you pick your base (bowl or sushi) and choose the ingredients you want. They have designed menu bowls and rolls, but I enjoy customizing myself for full control of what I'm eating. My go to is the chicken bowl with brown rice, mushroom, onion, carrot, broccoli, avocado, jalapeño, ginger, wasabi, sesame seeds, and yum yum sauce on the side. Sometimes I add shrimp or steak. The chicken bowl is like 9 bucks though and it's filling and it's like 3 bucks to add a second protein. The sushi is pretty good too. Its not the best I've had, but it does the trick. They have a lot of drink options as well. The online ordering system is easy and the staff is super nice and helpful. Talk about a wonderful addition to an area that struggles with good places to eat. I'll be back often for sure! read more
