Just years ago during Covid, this was our go place for Sushi. My Mr would get the Citrus Salmon to go almost every other weekend. It was my favorite and go to to all the time when craving for Sushi. Just recently, I wanted to dine in and revisit. I wanted to experience the restaurant itself and the food. I wasn't disappointed at all. It was everything we asked for. My Mr. and I dined in for lunch and got: Tozai Living Jewel sake Citrus salmon roll Rainbow roll Philadelphia roll w/ spicy mayo Everything was perfect and it enjoyed every bit of it. Woah, First time eating here.. was recommended by a friend. Let's be honest, service wise? We walked in to a 10 minute wait time. Alright, No problem. Problem One. My group had to stand in front of the bathroom, or right in front of the door, or register. To stay out of people's way, We stand in front of the bathroom doors. Got it. Problem Two. Everyone has bad days...but when I am standing in front of the bathrooms waiting for my table, I don't want to hear a server cursing and swearing at a guest in front of his family and friends, in front of the whole restaurant. Then after the guest leaves, The server comes back out on the floor and complains to other employees about said guest... The Restaurant itself.. Was Okay. It's very dark but decorations were fine at best. (Besides the dying cactus on fireplace, could not get pictured from my table.) The restaurant is also extremely loud with just the small size, kitchen being heard, and also some weird background noise.. the whole time you're eating. Alright, last but not least. The food. Uhm.. It wasn't not good. There was no flavor. I ordered the Spicy Octopus roll, Eel, and squid nigiri. These are my favorites.. normally. Not here. Warm in the cold spots, Cold is the warm spots.. confused on why my rice is scolding hot on one piece, but freezing cold on my other? It's okay. I don't want to stay it was nasty, cause it was not nasty. It did not have, any flavor at all. Oh, Last but not least my server messed up my drink. Normally I don't complain about this. It happens, accidents happen. My problem here comes in when I try to explain to my server, she just walked away and brought me the same mistake again. I didn't even bother, it's just a drink. Had decent reviews and prices looked reasonable so we went here for dinner. The staff were nice, but the vibe was a bit somber for a Saturday. Anywho it looks like this establishment is owned by a Korean owner...? I'm only assuming so because the menu has Korean items such as Korean style ramen, Seoul chicken wings, etc. Interesting! Moving on... We ordered the following.. - Eel roll, this was pretty good, but fairly standard.. hard to mess this up ya know? - Double red roll, this tasted okay, nothing too special. They put a ton of masago on this roll. I think the Sriracha over took the other flavors. - Red roll, my husband wasn't a huge fan of this, the shrimp tempura was teeny tiny and the imitation crab was overwhelming. - Seoul chicken wings, this was probably the best thing we ate. The wings were crunchy and the sauce had good flavor. Overall, this establishment is just okay. I would come back here to try the other rolls since the menu has a lot of options. I have been driving past this place for years and can't believe it took me so long to get here. It easily located in Anderson Town Center and parking is abundant all around. You walk in and it looks a bit small but as you walk past the counter, the restaurant opens up into multiple tables. My friends and I enjoyed multiple rolls which unfortunately I did a terrible job of documenting. But they were all pretty excellent. They were big and dense and we definitely got our money's worth. The only reason I had to score down was because service was not the best. It really wasn't that busy but it took a long time to get water and overall they just didn't really seem to care that much. There was multiple wait staff and a lot of them were just standing around talking with each other. Just a little bit frustrating in my opinion. But the food was good and when you find a good sushi place in the Midwest, you got to keep returning. read more

I'm not sure why but my kids have loved this place since they were much younger. I think it's that mom gets sushi and they fill up on ramen noodles. My son is almost 20, he still orders the noodles but expects to mooch my sushi. I'm going to have to start ordering more. The sushi was reasonably priced. They serve beer and wine and the TVs are everywhere. We could watch the Red's game and a tennis match - nice! Ramen is hot so take your time. Get more sushi and look around....the staff is close enough to provide good service without hovering. I'm a fan and they make you feel special. We will be back! I'm impressed! I'd rank this as my second choice for oriental/sushi. They offer other menu items as well. My daughter and I stopped in for dinner. We started off with edamame because that's my daughters favorite. We both ordered two different salads; Crab salad, and calamari salad which was my favorite of the two. Also had their udon soup which was so fabulous! We then shared a spicy crab roll and spicy salmon roll. Both rolls didn't impress me much. One of them, forgive me for not remembering which one, had the taste of as if it's been sitting in a refrigerator. Not sure why that was. Now I do want to applaud SushiNati on presentation. I ordered lunch from Sushinati through Doordash. I was pleased with how well everything was packaged and looked upon delivery. I got the California Roll and the Drunken Taco roll. The drunken taco seemed unique from some of the other sushi places and I'm glad I got it. It was delicious! I also love that they do not shy on the amount of spicy Mayo or sauces in the rolls. I hate dry sushi and love sauces! Both rolls were fresh and delicious for lunch. 