I have eaten here I would say about 20 times over the course of a year and I have had a positive and consistent experience every time. Pretty quick, friendly staff and delicious food. Started ordering bowls and now I am currently obsessed with the American Dream roll. Yum!

New obsession!! Sad I don't live closer to this amazing spot-- though it's probably best for my wallet. Haha. I grabbed a poke bowl with my brother and sister the other night and was so impressed with the quality, flavor, and freshness of the ingredients! I got plain tuna and salmon and a plethora of toppings. The portion was great for the money! My brother and sister split a bowl and got delicious boba and fruit teas. I'm already trying to think of a reason to be in that part of town again soon to get another bowl. You can order at the kiosk or counter. They also have ramen and a whole bunch of other options, that I bet are also delicious! The restaurant was clean and decorated very cute. Large parking lot.

Never been to Poke 96 before. Will for sure be stopping back in. It was really busy and smelled great during lunch time today. The bowl is a great deal. $13 for a build your own poke bowl (2 proteins) and it is a large portion. All tasted very fresh.

I wish I could give this place a higher rating. The self-ordering kiosks are great. I like being able to take my time going through the menu and ordering. I got a 2 protein poke bowl, and the portion size was solid. They're generous with the sauce, which I appreciate, though I ended up with too much and couldn't taste anything other than spicy mayo. The biggest issue was the fish. The spicy tuna was okay, but the salmon tasted off and not fresh. I also got pickled ginger, which had a strong chemical taste, almost like lemon cleaning supplies. It completely ruined the bowl for me. On the plus side, service was fast, and the complimentary miso soup was a nice surprise. I really don't like that they use styrofoam containers knowing how harmful it is to the environment. Overall, I wanted to like this place more, but the fish quality and strange-tasting ginger were really disappointing.

Omg, this is such a cool fast casual restaurant! It's located in a strip mall. When you first enter there are several computer screens to order, a counter for pickup, open kitchen, and large dining area with tables. The menu includes build your own poke bowls, ramen, sushi rolls, appetizers, fried rice, kids menu and more! I eagerly ordered a make your own poke bowl. You can pick two proteins, base (rice or salad), toppings (I selected 8+), and sauces. A truly customized experience! My daughter ordered a sushi roll and shrimp fried rice. We grabbed a table and waited until our name and number was called. It only took about 10 minutes. Everything was exactly as we ordered it. The food was fresh and delicious! The poke bowl was full of great toppings and fresh seafood, the fried rice was fresh and light and delicious, and my daughter devoured the California roll that was stuffed with fresh avocado. We don't live here but can't wait to try it again before we head out of town!

We stopped by here after his 5K run, and he was absolutely famished. I couldn't have been happier because poke is my favorite food--I could probably eat it every day and never get tired of it! We arrived in the late afternoon, and there were no other customers, which was perfect for a quick and quiet bite. Ordering was easy and efficient; you place your order on self-service screens right by the counter, and as soon as you finish paying, the team gets to work preparing it. The space itself is clean and inviting, with plenty of seating for groups or solo diners. Once they received our order, the wait time was minimal, and all the ingredients looked super fresh. There's something for everyone here: I love my poke raw, but they also offer cooked protein options for those who prefer it. I opted for my standard poke bowl of half salad half sushi rice with salmon and tuna, and for the sauce I chose umami soy-based sauce mix with spicy-creamy sauce, and I usually go batshit crazy with the max number of toppings I can fit in my bowl for the extra juiciness and crunch: typically edamame, corn, cucumber, jalapeno, mango, orange, pineapple, seaweed salad and spicy crab salad (if available) paired with tempura crunch and furikake or sesame seeds or chopped nori. I enjoyed my salmon bites immensely, though I did find the (ground) spicy tuna a bit on the fishy side. The portion is filling, and to be honest I've never had a poke bowl I didn't lick off to the last drop. Overall, it's tough to go wrong with a poke bowl, just pick your favorite toppings and sauces, and it's sure to come together deliciously. A solid spot for a poke fix!

Always great food and service. Nice big portions and a decent price. Favorite roll is Naruto.

