Samurai Rolls in the center, vegetarian options on the corners

This was some of the best sushi I've ever had, I stopped in last night and the server was so helpful and nice to us which made it entirely better! I've had sushi at other places but this one has topped them all! (I got the samurai rolls!)

I've heard really good things about this place so we made our way to check it out and it was the best decision! The place is small but the set up makes it fell spacious and private. The atmosphere is comfortable and not just that but the service is above and beyond. I can honestly say that our waitress provided the best most friendliest service ever. She was sweet, welcoming and attentive. Moreover, the food was delicious! We had 5 rolls altogether. My personal favorite was the green river roll, it's a must try. We also had the fancy roll, the red dragon, the tempura shrimp roll, and the spicy tiger roll. All were flavorful and fresh. Also, they have a half price menu, and a regular menu so that's always a plus! Will for sure be back, this is a must try place!

If you get ANYTHING here, you have to get the homemade ginger dressing. It is SO good, I even asked for a side with my sushi. The waitress was polite and informative. She didn't ask for my order too many times, which was nice. The sushi (I got two different tuna rolls) was tasty and had a great amount of fish compared to rice and other fillings. I also had a little carafe of their hot sake, which tasted like your run-of-the-mill hot sake. Since I'll be back in town for business, I'll be back here when I have a sushi craving.

This is a cute place but my honest review is the sushi is just decent. The wait staff is awesome with great service but that doesn't overcome the bland rolls the Saki was good

Sunday Roll, Volcano Roll, Rangoon Roll, Crazy Roll

Normally I don't attempt to eat sushi in the suburbs, but we took a risk and it didn't disappoint. The menu at Sushi Samurais is packed and categorized perfectly to find sushi for anyone. The serving staff was very knowledgeable about their offerings and provided well-received suggestions. The sushi we ordered was deliciously crafted with yummy additions to classic favorites. The physical location itself was a little on the small end of the spectrum and felt cramped next to other present parties. I also found myself hyper aware of the occasional house fly zooming around bc the entrance is a single doorway compared to a double set to prevent insects and weather. Besides these personal observations, I would say our experience was delightful and I will come back to this location or even ordered takeout from them in the future.

Ocean Crab Roll, Hawaiian Roll, Tuna Lava Roll

My sister and I were around the corner at Top Golf and were craving sushi! I checked out Yelp recs and stumbled upon Sushi Samurais and I'm so glad I did! It was delicious! We shared the ocean crab roll, Hawaiian roll & tuna lava roll. Great added touch of real chopsticks instead of disposables. Delicious!

Average order at the counter take-out style sushi spot. My fish was fine, got a couple of basic rolls- tuna and philly. Didn't particularly like my side of shrimp fried rice. Friends I was with were pretty disappointed. One good thing- liked that they served the table wasabi and ginger in a giant crock!

Came here for a birthday, we had 11 people in our party. I believe we had a reservation, but not…read more100%, either way we were seated right away as we arrived. The girl in the front was friendly and welcomed us. The decor inside is nice, may be a bit older, but I think that is what gives it some charm. They have a couple tea rooms, which is nice, also a sushi bar, a large regular bar and then of course their hibachi grills which is the main event. Did not try sushi, so cannot give an opinion on that. But I did enjoy the food very much, it is on the more expensive side per person, but you know what you are getting here, it is the atmosphere, the show and the food all together to get the full experience for the price. I myself chose the filet mignon with scallops. Filet medium rare, it was cooked just the way I liked it, it was tender and flavorful and not over done. Scallops also were on point, the chef did a good job. I think he may have been newer as he did not do some of the tricks I am used to in a place like this. But he did a good job and was friendly. Our server was friendly, the only complaint is when we went to pay, he said we could not do individual payments and we had to do it in blocks of 4, which did not work for us. We asked to speak to the Manager and then we suddenly all had our bills split properly how we needed since we were a mixed group, so I thank them for doing that. We brought a cake as well and we were able to cut it up at the table and enjoy it there as well, so I cannot give them anything but 5 stars. Friendly, good food, entertainment and accommodating to our requests. Good experience all around. Enjoy!

I like the "vent" on the table when they cook so that the smells don't become overpowering. Jess, our server, was very nice and attentive. Our chef was entertaining.

They have a big menu but I wanted to try their Pad Thai with Chicken ($11.38). Beef or shrimp cost a little more. The place had one waitress and she was very efficient. There were only 8 others in the place so service was quick. Considering the amount of food I was served and the price, I would say it was a very good value. Limited beer and wine selection plus soft drinks. Free parking in the mall lot. I ordered a 4 out of 5 spiciness and it came out more like a 2 but that was their only fault. I will be going back to try some other dishes.

Never lets me down…read more... I've been here several times. And, as a creature of habit, I can give certain restaurants great, yet boring, reviews. Udon Thai and Sushi is one of those places. I am, by fault, a go with what you know patron. If I go to a restaurant, find something that I like, I never need the menu again. Many have labeled me as boring because of this, but it's just how I'm wired. See, I label restaurants as "this place" or "that place". Example - Udon is my "spicy beef basil" place. The first time I came in, I ordered the Beef Basil dish, it was perfect and I never needed the menu again. What is the Beef Basil dish? Great question, nobody. Let me explain. First off, it's called something else on the menu. And, since I don't know what that is, we'll call it.... "Beef Basil". It's a vegetable and beef stir fry dish, seasoned with basil and other spices. They ask you for a spice level of mild, medium or hot. I'm a medium-hot to hot guy. I always say this and they always get it right. It is served with white rice. Wandering away from the entree menu, I have tried both their fried Chicken Gyoza's as well as their Crab Rangoon. Both I have enjoyed very much. Would I go back? Well, every time I want Beef Basil, yes, I do go back and will continue to do so. The service has always been spectacular. It's kept to a minimum as there aren't a lot of tables. You'll notice quite a few delivery pick-ups during your meal, so they do stay quite busy. But the servers at Udon have always gone above and beyond to make sure you have a very nice dinner. Udon is one of those places that doesn't rely on flashy fancy distractions. It's clean, nice and simple. Their foundation of great service and great food really is what keeps me coming back. I know what I'm going to get every time and I always enjoy myself. I'm not "Frankie Five-star". I don't give that fifth star out easily. Udon gets that 5 star because they focus on making the customer happy without a bunch of distractions or fluff. Three people with entrees, a couple of appetizers and soft drinks comes to about $75, before tip. It's not the cheapest place around but not the most expensive either. It's good. So treat yourself to some goodness.
