This is one of my favorite, if not my favorite places to get sushi. Mae Ploy's has Thai food too, which is what they are known for, but I love love love their sushi! Anytime I get sushi I always get the rainbow roll, it's basically a California roll topped with assorted fish. And then I always get an order of edamame too. My friend got a tuna roll and some egg rolls, which are so good! We sat outside because the weather was so beautiful, but the inside is just as nice. Our waiter was very kind too. Every time we go to Mae Ploy's we have great experience and our recent visit was no exception. We arrived for an early dinner and were seated right away. The restaurant was clean and well cared for. Our friendly server got our cocktails while we decided what we wanted for dinner. For dinner I had the Pad Thai and my husband got sushi. My dinner was a generous portion and very tasty. We did take out today from here and chose it because of the great review. It's a great Thai place. The restaurant decor is adorable, from the artwork to the pallet ceiling it's well thought out. Our order was ready when we arrived. We had pad Thai with broccoli instead of noodles. The broccoli was cooked perfectly and the dish was delicious. And the price was more than fair! We decided to give this place a try tonight. We were greeted at the door and offered inside or outside seating. Outside looked great but rain coming in we opted for inside in a nice room by the front windows. Extensive Thai offerings and sushi. We ordered Mai Tai's and the were a very solid drink refreshing and quite strong. For n appetizers we tried the kanisu which were very tasty and fun presentation. We ordered the drunken woman noodles and the garden delight stir fry with pork. The food was plated pretty with a carrot flower. I ordered spice level 4 out of 5, I was surprised it seemed very mild spiced. Overall a nice place with a great meal at a reasonable price. I look forward to eating there again soon read more

Tried this place on a whim and it was pretty good. My best friend and I got some pad Thai and red curry to share and both were tasty. I think if I were to be back, I would get a higher spice level on the pad Thai since it was a little sweet for my personal palate, but the flavors were good. The red curry was tasty but even at the hottest spice level, I think it could have been spicier. Spice level is always tricky when trying a new place so just something I will have to keep in mind. The calamari was crunchy and tasty. Service was fantastic as I can see from other reviews and the owner was running around making sure she talked to all the patrons, which is not something you get everywhere. I would definitely come back and try some other things from their menu as well as some of their drinks as they looked amazing! read more

We are on a business trip and the Thai restaurant closest to our hotel was closed and so we headed there. This place should be rated 5 stars the food was perfect. One guy in our group is Asian and he had some special request on a dish and our waiter asked the owner if she could make and she agreed. He told us she doesn't always cook and she was there mostly to support the staff. She checked on and wanted to make sure we liked the food , she was just so kind. I wish she was in Atlanta because I would eat here at least twice a week. It's located in a cute little downtown Lebanon. Easy to park they have a nice little patio. My wife and I both had the curry and it was outstanding! Veggies were fresh and crisp. The chicken was all white meat and tender. Spice level was good. (We chose "mild" but it still had a good bite and there were three levels above that.) The rice was also well prepared. We started with an app platter that was equally good. Nothing was greasy and all had great taste. The crab rangoons were the highlight of the appetizer plate and truly different than any I have had before. Stopped here for lunch and we enjoyed our meals. I had the Eggplant Basil Stir Fry and it was very good. My wife had a Salmon Roll with Avocado and Pineapple Fried Race, both of which she enjoyed.