I am not an expert in Roman. This is the third restaurant that I've been to and the most disappointed. The restaurant in itself is mostly clean and the ambience is nice. However, this is cafeteria style. You have to place your order with a computer and then they call your name and number out to pick up your food. They also ask for a tip while you're placing your order. I would not recommend because there's really "no service".I had the miso soup with pork and it was all Ramen noodle barely had any flavor at all. I feel that is way overpriced for what it is. Most likely will not be back.

I've been looking for a good poke place in Ohio, which has been rather hard since there's not really good fish in the area. I am so glad I tried Poke 96 because the fish is fresh and they give you a lot of stuff in your bowl for what you pay for! I have driven out of my way for this poke place because it is just that good. I like that you order/pay at the kiosk and then wait for your order. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my order. I usually get my order to go, but they do have a spacious seating area. I already can't wait for my next time back.

Stopped in for a bubble tea, went with Thai tea with classic boba. Next time will have to check out the poke bowls, sushi rolls and fun sides!

I was excited to try this place after seeing the positive reviews and reasonably priced lunch specials. I ordered a 2 roll lunch special with spicy salmon and spicy tuna. Unfortunately, the rolls were "all filler, no thriller." About 75% of the roll was just breading / tempura flakes with a tiny speck of fish. I'll give two stars because I acknowledge that it was at least pretty inexpensive, and perhaps their bowls are better. But I won't be getting the rolls again. Service was fine.

    Got a lot of toppings!

Camera did not eat first for me. Poke 96 has a variety of options on their menu, I went with building my own bowl. The lady working the front was very helpful with explaining the sauces and drinks to me while I was ordering on the kiosk. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating but I did carry out which was made fairly quickly. I got a 2 protein bowl which I was surprised how some of the specific toppings didn't cost extra here. Food was delicious and their spicy poke sauce is very similar to teriyaki sauce as the worker explained to me. I got a rainbow fruit boba which was very refreshing to have. For the whole purchase, it is definitely cheaper then many other poke places I've been to. I will say that I ordered the tomato toppings but ended up getting tamago. Still tasted delicious. Will definitely try again.

I wasn't as surprised this time by the location in a neighborhood, something that gives it a very welcome feel and suggests with the addition of a covered outdoor porch with picnic tables that this is a good neighborhood hang. I was late for lunch, almost two but there were some folks still finishing up. Good vibe, good music and casual atmosphere. I opted for the Takoyaki app which was tasty and not so burning hot that it scorched the roof of your mouth. Also the right amount of mayonnaise as opposed to often an excess. The Ramen Flight was fun in principle but I wouldn't do it again. I unwisely and perhaps naively assumed there would be mini versions of the full serving of Tonkotsu broth with Mayo, Thai curry and Szechuan with scallions. But it really is just the broth and ramen. Expected the Szechuan to have some heat and peppery lip buzz but did not. The Thai curry was super salty. Just missed some option of veggies and protein. Finally I would suggest not sitting near the front near the stairs to the kitchen. The spot has competing music soundtracks with two different play lists battling between your two ears.

All seats at the bar were open, but we hoped to sit at a regular (not high-top) table. As it turned out there were a few options in the back. That said, it wasn't long before the place was packed. Our server Tyra was fantastic. Down to earth and helpful with recommendations. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. We started with Jumbo Ebi Shumai. Tyra asked if we wanted a fourth (the dish comes with three) so we wouldn't have to rock-paper-scissors for the third dumpling. I thought they were delicious. I loved the spicy mustard that came with them. I admit they had a slight fishy flavor. I mean it was shrimp and I enjoyed it. Mark is less of a fish fan in general. The dumplings didn't really hit the mark for him. If you like seafood and you like shrimp you should enjoy the Shumai. I opted for Tonkatsu Ramen - Ramen and thick creamy pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, ginger and green onion. I added black garlic oil and did not go spicy at all. I thought it was very good and I ate literally every drop. Mark had Spicy Miso Ramen - Ramen and spicy creamy soybean paste pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, and green onion. He said it was spicy, which was perfect for him. He also enjoyed his meal and finished every drop. We still had time to kill before the show so we opted for dessert. There were two options - Green Tea or Red Bean Ice Creams. Tyra recommended Red Bean and I'm glad she did. It was sweet with just the slightest crunch from the beans. It was a good size serving, hand dipped by Tyra. The proximity of Zundo to Memorial Hall or Music Hall makes it the perfect pre-show stop for dinner. We will definitely be back.
