    Sweet mango sushi roll
    Heather L.

This spot is in a small strip mall in the heart of the booming Mason Montgomery area. If you did not know it was here you might miss it. The inside is cozy and nice. The waiter who greeted me was very helpful. I had placed my order ahead online for take out and it was ready at the time promised. There is plenty of parking in a large shared lot. For starters I was dying to try their seasonal sweet mango sushi roll. At the heart of mango season, this was super fresh and delicious. A must try! Next I got the Green papaya salad. The flavor was great with a nice spicy kick. I loved the crunchiness of the veggies combined with the lettuce. For my main course I got the chicken pad thai. This fell a little short for me. The flavor was kind of flat, not much there. For dessert I got the mango sticky rice which was great. All ingredients were fresh. The prices seemed a little high comparatively and in regards to the portions.

    Nam tuk salad.

Nicely executed salad but mediocre in the flavor department. I don't think there was any mint, fish sauce was under utilized and meat had its tough moments. Cilantro was well positioned for flavor. I ordered a #3 in spicey which I think was brought on by Italian pepper flakes. Better if cayenne was used or gochchannhg. The iceberg lettuce was crisp and fresh. Instead of shallots, red onions were used. There were some carrot slivers but hardly noticeable. I don't think I'd order this again. Service was excellent.

Very friendly staff, great food and trendy atmosphere. Generous portion but most of all great flavor! Choose this place for dine in or carry out, terrific!

Good evening, fellow Yelpers! It's one of your favorite critics with another spectacular find! Thai Spicy of Deerfield Ohio. Before settling on this spot, I reviewed the competition, lol. When I entered the building, there were only 5 people (4 already eating, and 1 deciding on what she wanted). I didn't wait to be seated (it was going to be a carry out/take out order anyway) and strolled right up to the counter (it honestly looked like the ONLY logical place to make a to-go order). The hostess was friendly and informed me that the waitress would be with me shortly. As I scanned the extensive menu, I remembered "Pineapple Fried Rice" from the reviews earlier, so I ordered it with chicken & shrimp. I also ordered the crab rangoons and the mango sticky rice. I was told it would take like 15-20 minutes for my order to be ready, I acknowledged that it was fine. I was offered water or another beverage while i waited. The sentiment was nostaligic, but i declined nevertheless. Another customer who placed a "pick-up" order came to the same counter that i did (told y'all, I had a feeling I was right) and received her order. It smelled delicious, to say the least. I refrained from asking her what she ordered, didn't want to offend, or pry into the life of a stranger. My food arrived in less than the time i was originally told, very pleased with that. When I tell y'all everything was "On Point," that's an understatement. I am so happy I decided to go there! I can't speak on anyone else's experience, but mine was top-tier service! The food 10/10. The Mango Sticky Rice you keep hearing about, try it, you won't regret it! If you're from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, you probably already know, but if you're not and you have a taste for Thai food, this is it!!!!!!! Hope you enjoy your experience & food as much as I did!

Love this place. Every time I leave, I leave happy. The food is great, the service is great, and it's a cozy restaurant! The staff is amazing and friendly and the food looks good and tastes good! It's very convenient for me as I live right downtown the road. However, if you're going to go on a weekend make sure to make a reservation because it can get packed!

One of the rare Thai restaurants that serves some authentic Thai flavors. We had the Spicy Basil Fried Rice, Drunken Noodles, Bangkok Fried Rice, and Tom Yum Soup.

My colleague still found ways to complain, first about the iced tea (supposedly made with tap water) and then about the place not having desserts. They're not listed on the main menu. We later asked and the waitress confirmed they do not have desserts. The closest would be their bubble tea I suppose. I started my meal with a thai tea which was pretty sweet and served in a typical short mug. I ordeed the pad kra pow with beef, level 4 spice. My colleague ordered the pork veggies stir fry with snow pea and baby corn, level 3. When the food came out, my colleagues arrived within about 4 minutes of ordering, his tasted like a level 5 so he thought. Mine came out a couple minutes later and seemed like a level 1. Not sure why mine was so bland and his was so spicy. The beef on my pad kra pow is decent but bland and you don't get very much. Once done, you're left with a big bowl of soup broth basically and lots of bell peppers and onions. There are no diced thai peppers or sliced jalapeños in this dish when ordering level 4. Maybe microscopic red pepper flakes which did not make it spicy. Maybe should have ordered a 5. My colleague seemed to enjoy his dish though. I just wanted something sweet after dinner and this was maybe the first thai restaurant I've ever seen that doesn't offer dessert.

We came on a Monday night and were the only customers! Peking duck is one of my favorite dishes of all time and I haven't found any in Cincinnati (until now!). The 2 of us split the half duck as well as 3 types of dim sum. I am by no means a dim sum pro, but they were relatively tasty. From reading other reviews, it seems like on busier days they walk around with their dim sum cart, which is fun, but tonight it was just us so we ordered off the menu. The duck was the real star of the show. With the half duck you get 10 wrappers, the sliced duck, and the wrapping filling (cucumber and green onion) along with the sauce. The skin of the duck was crispy and fatty and delicious and the meat was tender and well cooked. We will definitely be back the next time we are craving Peking duck. It was not quite as perfect as duck I've had in China Towns in big cities, but certainly the best (and only?) I have found in the Cincinnati area!

We really enjoyed our dinner here last night…read more We ordered the Vegetable Spring Rolls for an appetizer. I ordered a water and my husband ordered a Tsingtao beer. We both liked the spring rolls. Nothing exciting about them. Just a standard spring roll. For our entrees we ordered the Red Curry Beef on spice level 9 (husband) and the Spicy Thai Basil on a level 5 spice. The spice heat is from 0-10 and we found it to be a good spice level for each of us. It is a little oily - less creamy and coconut-y than some Thai places we've eaten but we did enjoy our meals quite a bit. I do think that the Spicy Thai Basil dish needed a bit more basil in it. Overall, the food was very good and the service was ok. We'll definitely stop in again to try more of the menu.

We visited on a weeknight around 5 pm; not many diners but steady carry out business. The service was friendly and efficient. The ambiance is non-descript but very clean. As for the food... honestly kind of mediocre for us. We're not fans of curry so we stayed off that side of the menu. A few appetizers were very good, but the wonton soup did not have the rich broth we're used to. Our stir fry dishes, sweet & sour beef and beef with vegetables, were just okay. Just not a log of flavor. We likely will not return, but if you read the positive reviews and are knowledgeable about Thai and curry menus, the friendly service and affordable pricing may be worth giving this a try.