2 rolls was more than enough and they are reasonably priced. I'm glad to have discovered another sushi place to go to. Never been before but I thought I'd give it a shot for some carryout. Overall, we really enjoyed it, and I could see us ordering from here again. The place itself is a bit small but has a good amount of seating, even with the current 6 foot distancing. There's some outdoor seating as well. Their menu has quite a lot of options from rolls to nigiri as well as Korean-style stone bowls and noodle dishes. After browsing the menu for a bit, I decided on three rolls; the hot mama, the citrus salmon, and the drunken taco (my lady was especially curious about this one). It didn't take too long before they were done, about 15 minutes, and they were all priced very nicely. How were they? All three were tasty, but both my lady and I agreed that the citrus salmon roll was the top winner. Good sushi, great prices, and quick, friendly service. Berf. Went here for take-out tonight. Went in, ordered to-go. Quoted 10-15 minutes. Told them I was going to Kroger in the mean time. Ordered the Seoul Wings and a Dragon Roll. I went to Kroger, did my thing, came back, still had to wait 15-20, probably more for my order. By time my Roll was ready, wings were pretty cold. Everyone has an off night, I'm not writing them off, but 35+ min for a couple of orders seems iffy. Poor customer service. No manager on-site - who runs a restaurant with no one in charge? I love Bibimbap. My favorite was from Suzie Wongs which has sadly closed. They knew my order when I walked in the room and customer service was always on point. A friend kept encouraging me to go to Sushinati. They brought out the dish with the silverware inside the stone bowl. I took my fork out to continue eating my appetizer. The fork was so hot it literally seared both my lips and tongue! It was so hot I might as well have put my who mouth on the stone bowl. My mouth was swollen for 2 days and you could clearly see the imprint of the fork burn start to heal on the inside of my lower lip. Despite my initial shock, disbelief and anger, I kept my cool! The waiter was extremely aloof and disinterested in my pain. Didn't offer to comp my meal and I didn't ask. Later I handed her my card for the bill and $20 for the tip and she said she would return with my change. She never did. So I asked where my change was when she brought our to go boxes. She said " I'm confused" and had this stupid look on her face... "you paid with cash." I said "no I didn't." I gave you my card for the bill and $20 for the tip and you volunteered to bring my change. Stupid look persists so I asked for the entire $20 back. Im not for the BS WTF!!!??? Asked for manager. Really enjoyed their sushi and their kimchi is made in-house and the best I have had in a long time! I like the variety of their menu, ordering online was quick and easy and staff was very professional when picking up. My meal included all items ordered, no sides forgotten, in addition a silverware pack, chopsticks, soy sauce packets & napkins all added without asking. Finally! A quality sushi restaurant in Anderson! Do you know how long I've been waiting for this? The space that houses SushiNati has been a donut place, a pizzeria, and most notably, a Caribou Coffee. SushiNati's use of the space makes it feel smaller than it actually is but I don't mind. They have a small sushi bar where I can dine alone if I need a quick lunch as well as 15 or so tables if I come in with some friends. Everything I've eaten here I've enjoyed. I always order salmon sashimi because it's my #1 all time favorite food. It's very fresh and comes on a bed of daikon that I happily dunk into my soy sauce. Their rolls are delicious as well. I'm not typically a roll eater but I will indulge in an Alaskan roll every now and then. Last night my sister had their crunchy roll and said it's one of the best renditions she's had. I order a lot more hot food here than I do at any other sushi restaurant in the city. Both my friend and my sister have ordered the bibimbap on separate occasions; my friend swears by it but my sister said it was lacking in flavor. The last time I was here I also had fried dumplings and chicken wings and both were delicious. I really enjoy the sesame ginger dressing they put with salads. I'm going to try the bibimbap on my next visit and if my opinion veers toward my sister's instead of my friend's, I know I can douse everything in that dressing and be okay! Prices are fair. It's not cheap but it's not expensive. I can get a well priced lunch/dinner for under $20 unless I get too excited and order a boatload of sashimi. (It adds up, man.) New in the area and saw this was my closest sushi establishment! I ordered carry out and got 2 rolls. One cooked and one raw. Then I also order their dumpling soup. Service was okay! No problem picking up my order and walking out the door. Order was done on time. Once I got home (5 min drive), I pulled out my food and everything looked good! I took 1 bite out of my non-cooked sushi and immediately spit it out. It tasted old and had a awful smell. The cooked one was a little bit better but couldn't finish it. The service here is really great! Amanda is awesome and takes good care of the table. She keeps the waters full and brings out the food as it's hot and fresh. She's very attentive and not overbearing. The food is very well prepared with generous portions. The sushi is excellent! The stone bowls are hot and get better the more you stir them up lol we came here with the family and everybody enjoyed what they got.
