I feel bad for the 2 star. The staff was amazing and it was a cute little place. Well decorated and really clean. Parking can be a challenge since this is in a strip with other businesses. The food, blahhh I hate this part on a bad review. The teriyaki sauce that the drench everything in is terrible. Really salty, sweet, amd a black licorice taste. The ramen was ok but not food enough for us to return.

Will definitely go back. The food was very delicious and had plenty of flavor. The service was very helpful quick and prompt. The decor is starting to get a little dated.

It's been a while since I've had Ramen, so my friend and I decided to have dinner here last night. I ordered the Miso Ramen, it had really great flavor, was served quickly, and was exceptionally hot! My friend ordered the same and seemed to enjoy it as well.

I really enjoy this place! You can tell by the quality compared to other ramen places. I especially love their grilled chicken. It's not dry or bland by any means. I also really enjoy their potato croquette. The crust is slightly bulkier than other croquettes which gives it a nice bite. The location is excellent as well, with Whole Foods and plenty of other shops being so close by. I really hope to try their curry one of these days but the Nagoya with extra noodles gets me right each time. I have brought guests out here too and they really enjoy it.

I love this place! I can't go here without getting the Spicy Garlic Edamame! It's my favorite thing on the menu. I've had almost all of the Ramens they offer and have not been disappointed yet.

Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen

I had the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen and it was amazing. The broth was very flavorful and I enjoyed every bite! My friends who went with me enjoyed it just as much.

I mean do I even need to type words. Two layers of the crispiest chicken with sticky rice and addicting sauce to go with it. I'm sure they have much more to order but I've had the ramen and then and both are great.

We stop at this ramen place everytime we are making our way to Louisville. Their ramen really soothes and warms the soul, my family and I have tried the regular and spicy tonkotsu, shoyu and nagoya ramen. Personally i like the classic spicy tonkotsu it has a tiny bit of kick. Enjoyed the curry or katsu don which came with a huge bowl of rice plus the katsu on the side fried nicely. All the fried appetizer have been pretty good too nothing is overly heavy or greasy. The croquette, fried oysters and chicken karaage are my favs! The soft shell crab was yums as well. This place is very small so put your name down and be ready to wait probably.

Great value for the money. The restaurant isn't big but they've done well with the layout. The service was excellent and friendly and the food came out quickly. The ramen is fantastic! We also had the seaweed salad and the spicy garlic edamame. I think I'd go with the regular edamame next time. The spicy edamame was good but a bit messy.

I'm from LA and the Vegetarian Spicy Miso Ramen is the best I have had in the mid-west. The broth is flavorful and super balanced, the toppings were all really good, and the service was great! I could have done with a bit more spice in the broth, but I love spice and will just have to ask if they have chili oil next time I'm there. Really well priced too. The waiter did a great job with recommendations and was even nice enough to let me and my friend bring in our boba from next door!

I had been wanting to try this location for a while, but they close midday, so it took me a bit to time it right. I was able to order ahead online and time it for half an hour before they closed. They do say allow 25mins or so for your meal to be ready no matter how you order. They do not offer pay online, so you still have to pay at the register, but at least your order is ready to go! The lady inside was friendly. I got the Shogo ramen and added corn and bean sprouts. I wish I had tried the broth before pouring it over the ramen because it was so over the top salty that once I added it, the dish was inedible because the ramen soaked it up quick. The shrimp and veggies were cooked perfectly and were good. I honestly ate the fish, veggie, and egg off the top and had to toss the rest. I hate wasting food and I hate wasting money and sadly both happened here.

Getting over a cold so in look for soup. Tried this for first time. It was really good but I think it over priced. Ramen is the cheapest thing ever and the meat they use wasnt great quality... we both picked it out. It's small..not much seating and no way the tables werec5 feet apart so not really keeping up with covid restrictions. We started with fried oysters and they were delicious. Also seemed pricey for amount and size. I got the original ramen he got the nagoya. We both liked his broth better but both thought the meat was fatty and gross. It was filling but ramen doesnt stick with you ... so in a few hours we were looking for a snack. Would try again.

Chicken Katsu. She said it was very good.

We really enjoyed this place, the food, and the service. The lady that served us was very nice and tentative. Also, although she gave us an appertizer we didn't order she took it off the bill while letting us keep the appertizer and still bringing out the one we order. We started with the octopus balls and shomai. We were also accidently given this potatoe like thing. The shomai was very good, the potatoe thing was crunchy but basically just a hashbrown but still tasty, and I didn't care for the octopus ball things but my girlfriend really liked them. As far as main dishes I got the spicy tonkotso ramen (I believe anyways) and added an extra egg. It was very good and filling. Had some to take home for a snack the next day. She ended up getting the chicken katsu rice bowl and really enjoyed it. She said it was nicely crispy and one of the best (if not the best) she's had. She also had enough for a bit of leftovers. Overall a great experience from both a food and service standpoint. Will be back.

Better than ramen I've had in San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago or Dallas. The chili oil or sashuan oil is not as hot as I thought. Easy to eat, even if you can't tolerate much spice. Staff was super amazing. Shout out to the guy behind the bar. Rockin' beard and rockin' attitude. Easy 30-minute drive from Beaver Creek, Wright-Pat area, but so worth it.

I wasn't as surprised this time by the location in a neighborhood, something that gives it a very welcome feel and suggests with the addition of a covered outdoor porch with picnic tables that this is a good neighborhood hang. I was late for lunch, almost two but there were some folks still finishing up. Good vibe, good music and casual atmosphere. I opted for the Takoyaki app which was tasty and not so burning hot that it scorched the roof of your mouth. Also the right amount of mayonnaise as opposed to often an excess. The Ramen Flight was fun in principle but I wouldn't do it again. I unwisely and perhaps naively assumed there would be mini versions of the full serving of Tonkotsu broth with Mayo, Thai curry and Szechuan with scallions. But it really is just the broth and ramen. Expected the Szechuan to have some heat and peppery lip buzz but did not. The Thai curry was super salty. Just missed some option of veggies and protein. Finally I would suggest not sitting near the front near the stairs to the kitchen. The spot has competing music soundtracks with two different play lists battling between your two ears.

All seats at the bar were open, but we hoped to sit at a regular (not high-top) table. As it turned out there were a few options in the back. That said, it wasn't long before the place was packed. Our server Tyra was fantastic. Down to earth and helpful with recommendations. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. We started with Jumbo Ebi Shumai. Tyra asked if we wanted a fourth (the dish comes with three) so we wouldn't have to rock-paper-scissors for the third dumpling. I thought they were delicious. I loved the spicy mustard that came with them. I admit they had a slight fishy flavor. I mean it was shrimp and I enjoyed it. Mark is less of a fish fan in general. The dumplings didn't really hit the mark for him. If you like seafood and you like shrimp you should enjoy the Shumai. I opted for Tonkatsu Ramen - Ramen and thick creamy pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, ginger and green onion. I added black garlic oil and did not go spicy at all. I thought it was very good and I ate literally every drop. Mark had Spicy Miso Ramen - Ramen and spicy creamy soybean paste pork broth with roast pork, soft boiled egg, bamboo, wood ear mushroom, and green onion. He said it was spicy, which was perfect for him. He also enjoyed his meal and finished every drop. We still had time to kill before the show so we opted for dessert. There were two options - Green Tea or Red Bean Ice Creams. Tyra recommended Red Bean and I'm glad she did. It was sweet with just the slightest crunch from the beans. It was a good size serving, hand dipped by Tyra. The proximity of Zundo to Memorial Hall or Music Hall makes it the perfect pre-show stop for dinner. We will definitely be back.
